LAND PACKAGE BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE DATES: It is very important to give us your correct dates so that your hotel booking is made accordingly & reserved. FLIGHT DETAILS: This is also very important to be correct and you must book your flights before your Land Package. We guarantee once you have notified us by of your intention to book with us. Your Land Package & Race Entry Package will be reserved for 7 days whilst you book your flight and send your paper work to us. We suggest you send your paperwork by first class post and registered post (secure post) CHANGE / S TO YOUR LAND PACKAGE BOOKING: If the change/s to your booking is of your doing (you change your mind), we will charge you 25 per person. If the change is outside of your control (air carrier changes flights) we will not charge you. RACE ENTRY & LAND PACKAGE CONDITIONS ALLOCATION OF RUNNING BIBS & LAND PACKAGE: Limited to the first 200 bibs and the first 100 hotel beds sold. BIB & LAND PACKAGE AVAILABILITY: This is always subject to the amount sold at any given time so it is in your interest to check first with the organisers by . Once you check and we confirm that we have availability, your race & land package will be held for 7 days. After this time, the request will automatically fall unless an extension is requested. The earlier you book, the better. We can not be held responsible for any flight prebooked if you have not had your race & land package confirmed. BIB COLLECTION: The runner MUST collect their own bib and produce their own ID card or Passport and not a photocopy. DOCTORS OR NEXT OF KIN DECLARATION LETTERS: This purpose designed declaration letter and stamped with our race stamp will be sent to you towards the end of October You have no need to go to a doctor before hand and also no need to spend money on this service. We will only accept our doctors / next of kin declaration form. This form can be signed by a next of kin so therefore; will not cost you any money to do this. This form must be presented to us when you are in Malta at Registration. You will not be an official runner and will not be given your two running bibs should we not receive this declaration. We also do not hold ourselves responsible should you not give this form to us and you will not be entitled to a refund. NUMBER OF DAYS & NIGHTS STAY IN MALTA: We will not accept a land package booking if your FLIGHT arrival in Malta is after 16.00hrs on Thursday 27 th November and your return is before Tuesday 2 nd December You may however, request a shorter "tailor made" package due to your own special circumstances. This must be requested separately by and you will be quoted accordingly. Be advised that you will miss some of the social activities should you stay less than 7 nights in Malta. RACE ENTRY TO THE 2014 MCM BOOKED WITH ONE OF OUR OFFICIAL AGENTS: ALL overseas runners entering the Malta International "Challenge" Marathon in conjunction with one of our appointed "official agent" WILL BE ACCEPTED. These official agents will confirm your flights directly to you and then to us and they will also confirm your land package with us directly. RACE ENTRY TO THE 2014 MCM BOOKED DIRECTLY TO THE RUNNERS CENTRE OFFICE: When you book your land package directly with us to The Runners Centre office, you must first send us an for us to confirm and reserve your hotel place / s and running bib. Once we confirm and reserve your places / s, we give you 7 days to get your flight, booking forms & payment to us, after 7 days, the option will fall. RACE ENTRY TO THE 2014 MCM BOOKED DIRECTLY TO THE DOLMEN OR ANY OTHER HOTEL / ACCOMMODATION: However, booking the Dolmen Resort Hotel / or any other hotel or accommodation, on your own direct or via a non appointed agent and not through us or our appointed agent, means you WILL NOT have a guaranteed race entry. Entry Only is available but first by request by and the number will be limited by allocation, first come, first served only. Five percent (5%) of the allocation will be set aside for this purpose. TEAM & PAIRS DECLARATION: Runners must DECLARE their intention no latter than Thursday 27 th November PERMITS: It is understood that certain permits must be obtained to be able to organize this event. Permits from Local Councils, MEPA, Police and MTA. Should any of these permits not be issued or withdraw for reasons beyond our control, the race may have to be cancelled. However clients would still have their holiday as the land package is different to the race entry package. In the very remote case of this happening, The Runners Centre would refund the race entry fee only but would not be responsible for all other costs or expenses that you may have. GENERAL CONDITIONS BOOKINGS OPEN: 1 st February 2014, the booking system opens and each booking will be confirmed by (if we have your address) when we received the paperwork. Paperwork will be sent at the end of each month following receipt of booking. COMPLETED RACE ENTRY AND LAND PACKAGE FORMS: These two forms must be completed in CAPITAL LETTERS, in BLACK INK and the forms must be SIGNED. For Entry Only we only need to receive a completed entry form and payment. FINAL DEADLINE: The final deadline for both Race Entry and Land Package and Entry Only is Friday 17 th October 2014 but is most likely to be much earlier if the limit is reached before hand and will always be subject to availability anyway. Entry Only has its own conditions. POST: Post your Land Package & Race Entry Form, Flight Confirmation and full payment to the address on page 2 and 4. CANCELLATION: Cancellation of any part of your booking and at any time is NON REFUNDABLE so you should make sure that you insure yourself correctly.
