MY SON S CROSS COUNTRY TEAM REALLY ENJOYED IT! Thanks for signing up for the 2016 Subway Dragons 5K on Saturday, July 23 at Fifth Third Field. This guide should walk you through every step of the race, from parking to packet pick-up to the post-race party. Enjoy! GROUP PRIZES FOR TOP FINISHING TEAMS! The run/walk is a perfect activity for friends, family, coworkers whoever! Back in 2016 is the ability to sign up as a team. We have great prizes for team sign-ups as well as individual sign-ups. The top four finishers times on each team will be counted. $25 $30 $15 THRU JULY 17TH AFTER JULY 17TH YOUTH SPECIAL (MUST BE 17 OR UNDER DAY OF RACE!) SUBWAY DRAGONS 5K

3 PACKET PICK-UP The goodie bag was AWESOME. the atmosphere was fun, the organization was excellent. It was the best race we ve attended. And thanks for the game tickets! Meters are not enforced on weekends! WHAT TO BRING Photo I.D. to pick up bag or names of those you are picking up packets for (do not need their I.D. s to pick up their bags) IN THE BAG... 4 RACE DAY WHEN Saturday, July 23, 2016 VENUE Fifth Third Field SCHEDULE COURSE MAP 7am - 9am Day of Registration/Packet Pick Up 8:30am - 9am Pre-Race Stretch & Zumba Warm-Up! 9am RACE STARTS! 9:15am - 12:30pm Post-Race Party 48 Island Metropark 48 Race Course Water Station 48 START FINISH The race will start in front of the stadium and end in the exact same place. Participants will be staggered along the start line based on their mile time to ensure a quick start, with strollers in the back SUBWAY DRAGONS 5K

5 POST-RACE PARTY! ACTIVITIES FOR ALL AGES! Inflatable and carnival games Face painting Balloon animals Dragons Green Team with colorful hair spray paint Kids obstacle course PLUS An awards ceremony featuring group and individual prizes Complimentary water and fruit The race was very well organized with lots of activities at the post-race party for the WHOLE FAMILY It was a very fun time! 6 HIT A HOMERUN WITH OUR... COSTUME CONTEST! NEW in 2016 is the Subway Dragons 5k Costume Contest! Participants are encouraged to dress in anything that exemplifies your Dragons team spirit! Why? Because you will have the chance to win gear from the Dragons Den Team Store if you are victorious in one of the categories below. GREAT PRIZES FOR THE BEST COSTUMES! Categories Include: Best Male Costume Best Female Costume Best Youth Costume Best Group Costume SUBWAY DRAGONS 5K

7 GENERAL INFO WEATHER The race is rain or shine. WATER Water will be available before the race at the City of Dayton Water Truck. Following the race, water will be passed out INSIDE THE MAIN GATES! After finishing the race, immediately make your way towards the main gates to get your free food and water. CANCELLATIONS The Subway Dragons 5k does not accommodate cancellation requests. If you would like to give your registration to someone else, you may do so by contacting com. If you were unable to attend the race, don t worry! You can still pick up your race bag at the stadium or for those out-of-towners, request your bag be mailed to you. BAG PICK-UP Bag pick-up is available Friday, July 22 or Saturday, July 23. You are able to pick up race bags for others. GAME TICKETS Runners that register before June 1 will be asked to select a game date BEFORE the day of the race. Runners that register on or after June 1 will receive an AFTER the race about selecting a date for their two tickets. AGE GROUPS As we have done in the past, age groups for the race will be 10 and under, 11-15, and so on up to 70 and up. Prizes will range from team store gift certificates to Subway gift cards to engraved bats! PARKING Do not worry about finding parking, there is plenty of free parking around the stadium! Meters are not enforced on the weekend so find a side street close to Fifth Third Field and you are good to go.
