2 George Glass Track and Field Invitational (Last updated 4/5/17) Entries: Saturday, April 8, at 11:00 am All entries will be handled via any questions to No entries will be accepted via phone. Unattached/Club athletes MUST PAY ONLINE with a credit card at registration via Direct Athletics. Entry Fee: $25 per individual athlete, Entries will not exceed $200 per team ($400 for both men and women combined). Team checks made payable to Taylor University Track and Field. Entry fees will be collected the day of the meet at packet pick up. Entry deadline: All entries must be finalized by 12noon EST on Wednesday, April 5 th, NO late entries will be allowed. A list of accepted entries will be posted to the website no later than 10pm (EST) Wednesday night. Scratches: To assist meet management in providing the most competitive fields possible, please submit all scratches to (taylormeets@gmail.com) no later than Thursday April 6 th at 12noon. Heat Sheets: Final heat sheets will be posted no later than Friday April 7 th at 12noon. You can find them posted here:

3 Number of competitors: Team entries will be unlimited Packet Pick up: Packet pick up/entry payments will be available on site in timing tower. Track & Infield: 8-lane oval, 400m Reflex I Latex track surface Throws: Hammer Throw, Shot Put, Discus, Javelin Training facilities: Rules: Trainers will be available to all teams beginning one-hour prior to competition and lasting throughout the completion of the meet. Please bring your own tape/wrapping equipment. NCAA Rules will govern the meet. Results: Results will be announced and then posted on the fence near the 200m start. Following, the meet results will be uploaded to Direct Athletics and to Taylor University s athletic website. Event Check-in: There will be a check in tent that you must arrive at 15 minutes before your event. You will then be escorted to the track for the start of your event. Field check in: Warm-ups: Athletes are required to check in 30-mins prior to the start time of their event. No athletes will be permitted check-in after the start of the event. Implement weigh in from 9:00-11am The nearby football practice field will be utilized as the warm up venue for all events. (roll-out Mondo, blocks, and hurdles will be available)

4 Bus Drop: Parking: Busses may drop off teams in the lot behind the football field near the warm up fields. Busses are welcome to stay in the softball field lot. Parking is available in the lots near the KSAC, library, student center, behind the football stadium and in front of the Odle Arena/Winterholter Baseball Field. Housing: For best rates contact Best Western Gas City and mention Taylor University (765) Running Events: All races will be a final. Fastest to slowest. Field events: Timing: Food Services: Admission: All competitors will receive 3 attempts in the preliminaries. Top 9 competitors will advance to the finals where, they will receive an additional 3 attempts. Finish Lynx Concessions will be available. Local Pizza Hut (Gas City) Admission is $7-Adults, $4 Students Please No athletes in Bleachers! Team Camps: Team camps will be set up on the warm up field. And Outside of the track. 5 With the exception of Javelin and High Jump spikes (3/8 Pyramid), ¼ Pyramid Spikes are the longest that will be allowed. No CHRISTMAS TREE or NEEDLE/PIN Spikes.
