Elite Athletes Lounge A.G Cloakroom o Elite Athletes Lounge 1 will be located in the BOULODROME. o Elite Athletes Lounge 2 will be located close to the START PONTOON. o A.G Cloakrooms (M&W) will be located close to the T.Z. Athletes will have to drop off their bags in the A.G Cloakroom. o Sealed bojles of water, fruits and energe=c bars will be available at the Elite Athletes Lounge. Dedicated toilets will be available close to the Athletes Lounge and to the A.G Cloakrooms. Showers will be in the Gym (300 m of the T.Z). 5. Doping Control o Could be performed on the main race venue according to French A.D Rules. o Athletes must carry their I.C to the doping control facili=es. The Doping Control Office is located in the Swimming Pool- 1rst Floor. 6. Medical Service o Dr Olivier FICHAUX and First Aid and Medical Services will be available on place during the compe==on days. The First- Aid Post is located in the Boulodrome. 7. 8 TRANSPORTATION - ACCOMODATION 1. How to get to Châteauroux? Châteauroux : hjp://maps.google.fr/maps?hl=fr&ie=utf- 8&tab=wl By car: Located less than a 3- hours drive from Paris by the A20 Paris- Toulouse - exits 12, 13 and 14- Highway A20 is free. By Plane o We recommend you to land in Paris Orly Airport because It is situated South of Paris like Châteauroux and then closer to the exit to Châteauroux and Austerlitz Sta=on. o From Paris Orly to Austerlitz Sta=on you can use RER C or taxi (about 40 ) with a bike. o From Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, you get a direct train to Châteauroux everyday at 16:21/ arrival in Chateauroux Sta=on at 20:06. From 70. o Return: Sunday / Monday: departure from Chateauroux sta=on at 9:20 / arrival at Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport at 12:07 (direct train). From 45. 12 COMPETITION INFORMATION q FIELD OF PLAY 1. The Swim Course: 1000m The swim course will be in the lake of Belle Isle (no current). o It will be a pontoon start - A.G will start in the water - 1 lap swim with on exit on the beach with a dive back in the water. o A.G waves will be set up according with the o ITU Rules and the numbers of compe=tors on each age group. o The distance between the T.Z and the Swim Start Area is about 50 m. Toilets and changing room will be available in this areas. A drop bags tent will be set up beside the A.G T.Z o The distance from the Swim Exit to the T.Z is about 50 m, 2,. The Run Course: 2 x 2,5 km = 5 km o On the asphalt flat o 1 Water- Aid Sta=on. Final posi=on, agreed by T.D, will be presented at the Briefing. 5/19/16 AQUATHLON ATHLETE 'GUIDE 12

13 COMPETITION INFORMATION q RESULTS Results will be uploaded live on the ITU s Official website: or on the Time Company website: hjp:// q COMPETITION RULES 2016 Châteauroux ETU Aquathlon Championships will follow the latest published Compe==ons Rules from the Interna=onal Triathlon Union 2016 ITU Compe==on Rules q ACCREDITATION From Thursday 23 th 17:00, at the Salle Barbillat Touraine on the Venue, LOC will provide Accredita=on to athletes and coaches for the Swimming Pool. q WEATHER CONDITTION Weather forecasts for the week before the event will be available online. q OPENING DINER Will occur on Friday 24th at 20:30 at the Salle Barbillat Touraine. Opening Night and dinner à la française : the pleasures of tradi=o0nal French cooking, terroir wines, and pasta for the compe=tors : 24. Only accredited persons will be allowed in. Accredita=ons will be delivered at the Welcome Desk in the Salle Barbillat Touraine. Registra=on before June 14th is mandatory.
