1 VIRGINIA TRACK & FIELD Virginia Challenge MEET DATE: Friday- Saturday, April 22-23, 2016 LOCATION: DIRECTIONS: SCHEDULE: PARTICIPANTS: Lannigan Field, Charlottesville, VA xctrack/spec- rel/lannigan- field- track.html UVA Director of Track & Field/Cross Country, Bryan Fetzer, must approve all teams and participants. Universities with less then a full team (14 per gender) will be required to meet a higher entry standard than those with full teams). Full team will be limited in total numbers in certain events in addition to the standard. NON- COLLEGIATE ATHLETES: On a very limited basis. Only USATF Championship participants or international level athletes will be considered with proof of performance. NO HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETES WILL BE PERMITTED TO PARTICIPATE HOTELS: Reserve hotels as early as possible for next year. This year is very limited ENTRY INFORMATION: All entries must be submitted via ENTRY PROCEDURE: Only TFFRS performances will be accepted. Speculative marks will be accepted in the 10000m. All entries must be verifiable. ENTRY FEE: $400 per team per gender or $35.00 per athlete Payment online only no payment will be received at competition ACCEPTED ENTRIES: Minimum entry standards will be posted. ENTRY DEADLINE: Wednesday, April 13 th at 8:00 pm. COMBINED EVENTS: Combined Events accepted list posted April 14. All athletes must be entered on Direct Athletics as well as entry sheet ed to mariowilson@virginia.edu ENTERING DOES NOT GUARENTEE ACCEPTANCE INTO THE MEET PERFORMANCE LIST: Posted Tuesday, April 19 th Heat sheets will be posted by Thursday, April 21 PRACTICE TIMES: Thursday, April 21 from 4:00-8:00PM, Friday, April 22 from 8:00-9:00AM No practice times will be permitted on Saturday, April 23

2 SCORING: Dual meet scoring will be available. Please contact Bryan Fetzer if you are interested in scoring with 2-3 other universities SPIKES: Use of 1/4 pyramid spikes will be enforced. Use of 3/8 spikes allowed for High Jump and Javelin.
