6 European Games 2019 in Minsk General Information Dates: June 2019 (Opening & Closing ceremony) Location: Dinamo Stadium, Minsk, Belarus Sports: 15 Archery Athletics Badminton Basketball (3x3) Beach soccer Boxing Canoe sprint Cycling Gymnastics Judo Karate Sambo Shooting Table tennis Wrestling

7 Why are we taking part in the European Games 2019 in Minsk? Reasons to take part in Minsk EA took already part at EG2015 with ETCH 3rd League and street athletics EOC and MOCOG are paying flights & accommodation for all athletes and cover all operational cost (7 figure investment) The calendar in 2019 sets ideal conditions EA MF can use EG to prepare for the season in June with a top level event for their top athletes EA has moved ETCH to August (10-11 Aug) IAAF fixed WCH in Doha very late (28 Sep-6 Oct)

8 Why are we taking part in the European Games 2019 in Minsk? Conditions to take part in Minsk We cannot use an existing EA event (e.g. U23, ETCH) for Minsk due to current media & sponsor contracts We agreed with EOC to create a new event outside of any contractual restrictions For 2019 we want to use the opportunity to test a new event format to appeal to a younger audience set the basis for a future model of competition

13 What is this new event? These are the main ideas National team based competition combining male & female athletes. Mix of traditional and new formats. Focus on the top disciplines tying in with new trend sports. Short and compact. Only one event happening at a time. Everything counts. Easy to understand, unpredictable until the very end. Digital media/technology interconnecting the fans with the event.
