Zanker) hampered on jumping away. CLOCKIMUS PRIME (W. Kerford) - jumped away awkwardly and shifted out onto LEMON ZEST. LEMON ZEST (J. Kah) hampered on jumping away. SEATTLE FLIGHT (D. Tourneur) was momentarily held up at the entrance to the straight. Rider pleaded guilty to a charge under AR137A(5)(a)(ii) in that he used his whip on more than five occasions prior to the 100 metres and was fined $500. VINTAGE DISH (J. Cartwright) - jumped away awkwardly and shifted in onto ANOTHER ENEMY. RACE 2 : SAGLE CONSTRUCTIONS BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP metres SILENT MAN (D. Tourneur) laid out under pressure in the straight. RICCONE (B. Griffiths) - jumped away awkwardly. Rider pleaded guilty to a charge under AR137A(5)(a)(ii) in that he used his whip on more than five occasions prior to the 100 metres and was fined $200. CINCINNATI (T. Zanker) - jumped away awkwardly and shifted out. LATER BABY (D. Caboche) - a post-race veterinary RACE 3 : COOPERS CLEAR / SABOIS MAIDEN PLATE metres CENTURIUS (Z. Spain) raced wide without cover throughout the event. Laid in under pressure in the straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a minor laceration to the near fore shin. First aid administered. TIME TO ORDER (J. Bowditch) raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event. CHAMPAGNE FLOWERS (D. O Donnell) - a post-race veterinary MADDISON CARISSA (J. Holder) held up from the vicinity of the 500 metres until near the 200 metres. MORE TO EXPLORE (D. Tourneur) raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event. LABELS (J. Cartwright) raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event. RACE 4 : COOPERS MILD ALE / SABOIS MAIDEN PLATE metres NEVER WITHOUT YOU (T. Pannell) had difficulty in obtaining clear ground from the entrance to the straight until the vicinity 100 metres. Rider explained he had become disappointed in attempting a tight run to the inside of PATRIOT ACT at the entrance to the straight when that mare rolled in as it commenced to weaken and for this reason shifted out in an attempt to obtain clear ground, however, had become disappointed in the vicinity of the 300 metres when looking to improve to the outside of SUPER RULES when LOTTA DAME commenced to roll in and for this reason elected to alter course to obtain a run to the inside of IXCATAN but again became disappointed when that gelding laid in under pressure and was obliged to alter course to the outside again to obtain clear ground. Stewards noted T. Pannell s explanation, however, advised him that in hindsight if he had shown more patience inside the 400 metres when he originally shifted out, a run would have presented in the vicinity of the 200 metres between IXCATAN and SUPER RULES. SUPER RULES (E. Finnegan) a post-race veterinary examination revealed a poor recovery. First aid administered. ATTIRED (A. Doyle) - on application by the Stable Farrier that he was unable to shoe the gelding behind, permission was given for ATTIRED to race bare behind. Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and passed fit to race. FAMILJA (J. Toeroek) - a post-race veterinary IXCATAN (J. Holder) shifted in on jumping away. Laid in under pressure in the straight. STATEYOURBUSINESS (J. Cartwright) - a post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities. RED JIAN (J. Kah) - Trainer fined $50 under AR59A for failing to produce Thoroughbred Identification Card. The horse was permitted to start identified from records held by Stewards. CREAM OF THE CROP (M. Neilson) laid out under pressure in the straight. Approaching the 100 metres shifted out onto LA BONNE MUSIQUE. Rider pleaded guilty to a charge under AR137A(5)(a)(ii) in that he used his whip on more than five occasions prior to the 100 metres and was fined $100. LA BONNE MUSIQUE (J. Bowditch) inconvenienced approaching the 100 metres. MODEL BEHAVIOUR (D. Caboche) shifted out on jumping away. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities. GENERAL WITNESS (C. Lindop) - hampered on jumping away when tightened between MODEL BEHAVIOUR and IXCATAN. RACE 5 : AUSSIE CIDER BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP metres CONCENTRATE (Z. Spain) rider accidentally dropped his whip in the vicinity of the 200 metres and was reprimanded under AR137(a) for Carelessness. VIOLETS ARE BLUE (J. Mamat) laid in under pressure in the straight. 3 RACE 5 : AUSSIE CIDER BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP metres (Cont d) SHELBY APPLES (C. Lindop) raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event. A post-race veterinary DOWNS AFTER DARK (L. Stojakovic) shifted in, in the vicinity of the 600 metres onto JUST PEGGY. Rider guilty to a charge of Careless Riding under AR137(a) for shifting ground when insufficiently clear of JUST PEGGY and was suspended from riding in races for a period to commence at midnight on Sunday, 5 June and to conclude at midnight on Sunday, 12 June 2016: a period of three (3) meetings. JUST PEGGY (J. Kah) had to take hold in the vicinity of the 600 metres and lost its position. PRINCESS ASTRO (E. Finnegan) laid in under pressure in the straight. SEMAPHORE (J. Bowditch) held up from the entrance to the straight until the vicinity of the 200 metres. CHANDLERY (B. Griffiths) raced greenly in the straight and inclined to shift about. RACE 6 : MY BUTCHER BENCHMARK 56 HANDICAP 1200 metres The start of this event was delayed approximately five minutes. SPALDING COVE (T. Pannell) held up at the entrance to the straight until approaching the 200 metres. Lost its near hind plate during the event. IRISH MAMBO (A. Doyle) rider reported in his opinion the gelding had got its tongue out over the bit during the race. A post-race veterinary LATIN HERO (L. Stojakovic) had to take hold momentarily near the 1000 metres when DECOMPRESSION shifted in. HIGH ALTUTUDE (NZ) (J. Kah) lost its off fore plate in the mounting yard and required Farrier attention. PITCH DARK (E. Finnegan) - a post-race veterinary CALL ME PENNY (T. O Donnell) had to be checked inside the 1000 metres to avoid the heels of DECOMPRESSION. A post-race veterinary DECOMPRESSION (J. Mamat) - jumped away awkwardly. Shifted in, in the vicinity of the 1000 metres onto LATIN HERO, which was forced to take hold momentarily. Rider reprimanded. Inside the 1000 metres shifted in when insufficiently clear of CALL ME PENNY, which was forced to check. Rider pleaded guilty to a charge of Careless Riding under AR137(a) for shifting ground when insufficiently clear and was suspended from riding in races for a period to commence at midnight on Wednesday, 8 June, and to conclude at midnight on Monday, 13 June 2016: a period of three (3) meetings. SPINNING CROWN (B. Griffiths) stood flat footed and was slow to begin. RACE 7 : WOODSTOCK BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP metres TUSCAN FEVER (J. Mamat) inconvenienced shortly after the start when ZIPNOTIZED rolled in. Raced wide without cover throughout the event. ANOTHER AL (T. Pannell) in the vicinity of the 400 metres raced in restricted room for a number of strides when inside JARRVIS. ROD S OPINION (D. Tourneur) lost its near fore plate during the event. 4 RACE 7 : WOODSTOCK BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP metres (Cont d) THE NIGHT SKY underwent a pre-race veterinary examination as the mare kicked out in its race day stall and was found to be lame in the near hind leg and unfit to race. Acting on this advice THE NIGHT SKY was declared a late scratching at 3.35 pm. ZIPNOTIZED (J. Kah) rolled in shortly after the start onto TUSCAN FEVER. BANG FOR YA BUCK (P. Gatt) - raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event. JARRVIS (D. Tootell) shifted out on jumping away and bumped THAT S A SLAB. FIGURE THIS (D. Caboche) - a post-race veterinary RACE 8 : BIRNIE SANDERS HOTEL BROKERS BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP metres PERPETUAL BLISS (J. Mamat) held up for a short distance at the entrance to the straight. EXECUTIVE ORDERS (NZ) (M. Neilson) - a post-race veterinary examination revealed no visible abnormalities. Rider reported that in his opinion the filly felt short in its action on pulling up. A post-race veterinary ONCE PERCENTA (C. Lindop) - jumped away awkwardly and shifted in bumping EMMOOKI S STAR. Taken wider on the track approaching the 800 metres by WHERE S THAT. A post-race veterinary SATURDAY MAGIC (J. Cartwright) raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event. ALBORBROWN (J. Holder) held up from the entrance to the straight until inside the 300 metres. MISTER TEEJAY (T. Pannell) - a post-race veterinary EMMOOKI S STAR (J. Kah) contacted on jumping away. Shifted out and away from LOUVRE LADY approaching the 800 metres onto WHERE S THAT. LOUVRE LADY (Z. Spain) approaching the 800 metres improved onto the heels of MISTER TEEJAY had to be steadied momentarily and in doing so shifted out slightly onto EMMOOKI S STAR. QUESTO E VELOCE (E. Finnegan) - jumped away awkwardly and contacted LOUVRE LADY, which shifted out resulting in this mare losing its position when tightened onto SWEET SATURDAY. Shifted out and away from EMMOOK S STAR approaching the 800 metres onto ONE PERCENTA.
