Late entries pay increased fee (+50% of the original entry fee). For the races 03 to 14 (Austrian Indoor-Rowing Championships) no late entries will be accepted. Entries must be made on the official entry form -> For entry form click: Completed entry forms shall be sent to Withdrawals and crew changes can be made online and are accepted until 24h before the first race. Further withdrawals and crew changes must be submitted in writing at the regatta office. 15 per rower in individual events and 24 per team in team events. Foreign participants get a 50% discount on entry fees. There is no entry fee for the races 16 to 19! Entry fees shall be made via bank transfer to: Wiener Ruderverband, IBAN: AT BIC: OPSKATWW If the payment via bank transfer is not possible, entry fees can be paid cash but only until one hour before the first race. If the entry fees are not paid in due time, the entries will be cancelled. 6 Settings Junior licences Competitors may use the resistance level of their choice, but this cannot be changed during the race. International competitors do not need to present junior licences Point system for team ranking Rules and regulations Schoolchildren team competition Indoor shoes Anti-Doping Policy Austrian Championships: The team with the most points from the races 3 to 14 will receive an honorary award. Point system: The winner of a race receives as many points as there are ranked competitors in this race. Each following competitor receives one point less than the next higher ranked. The last rank is awarded one point. Late entries will not be taken into account in the team ranking. Points can only be obtained for finished races. The points will be doubled for team races. The regatta will be conducted under the rules and regulations of the Austrian Rowing Federation (RoR complemented by the RWB, AR, BM) and the general provisions in this invitation. Only girls teams and boys teams are allowed to enter the schoolgirls team competition and the schoolboys team competition. The competitors of one team must not come from more than two different schools and must be verifiably part of a school team. Competitors of this event must not have been taking place in any regatta of the Austrian Rowing Federation prior to or during the year All competitors may be part of a rowing club. You may only enter the venue with shoes that have an abrasion-resistant white sole. Outdoor shoes are not allowed inside the venue! The Austrian Rowing Federation points out that competitors of the 2016 Austrian Indoor-Rowing Championships may be subject to random drug testing according to the Anti-Doping legislation. Therefore we want to remind you to solicit a TUE (therapeutic use exemption) from the Austrian Anti-Doping Committee (ÖADC) and the Austrian Rowing Federation for the use of prescribed medication, which is included in the doping list. Forms can be obtained here: Failure to comply with this rule will be sanctioned by the Austrian Rowing Federation. 6

The division of age categories will be done according to the Concept II World Ranking (heavyweight / lightweight, women / men): A: years, B: years, C: years, D: years, E: years, F: over 80 years. 2. An event will take place, if there are at least three competitors (individual events) or two teams (team events). Points will only be awarded for finished races. If an event does not take place, the competitors/teams will (if possible) be allowed to race in the next higher category that takes place, unless indicated otherwise on the entry form. 3. Every team consists of 4 competitors. 4. The generations race: 1 SchW/SchM (Born 2002 and later) + 1 JW/JM (Born ) + 1 M/W (Born ) + 1 MW/MM (Born 1983 or before). There has to be at least one female and one male competitor from the category Sch and Jun and at least one female and one male competitor from the category W/M and Masters. General provisions 5. The number of starts for competitors of the team events 23 to 29 is limited to three. 6. The races will take place without preliminary heats. If there are more competitors in one category than there are ergometer seats, the competitors will be assigned a racing group (either by draw or by seeding). 7. Races of different categories may take place at the same time. The final decision will be made by the Jury at the event. 8. The ergometers will be assigned either by draw or by seeding. 9. Lightweight rowers have to come to the scale in the order of their start numbers 1 to 2 hours prior to their race. If they exceed their maximum permitted weight they will be put into the open weight class, unless indicated otherwise on the entry form. 10. In case of a technical defect on the first half of the racing distance, the competitor may repeat his/her race in the next race with a vacant ergometer. Defects on the second half of the racing distance will not be considered for re-row. The Jury may make changes to the schedule in case of technical defects, material breakage etc. 11. Snacks and beverages as well as lunch meals can be bought at the WRV-buffet. 7

8 Liability Further information We would like to expressly draw your attention to the following: Competing rowing clubs and schools take on full responsibility for the adequate health and fitness level of their competitors. The organizer of this regatta does not assume any liability whatsoever for personal injuries, material damage or stolen and lost items. The sanitary facilities as well as other areas of the venue must be kept clean. There is a security service will be on site, who is responsible for the proper use of the premises. Orders of the security service must be obeyed. The members of the security service have the right to take people, who disobey the house rules and/or the orders of the security service, off the premises.
