Miami, FL -- G Marine, Miami's "European Yacht Boutique" and exclusive dealer to the Americas for the renowned 100-year old shipbuilder, Astondoa, brings a new Top Deck to South Florida to celebrate the summer. This hull is the 4th of the model, proving the risk-taking and innovation of the Astondoa shipyard was warranted for a niche yachting market-families who like to boat together.

3 Background: Several years ago, a Mexican entrepreneur conceived the concept of the Top Deck as his dreamed boat--a "floating island" that could accommodate a

4 boatload of people and fun. The fold-out "wings" that extend the footprint of the boat are utilized on both the upper deck as well as the swim platform, creating while at anchor or mooring, an expanded space for passengers to enjoy their onboard experience. The first generation was a 63' Top Deck, designed by Luiz de Basto, constructed by Astondoa as another of the yard's truly bespoke boats. The boat was appreciated for its clever hydraulic drop-down wings that add square footage to the yacht. The first two Top Decks were purchased by grandparents who enjoyed having the whole family together for a day of boating. While staterooms were built, they were used more for privacy and relaxation-a place where one could retreat from all the top deck activities to an air-conditioned, private space. The top decks, swim platform, on-deck and inside galleys were the focus where function, easy maintenance and group activities were priorities. Evolution of the concept: The third Top Deck was built for a younger customer who also desired family time and this 4th model combines the desire for family boating with more luxurious design. While function is still primary, solid teak flooring and varnished teak cabinetry are accented by white upholstery. The sturdy hard top has equally heavy-duty supports, painted gunmetal gray for accent. Astondoa's interior design touches make this yacht one that the owners can enjoy from all of the senses. While feeling the wind, smelling salt air, hearing children's laughter and tasting food grilled and shared at a table that seats 12, the owner of a Top Deck is on top of the world! The bow is a giant sun pad with cushions facing fore and aft while the aft deck is a bar with a grilling and chilling station that overlooks the Jacuzzi and swim platform. The helm station on the main deck controls all aspects of the boat with Schneider Electric instruments and a Garmin glassed bridge. A large one-piece windshield protects the dash and passengers. Directly behind the captain is ample room for company; a Corian counter houses a wine cooler, sink, concealed trashcan, a drawer refrigerator/freezer and retractable outdoor TV. Seating around the center table enables everyone to join in meals cooked either on the upper deck grill or in the galley below. A main deck settee has a table that retracts to a soft cushioned sun pad that can create a movie theater onboard. The hot tub adds more entertainment options and can be filled with salt water when at anchor. At anchor is when the magic happens as the Top Deck literally unfolds from a nearly a 17' beam to over 21' of deck space. The beefy hydraulic hinges fold down easily with safety rails that snap up when needed. The swim platform

5 becomes a beach club as the garage opens, stepping down to wings that expand to the sides while the submersible platform drops either a personal watercraft, tender-or people--into the water. The garage, which houses a laundry, mini-galley and the electrical panels, can be utilized for toy storage, dive and snorkel gear, for crew quarters or a 3rd stateroom. The galley is more of a media or multipurpose room as the Miele appliances are behind a counter that faces a large TV screen and seating for the whole gang should the weather turn inclement or some of the crew desires air conditioning or entertainment. The rest of the below deck can be configured as desired with 2-3 staterooms with king, queen or bunk beds. Though outfitted for overnights, most find the Top Deck a day boat. When people are ready to go back to motoring or heading for the dock, the wings easily fold up and the twin Volvo Penta IPS 950 engines cruise at 20 knots or go for top speed at 27 knots. The nearly 650 gallon fuel tanks have a range of approximately 12 hours and a great full day on the water. After seeing the second generation of the new 65 Top Deck in operation, Galante, stated simply, "It works!"
