Age eligibility: 18 years (born on or before 12/05/2000) Participation in the World 10K is open for only international and national elite athletes. To qualify in this race category, please enclose a photocopy of your latest official timing certificate (conducted within the period of 24 months preceding race day i.e. 13th May 2018) along with the application form. Entry into this race category is subject to elite qualification criteria as set out by event promoters, Procam International Pvt. Ltd. Where an applicant does not qualify for the World 10K, the said applicant shall be confirmed in the Open 10K Run race category, subject to event application rules and guidelines Min. Age eligibility: 15 years (born on or before 12/05/2003) Your application for this category will be confirmed based on criteria for confirmation, which are explained in details below in this form. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR OPEN 10K APPLICANTS No group registration will be accepted for the Open 10K race category. However, a representative can submit up to 10 individual application forms. Your application form must be submitted along with your valid photo identity proof issued by the Government, i.e. passport, PAN card or Aadhar card which has complete date of birth on it and recent passport size photo, all participants' race day images will be screened visually after the race and matched with the photo provided at the time of registration. If the photo provided during registration does not match with race day photo of the confirmed participant, the registered runner will be disqualified from the race and the subsequent edition of the event. Your entry for the Open 10K race category will be confirmed basis:- Eligibility of the application, and supporting documents submitted, under confirmation criterion applied for (refer to 'Criteria for Confirmation' given below), Verification of documents submitted along with application form, Availability of running spaces, Entry rules and guidelines of 2018 edition. Once your entry is confirmed, you will be required to visit the Nestlé Get Active Expo personally to collect your running number bib. CRITERIA FOR CONFIRMATION Your entry to the Open 10K Run category will be confirmed basis the 'confirmation criteria' explained in details below. I] TIMING CRITERIA: 'Applicants' please note You must have participated in a distance running event which fulfils the following requirements a) The running event must have been conducted within the period of 24 months preceding race day, i.e.13th May 2018 b) Timing of only Marathon ( km), 25 km, Half Marathon ( km), and 10 km distances will be considered for the Open 10K race category. Timing certificate of a recognized timed relay race, where an individual covers a distance of minimum 10 km, will be considered to qualify for Open 10K race category. c) To be eligible for confirmation under this criterion, your timing certificate needs to show your finish time as specified below: Distance participated in Marathon ( km) 25 Km Run Half Marathon ( km) 10 Km Finish Time 06:54:00 or faster 03:58:00 or faster 03:18:35 or faster 01:30:00 or faster

2 d) The timing certificate needs to be from a running event, where the course is measured either by an accredited IAAF-AIMS measurer using the calibrated bicycle method (refer to the event website for a note on calibrated bicycle method) or by a local state athletic association representative using a GPS measurement device. Measurement by GPS device has been found to underestimate course length by approximately 200m over a half marathon distance so the target reading for a GPS-measured half marathon should be 1% more than the advertised distance, i.e km. Equivalent GPS device target lengths for other race distances would be: 10km: 10.1km; 20km: 20.2km; 25km: 25.25km; Marathon: 42.62km. The measurement report must be uploaded onto the official website of the event. e) All runners are compulsorily timed using the RFID technology. Timing tags must be pasted on to the bibs before handing over the running number bibs to the runners timing tags must not be handed out loose to the runners. f) The provisional timing results are displayed on the website within 12 hours of published close hour of the race. e) Outside of running events promoted by Procam International (viz. the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon, the Tata Mumbai Marathon and the Tata Steel Kolkata 25K), THE TCS WORLD 10K BENGALURU DOES NOT ENDORSE ANY RACE AS AN OFFICIAL QUALIFIER and no advantage may be sought by any participant claiming a finish time from any such race. Guidelines for race Promoters/Organizers of running events Given below are guidelines for promoters/organizers of running events for the timing certificates of your races to be accepted as part fulfillment of confirmation criteria where submitted by an applicant. Please note where any of the guidelines are not followed by a promoter/organizer, or where there are any issues/complaints relating to timing, distance or facilities provided by race organizers on race day, Procam may at its sole discretion, not accept the timing certificates of such running events. The decision of Procam's shall be unequivocal and final. The running event must have been conducted within the period of 24 months preceding TCS W10K 2018 race day, i.e. 13th May Please note your running event cannot use the term 'qualifier to TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES WORLD 10K BENGALURU' or 'official qualifier to TCS W10K BENGALURU' in full or part in any communication. The provisional timing results are displayed on the website within 12 hours of published close hour of the race. Results and timing certificates should be available for verification by Procam on the website. Adequate verifiable mechanisms are put in place to verify that the applicant for TCS WORLD10K 2018 is the runner who registered and ran at the running event in concern. A organizer/promoter to give a written declaration to Procam confirming the following The technical conduct of the race in question is being assisted by the local/state athletic federation. Number of timing mats used (in addition to mats at start and finish gates) and the locations where mats are placed (indicating kilometre point). The course has adequate verifiable anti-cheat mechanisms, including timings mats at split points, functional cameras at important junctions throughout the duration of the race with footage available for verification and officials present at crucial junctions. II] WOMEN'S CRITERIA: There are a limited number of running places reserved for women applicants who cannot produce a timing certificate as mentioned above. III] GENERAL CATEGORY: Where your application cannot be confirmed in or does not fall under either of the two criteria mentioned above for whatsoever reason, with the exclusion of the application being rejected or is invalid, your application will be under general category where limited applications are accepted. Applications under general category will be accepted on first come first served basis and event Promoter will stop accepting applications as and when the limited running spaces kept aside for General Category are filled. IV] CHARITY RUNNING PLACES: Limited charity running places for the Open 10K Run are available at a premium (over and above the applicable registration fee) with the Event's official Philanthropy Partner, India Cares Foundation. The amount to be paid by the applicant will be minimum of `3000. After deducting applicable event entry fee, the balance shall be remitted to the chosen Civil Society Organisation (CSO/NGO) registered with the Philanthropy Partner for the Event chosen by the applicant. The application form for charity running places will be available with India Cares Foundation- use only such form to apply for charity running places. Please note, charity running places will not be available after 21st April 2018 or as soon as running places are filled, whichever is earlier. You may log on to the event website for more details. Has your doctor ever said that you have a heart condition and that you should only do physical activity recommended by a doctor? Do you feel pain in your chest when you do physical activity? In the past month, have you had chest pain when you were not doing physical activity? Do you lose your balance because of dizziness or do you ever lose consciousness? Do you have a bone or joint problem that could be made worse by a change in your physical activity? Is your doctor currently prescribing drugs for your blood pressure or heart condition? Are you pregnant? Are you diabetic? Do you know of any other reason why you should not do physical activity? If you have answered YES to any of the questions above, then please consult your physician before applying for registration in Tata Consultancy Services World 10K Bengaluru. Irrespective of whatever may be your age, we sincerely advise you to obtain a medical clearance from a registered medical practitioner/doctor before applying for the Tata Consultancy Services World 10K Bengaluru It is unfair to you and your family to risk serious illness and become a medical emergency on race day. ENTRY RULES AND GUIDELINES 1. You may use a photocopy of the physical or downloaded form from the event website to send in your application. 2. Only one applicant can apply for the Event using a single form. Also, do not send in more than one entry per person; multiple applications will entail all being rejected. 3. Applicants must submit their entries only via the Application Modes mentioned in this form. No individual/group has been authorised to collect entries on behalf of the Promoter. 4. NO GROUP ENTRIES will be accepted for the Open 10K race category. 5. One representative can submit application forms for maximum 10 individual runners for Open 10K race category. 6. Before sending in your application, please check if you.. have filled in details against all mandatory fields prefixed with '*' in the application form; have attached a copy of your latest timing certificate as may be required to confirm you under priority line up on race day (if applicable); have affixed a copy of your latest colour passport sized photograph with face clearly visible on the form. All participants' race day images will be screened visually after the race and matched with the photo provided at the time of registration. If the photo provided during registration does not match with race day photo of the confirmed participant, the registered runner will be disqualified from the race and the subsequent edition of the event.; have attached a copy of either your Aadhar card, PAN card or passport to the form which has your clear date of birth on it; have enclosed the requisite application fees (refer to 'application fees' chart); have met the minimum age eligibility criteria for the chosen race category; have signed the 'waiver' in the application form; if the applicant is below the age of 18 years, the guardian has also signed the 'waiver' and written his/her relation with the applicant. 7. Where any discrepancy is found in any of the above mentioned mandatory requirements, your application will not to be accepted. 8. 5 11. Entries not accepted: Participation in the event is subject to entry confirmation. Where your entry is not confirmed for any reason, the entry fees paid by you will be refunded on or before 30th May An amount of ` 150 will be deducted as processing charges. Any refund discrepancies must be brought to the attention of the Event Registration Team immediately. Refund queries will not be entertained post 7th June Requests for cancellation and thereby, refund will not be entertained. Further, application fees shall not be refunded by virtue of non participation, including failure by a confirmed participant to collect his/her bib from the Nestlé Get Active Expo. 13. Running number bib collection: 13.1 All confirmed participants/their authorized representatives are required to come to the Nestlé Get Active Expo Bengaluru (Address will be confirmed on the website, closer to the event) scheduled from 10th May 2018 to 12th May 2018 in order to collect their running number bibs. No running number will be posted to individual mailing addresses 13.2 It is mandatory for an Open 10K Run participant to collect his/her running number personally from the Nestlé Get Active Expo In case of unavoidable circumstances, such runner can send his/her authorised representative to collect running number bib on his/her behalf. Please note, a representative will not be allowed to collect running number bib on behalf of more than ONE Open 10K Run participant Authorised representative must carry with him/her (a) the website confirmation downloaded from application status on (b) photo-identity proof (Aadhar card, PAN card or passport) of the representative and the confirmed participant. 14. Confirmed runner's identity and proof of residence may be verified by a verification agency hired for validating the details provided by you in the form. Where any information and/or any document provided by an applicant/runner at any point in time is found to be incorrect, participation of the said runner shall be withheld/disqualified and there will be no refund of application fees paid by the runner. All benefits accruing to the said runner as a participant of Tata Consultancy Services World 10K Bengaluru 2018 shall stand forfeited. 15. All Open 10K participants' race day images will be screened visually after the race and if any of the participant is found not wearing the running number bib allotted to him/her, the participant registered for that bib will be disqualified from the race and the subsequent edition of the event in Further, Procam International reserves the right to take necessary legal action against the registered participant and the person who has used the running number bib on race day, for impersonation. 16. This application form and the right to participate in the event and the rights and benefits available to the applicant under this entry form is at the sole discretion of the event Promoters, Procam International Pvt.
