The Praise is for Allah azwj Lord azwj of the Worlds, and Blessing be upon our Chief Muhammad saww and his saww Purified Progeny asws, and greetings with abundant greetings. Supplications before and after Salat: ع ل ي ب ن إ ب ر اه يم ب ن ه اش م ع ن أ ب يه ع ن اب ن أ ب ع م ي ع ن ح اد ب ن ع ث م ان ع ن ا ل ل ب ع ن أ ب ع ب د الل ه )عليه السالم ( ق ال إ ذ ا اف ت ت ح ت الص ال ة ف ار ف ع ك ف ي ك ث اب س ط ه م ا ب س طا ث ك ب ر ث ال ث ت ك ب ي ات ث ق ل Ali ibn Ibrahim ibn Hashim has narrated from his father from ibn abu' Umayr from Hammad ibn 'Uthman from al-halabiy who has said the following: "Abu 'Abd Allah asws has said: Initiate Salat by raising your hands and by opening them, then saying three times, 'Allah azwj is great and then say, الل ه م أ ن ت ال م ل ك ا ل ق ل إ ل ه إ ل أ ن ت س ب ح ان ك إ ن ظ ل م ت ن ف س ي ف اغ ف ر ل ذ ن ب إ ن ه ل ي غ ف ر الذ ن وب إ ل أ ن ت ث ت ك ب ر ت ك ب ي ت ني ث ق ل ل ب ي ك و س ع د ي ك و ا ل ي ر ف ي د ي ك و الش ر ل ي س إ ل ي ك و ال م ه د ي م ن ه د ي ت ل م ل ج أ م ن ك إ ل إ ل ي ك س ب ح ان ك و ح ن ان ي ك ت ب ار ك ت و ت ع ال ي ت س ب ح ان ك ر ب ال ب ي ت ث ت ك ب ر ت ك ب ي ت ني ث ت ق ول و ج ه ت و ج ه ي ل ل ذ ي ف ط ر الس م او ات و ا ل ر ض ع ا ل ال غ ي ب و الش ه اد ة ح ن يفا م س ل ما و م ا أ ن ا م ن ال م ش ر ك ني إ ن ص ال ت و ن س ك ي و م ي اي و م ا ت ل ل ه ر ب ال ع ال م ني ل ش ر يك ل ه و ب ذ ل ك أ م ر ت و أ ن ا م ن ال م س ل م ني ث ت ع و ذ م ن الش ي ط ان الر ج يم. 'O Allah azwj, You are the True owner. No one other than You azwj Deserves to be worshipped. You azwj are Free of all defects. I have wronged myself so forgive my sins; no one other than You azwj is Able to forgive sins.' Then say two times, 'Allah azwj is Great.' Then say, '(O Allah azwj ), here I am to obey Your Command and I am pleading help from You azwj (to accomplish my duty); all good is in Your azwj Hands and evil has no way toward You azwj. Guided are those whom You azwj have Granted guidance. There is no place of refuge other 1 out of 11

2 than You azwj. You azwj are free of all defects and Compassionate, the most Blessed, the most High. You azwj are free of all defects and You are the Lord of the House.' Then say two times, 'Allah azwj is Great.' Then say. 'I have turned my face toward the One azwj who has Created the skies and the earth. You azwj have knowledge of the unseen and the seen. I am humble before and submitted to the will of Allah azwj and I am not one of the pagans. My Salat, my practices, my life and my death are all for the sake of Allah azwj, Cherisher of the worlds. He azwj has no partner. I am commanded to speak as such and I am from the Muslims.' Then seek refuge with Allah azwj against Satan, who is subject to stoning Then read al-fatihah." ث اق ر أ ف ا ت ة ال ك ت اب Invocations Before/After Salat: ث س ن ر س ول الل ه ) صلى اهلل عليه وآله ( الن و اف ل أ ر ب عا و ث ال ث ني ر ك ع ة م ث ل ي ال ف ر يض ة ف أ ج از الل ه ع ز و ج ل ل ه ذ ل ك و ال ف ر يض ة و الن اف ل ة إ ح د ى و خ س ون ر ك ع ة م ن ه ا ر ك ع ت ان ب ع د ال ع ت م ة ج ال سا ت ع د ب ر ك ع ة م ك ان ال و ت ر Then Rasool-Allah saww made a Sunnah of the optional (Salāt) of thirty four Cycles, twice the like of the Obligatory. So Allah azwj Mighty and Majestic Allowed that for him saww. And the Obligatory and the optional are fifty-one (51) Cycles (in 24 hours) from these are two Cycles after the (fall of) darkness, seated, counted as one Cycle in place of Al-Witr. 1 م م د ب ن ي ي ع ن أ ح د ب ن م م د ع ن ا ل س ني ب ن س ع يد ع ن الن ض ر ب ن س و ي د ع ن ي ي ا ل ل ب ع ن ا ل ار ث ب ن ال م غ ي ة ق ال ق ال أ ب و ع ب د الل ه ) عليه السالم ( أ ر ب ع ر ك ع ات ب ع د ال م غ ر ب ل ت د ع ه ن ف ح ض ر و ل س ف ر. Mohammed ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Mohammed from al-hussain ibn Sa'id from al-nadr ibn Suwayd from Yahya al-halabiy from al-harith ibn al-mughirah who has said: Abu 'Abd Allah asws has said: 'There are four Rakaat after al-maghrib. You must not omit them, regardless of being on a journey or while at home. 2 م م د ب ن ي ي ع ن أ ح د ب ن م م د ب ن ع يس ى ع ن ع ل ي ب ن الن ع م ان ع ن ب ع ض أ ص ح اب ه ع ن أ ب ع ب د الل ه ) عليه السالم ( ق ال ك ان أ م ي ال م ؤ م ن ني ) عليه السالم ( ي ق ول م ن ق ال ه ذ ا ال ق و ل ك ان م ع م م د و آل م م د إ ذ ا ق ام ق ب ل أ ن ي س ت ف ت ح الص ال ة Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhamad Bin Isa, from Ali Bin Al Nu man, from one of his companions, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws having said: It was so that Amir Al- Momineen asws was saying: The one who says these words would be with Muhammad saww and the Progeny asws of Muhammad saww, when he stands before beginning the Salat, 1 Al Kafi V 1 The Book Of Divine Authority CH 52 H 4 2 Al-Kafi, vol.3, section Salat 2 out of 11

3 ا لل ه م إ ن أ ت و ج ه إ ل ي ك ب ح م د و آل م م د و أ ق د م ه م ب ني ي د ي ص ال ت و أ ت ق ر ب ب م إ ل ي ك ف اج ع ل ن ب م و ج يها ف الد ن ي ا و ا ل خ ر ة و م ن ال م ق ر ب ني م ن ن ت ع ل ي ب ع ر ف ت ه م ف اخ ت م ل ب ط اع ت ه م و م ع ر ف ت ه م و و ل ي ت ه م ف إ ن ه ا ء ق د ير الس ع اد ة و اخ ت م ل ب ا ف إ ن ك ع ل ى ك ل ش ي O Allah azwj! I divert towards You azwj by Muhammad saww and the Progeny asws of Muhammad saww, and I asws advance them asws in front of me in my Salat, and I come closer by them asws to You azwj, therefore Make me, by them asws, to be dignified in the world and the Hereafter, and to be from the ones of Proximity. You azwj have Favoured upon me with their asws recognition, therefore Conclude me to be in their asws obedience, and their asws recognition, and their asws Wilayah, for it is the happiness, and Conclude me to be with it, for You azwj are Able upon everything. Then you should pray Salat. So when you finish, say, ث ت ص ل ي ف إ ذ ا ان ص ر ف ت ق ل ت. ا لل ه م اج ع ل ن م ع م م د و آل م م د ف ك ل ع اف ي ة و ب ال ء و اج ع ل ن م ع م م د و آل م م د ف ك ل م ث و ى و م ن ق ل ب ا لل ه م اج ع ل م ي اي م ي اه م و م ا ت م ات ه م و اج ع ل ن م ع ه م ف ال م و اط ن ك ل ه ا و ل ت ف ر ب ي ن و ب ي ن ه م إ ن ك ء ق د ير ع ل ى ك ل ش ي O Allah azwj! Make me to be with Muhammad saww and the Progeny asws of Muhammad saww in every well-being and affliction, and Make me to be with Muhammad saww and the Progeny asws of Muhammad saww in every lodgement and transfer. O Allah azwj! Make my life to be (like) their asws living, and my death to be (like) their asws passing away, and Make me to be with them asws in all the places, and not do Make a separation to be between me and them asws. You azwj are Able upon everything. 3 ع د ة م ن أ ص ح اب ن ا ع ن أ ح د ب ن م م د ب ن خ ال د ع ن ب ع ض أ ص ح اب ن ا ر ف ع ه ق ال ت ق ول ق ب ل د خ ول ك ف الص ال ة. 4 You should be saying before your entry into the Salat, ا لل ه م إ ن أ ق د م م م دا ن ب ي ك ) صلى اهلل عليه وآله ( ب ني ي د ي ح اج ت و أ ت و ج ه ب ه إ ل ي ك ف ط ل ب ت ف اج ع ل ن ب م و ج يها ف الد ن ي ا و ا ل خ ر ة و م ن ال م ق ر ب ني ا لل ه م اج ع ل ص ال ت ب م م ت ق ب ل ة و ذ ن ب ب م م غ ف ورا و د ع ائ ي ب م م س ت ج ابا ي ا أ ر ح م الر ا ح ني O Allah azwj! I give the lead to Muhammad saww Your azwj Prophet saww to be in front of my need, and I divert by him saww to You azwj regarding my seeking, therefore Make me to be dignified by them asws in the world and the Hereafter, and to be from the ones of Proximity. O Allah azwj! Make my Salat to be Acceptable due to them asws, and my sins to be Forgiven due to them asws, and my supplication to be Answered due to them asws, O Most Merciful of the merciful ones! 4 ع د ة م ن أ ص ح اب ن ا ع ن س ه ل ب ن ز ي اد ع ن ب ع ض أ ص ح اب ه ع ن م م د ب ن ال ف ر ج ق ال ك ت ب إ ل أ ب و ج ع ف ر اب ن الر ض ا ) عليه السالم ( ب ذ ا الد ع اء و ع ل م ن يه و ق ال م ن ق ال ف د ب ر ص ال ة ال ف ج ر ل ي ل ت م س ح اج ة إ ل ت ي س ر ت ل ه و ك ف اه الل ه م ا أ ه ه A number of our companions, from sahl Bin Ziyad, from one of our companions, from Muhammad Bin Al Faraj who said, Abu Ja far Ibn Al-Reza asws wrote to me with this supplication, and taught it and said: The one who says this at the end of Al-Fajr Salāt, would not seek a need except it would be Eased for him, and Allah azwj would Suffice him for what worries him ب س م الل ه و ب الل ه و ص ل ى الل ه ع ل ى م م د و آل ه و أ ف و ض أ م ر ي إ ل الل ه إ ن الل ه ب ص ي ب ال ع ب اد In the Name of Allah azwj, and by Allah azwj, and Salawāt be upon Muhammad saww and his saww Progeny asws, and I delegate my matters to Allah azwj, that Allah azwj is All-seeing with his servants. ف و ق اه الل ه س ي ئ ات م ا م ك ر وا ل إ ل ه إ ل أ ن ت س ب ح ان ك إ ن ك ن ت م ن الظ ال م ني ف اس ت ج ب ن ا ل ه و ن ي ن اه م ن ال غ م و ك ذ ل ك ن ن ج ي ال م ؤ م ن ني ح س ب ن ا الل ه و ن ع م ال و ك يل ف ان ق ل ب وا ب ن ع م ة م ن الل ه و ف ض ل ل ي س س ه م س وء 4 Al Kafi V 2 The Book Of Supplication CH 51 H 2 4 out of 11

5 [40:45] So Allah Saved him from the evil of what they planned [21:87] There is no god but You, Glory be to You; surely I am from the unjust ones [21:88] So We Answered him and Delivered him from the grief and thus do We Deliver the Believers [3:173] Allah is Sufficient for us and most excellent is the Protector [3:174] So they returned with Favour from Allah and (His) Grace, no evil touched them م ا ش اء الل ه ل ح و ل و ل ق و ة إ ل ب الل ه ال ع ل ي ال ع ظ يم م ا ش اء الل ه ل م ا ش اء الن اس م ا ش اء الل ه و إ ن ك ر ه الن اس ح س ب الر ب م ن ال م ر ب وب ني ح س ب ا ل ال ق م ن ال م خ ل وق ني ح س ب الر از م ن ال م ر ز وق ني ح س ب ال ذ ي ل ي ز ل ح س ب م ن ذ ق ط ح س ب الل ه ال ذ ي ل إ ل ه إ ل ه و ع ل ي ه ت و ك ل ت و ه و ر ب ال ع ر ش ال ع ظ يم Whatever Allah azwj so Desires. There is neither Might nor Strength except with Allah azwj, the Exalted, the Magnificent, not what the people desire. Whatever Allah azwj so Desires and even if the people dislike it. Sufficient for me is the Lord azwj from the lords. Sufficient for me is the Creator from the created beings. Sufficient for me is the Sustainer from the sustained beings. Sufficient for me is the One Who will not cease to be. Sufficient for me since ever. Sufficient for me is Allah azwj, Who, there is no god except Allah azwj. He azwj is upon Whom I rely, and He azwj is the Lord azwj of the Magnificent Throne. And he asws said: When you finish from the Prescribed Salāt, so say, و ق ال إ ذ ا ان ص ر ف ت م ن ص ال ة م ك ت وب ة ف ق ل ر ض يت ب الل ه ر ب ا و ب ح م د ن ب ي ا و ب ا ل س ال م د ينا و ب ال ق ر آن ك ت ابا و ب ف ال ن و ف ال ن أ ئ م ة الل ه م و ل ي ك ف ال ن ف اح ف ظ ه م ن ب ني ي د ي ه و م ن خ ل ف ه و ع ن ي ين ه و ع ن ش ال ه و م ن ف و ق ه و م ن ت ت ه و ام د د ل ه ف ع م ر ه و اج ع ل ه ال ق ائ م ب أ م ر ك و ال م ن ت ص ر ل د ين ك I am pleased with Allah azwj as Lord azwj, and with Muhammad saww as Prophet saww, and with Al- Islam as Religion, and with Al-Quran as a Book, and with so and so, and so and so as Imams asws. O Allah azwj! So and so is a Guardian asws of Yours azwj, therefore Protect him from in front of him asws, and from behind him asws, and from his asws right, and from his asws left, and from above him asws, and from beneath him asws, and Extend for him asws in his asws life-span, 5 out of 11

6 and Make him asws as the Rising One asws with Your azwj Command, and the helper for Your azwj Religion. و أ ر ه م ا ي ب و م ا ت ق ر ب ه ع ي ن ه ف ن ف س ه و ذ ر ي ت ه و ف أ ه ل ه و م ال ه و ف ش يع ت ه و ف ع د و ه و أ ر ه م م ن ه م ا ي ذ ر ون و أ ر ه ف يه م م ا ي ب و ت ق ر ب ه ع ي ن ه و اش ف ص د ور ن ا و ص د ور ق و م م ؤ م ن ني And Show him what he asws loves and what his asws eyes would be delighted with, in himself asws, and his asws offspring, and in his asws family, and his asws wealth, and in his asws Shias, and in his asws enemies, and Show them from him asws what they are bearing, and Show him asws in them what he asws loves, and what his asws eyes would be delighted with, and Heal our chests and the chests of the group of Momineen. ق ال و ك ان الن ب ) صلى اهلل عليه وآله ( ي ق ول إ ذ ا ف ر غ م ن ص ال ت ه He asws said: And the Prophet saww was saying whenever he saww was free from his saww Salāt: الل ه م اغ ف ر ل م ا ق د م ت و م ا أ خ ر ت و م ا أ س ر ر ت و م ا أ ع ل ن ت و إ س ر ا ف ع ل ى ن ف س ي و م ا أ ن ت أ ع ل م ب ه م ن الل ه م أ ن ت ال م ق د م و أ ن ت ال م ؤ خ ر ل إ ل ه إ ل أ ن ت ب ع ل م ك ال غ ي ب و ب ق د ر ت ك ع ل ى ا ل ل ق أ ج ع ني م ا ع ل م ت ا ل ي اة خ ي ا ل ف أ ح ي ن و ت و ف ن إ ذ ا ع ل م ت ال و ف اة خ ي ا ل O Allah azwj! Forgive for me saww the sins (of my saww Shias), whatever has preceded, and whatever is delayed, and whatever was in secret, and whatever was in public, and whatever was extravagance upon myself saww and what You azwj are more Knowing with than I saww am. O Allah azwj! You azwj are the Preceding One azwj and I saww are the following one. There is no god except for You azwj. You azwj, with Your azwj Knowledge of the unseen and by Your azwj Power upon Your azwj creatures in their entirety Know the life which is better for me saww, therefore Cause me saww to live and Cause me saww to die when You azwj Know of a (manner of) dying which is better for me saww. 6 out of 11

7 الل ه م إ ن أ س أ ل ك خ ش ي ت ك ف الس ر و ال ع ال ن ي ة و ك ل م ة ا ل ق ف ال غ ض ب و الر ض ا و ال ق ص د ف ال ف ق ر و ال غ ن و أ س أ ل ك ن ع يما ل ي ن ف د و ق ر ة ع ني ل ي ن ق ط ع و أ س أ ل ك الر ض ا ب ال ق ض اء و ب ر ك ة ال م و ت ب ع د ال ع ي ش و ب ر د ال ع ي ش ب ع د ال م و ت و ل ذ ة ال م ن ظ ر إ ل و ج ه ك و ش و قا إ ل ر ؤ ي ت ك و ل ق ائ ك م ن غ ي ض ر اء م ض ر ة و ل ف ت ن ة م ض ل ة O Allah azwj! I saww ask You azwj for being fearful of You azwj during the privacy and publicly, and of (speaking the) word of truth during the anger, and the pleasure, and the moderation during the poverty and the riches. And I saww ask You azwj of bliss which does not run out, and a delight of the eyes which does not get cut-off. And I saww ask You azwj of the pleasure with the Ordainment and Blessings of the death after the life, and the coolness of the life after the death, and the pleasure of the looking at Your azwj Face, and desire to see You azwj and meet You azwj, from without being harmed by a harm nor a misleading strife. الل ه م ز ي ن ا ب ز ين ة ا ل ي ان و اج ع ل ن ا ه د اة م ه د ي ني الل ه م اه د ن ا ف يم ن ه د ي ت الل ه م إ ن أ س أ ل ك ع ز ي ة الر ش اد و الث ب ات ف ا ل م ر و الر ش د و أ س أ ل ك ش ك ر ن ع م ت ك و ح س ن ع اف ي ت ك و أ د اء ح ق ك و أ س أ ل ك ي ا ر ب ق ل با س ل يما و ل س انا ص اد قا و أ س ت غ ف ر ك ل م ا ت ع ل م و أ س أ ل ك خ ي ر م ا ت ع ل م و أ ع وذ ب ك م ن ش ر م ا ت ع ل م ف إ ن ك ت ع ل م و ل ن ع ل م و أ ن ت ع ال م ال غ ي وب. O Allah azwj! Adorn us with the adornment of the Eman, and Make us to be calm Guided ones. O Allah azwj! Guide us to be among the ones You azwj Guided. O Allah azwj! I saww ask You azwj of the Determination of righteous reasoning, and the steadfastedness in the matters and the reasoning. And I saww ask You azwj for thanking for Your azwj Bounties, and goodness of Your azwj health, and paying Your azwj right. And I saww ask You azwj, O Lord azwj, for the sound heart, and a truthful tongue, and seeking Forgiveness to what You azwj Know of. And I saww ask You azwj of the best of what You azwj Know of and I saww seek Refuge with You azwj from the evil of what You azwj Know, for You azwj Know what we do not know, and You azwj are the Knower of the unseen. 5 5 Al Kafi V 2 The Book Of Supplication CH 52 H 6 7 out of 11

8 Invocation After Zohr Salāt: م م د ب ن ي ي ع ن أ ح د ب ن م م د ب ن ع يس ى ع ن أ ب ع ب د الل ه ال ب ر ق ي ع ن ع يس ى ب ن ع ب د الل ه ال ق م ي ع ن أ ب ع ب د الل ه ) عليه السالم ( ق ال ك ان أ م ي ال م ؤ م ن ني ) صلوات اهلل عليه ( ي ق ول إ ذ ا ف ر غ م ن الز و ال الل ه م إ ن أ ت ق ر ب إ ل ي ك ب ود ك و ك ر م ك و أ ت ق ر ب إ ل ي ك ب ح م د ع ب د ك و ر س ول ك و أ ت ق ر ب إ ل ي ك ب ال ئ ك ت ك ال م ق ر ب ني و أ ن ب ي ائ ك ال م ر س ل ني و ب ك Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Abu Abdullah Al Narqy, from Isa Bin Abdullah Al Qummy, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws having said: Amir Al-Momineen asws was saying whenever he asws was free from the noon time ( Zohr Salāt): O Allah azwj! I asws come closer to You azwj by Your azwj Generosity and Your azwj Benevolence, and I asws come closer to You azwj by Muhammad saww Your azwj servant and Your azwj Rasool saww, and I asws come closer to You azwj by Your azwj Angels of Proximity, and Your azwj Prophets as, the Mursileen, and By You azwj. الل ه م أ ن ت ال غ ن ع ن و ب ال ف اق ة إ ل ي ك أ ن ت ال غ ن و أ ن ا ال ف ق ي إ ل ي ك أ ق ل ت ن ع ث ر ت و س ت ر ت ع ل ي ذ ن و ب ف اق ض ل ال ي و م ح اج ت و ل ت ع ذ ب ن ب ق ب يح م ا ت ع ل م م ن ب ل ع ف و ك و ج ود ك ي س ع ن O Allah azwj! You azwj are the One Needless from me, and with me is the need (requirement) to You azwj. You azwj are the rich and I am the poor to You azwj. You azwj Discharge my traces (of errors), and Veil my sins upon me. So Fulfil my needs for me today and do not Punish me with ugliness what You azwj are more Knowing of than I am. But, Amplify upon me, Your azwj Pardon and Your azwj generosity. ق ال ث ي ر س اج دا و ي ق ول. He asws said: Then he asws would perform Sajdah and he asws would be saying: ي ا أ ه ل الت ق و ى و ي ا أ ه ل ال م غ ف ر ة ي ا ب ر ي ا ر ح يم أ ن ت أ ب ر ب م ن أ ب و أ م ي و م ن ج يع ا ل ال ئ ق اق ب ل ن ب ق ض اء ح اج ت م ابا د ع ائ ي م ر ح وما ص و ت ق د ك ش ف ت أ ن و اع ال ب ال ي ا ع ن O the One rightful to be feared, and O the One rightful for the Forgiveness, O Righteous, O Merciful! You azwj are more Righteous with me than my father and my mother, and from the 8 out of 11

9 entirety of the creatures. Accept me by Fulfilling my need by Answering my supplication, Merciful upon my voice as You azwj have Removed a variety of the afflictions from me. 6 ا ل س ني ب ن م م د ع ن أ ح د ب ن إ س ح ا ع ن س ع د ان ع ن س ع يد ب ن ي س ار ق ال ق ال أ ب و ع ب د الل ه ) عليه السالم ( إ ذ ا ص ل ي ت ال م غ ر ب ف أ م ر ي د ك ع ل ى ج ب ه ت ك و ق ل. ث ال ث م ر ات Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Ahmad Bin Is haq, from Sa dan, from Saeed Bin Yasaar who said, Abu Abdullah asws said: Whenever you prays Al-Maghrib Salāt, so pass your hand upon your face and say, ب س م الل ه ال ذ ي ل إ ل ه إ ل ه و ع ا ل ال غ ي ب و الش ه اد ة الر ح ن الر ح يم ا لل ه م أ ذ ه ب ع ن ا ل م و ال غ م و ا ل ز ن In the Name of Allah azwj Who, there is no god except Him, the Knower of the unseen and the seen, the Beneficent, the Merciful. O Allah azwj! Remove from me, the worries, and the gloom, and the grief, three times. 7 ع ن ه ع ن ع د ة م ن أ ص ح اب ن ا ر ف ع وه إ ل أ ب ع ب د الل ه ) عليه السالم ( ق ال ك ان م ن د ع اء أ ب ) عليه السالم ( ف ا ل م ر ي د ث الل ه م ص ل ع ل ى م م د و آل م م د و اغ ف ر ل و ار ح ن و ز ك ع م ل ي و ي س ر م ن ق ل ب و اه د ق ل ب و آم ن خ و ف و ع اف ن ف ع م ر ي ك ل ه و ث ب ت ح ج ت و اغ ف ر خ ط اي اي و ب ي ض و ج ه ي و اع ص م ن ف د ي ن و س ه ل م ط ل ب و و س ع ع ل ي ف ر ز ق ي ف إ ن ض ع يف و او ز ع ن س ي ئ م ا ع ن د ي ب س ن م ا ع ن د ك و ل ت ف ج ع ن ب ن ف س ي و ل ت ف ج ع ل ح يما From him, from a number of our companions, (It has been narrated) raising it to Abu Abdullah asws having said: It was from the supplications of my asws father asws regarding the newly-occurring matters: O Allah azwj! Send Salawāt upon Muhammad saww and the Progeny asws of Muhammad saww, and Forgive (my sins) for me, and Be Merciful to me, and Purify my deeds, and Ease my return, and Guide my heart, and Secure my fear, and Grant me good health in my life-time, all of it, and Affirm my proofs, and Forgive my mistakes, and Whiten my face, and Safeguard me in my Religion, and Ease my seeking (for livelihood), and Expand upon me regarding my sustenance for I am weak, and Overlook from my evil deeds what are with me by the Goodness with what is with You azwj, and do not Grieve me for myself nor Grieve me for my intimate friends. و ه ب ل ي ا إ ل ي ل ظ ة م ن ل ظ ات ك ت ك ش ف ب ا ع ن ج يع م ا ب ه اب ت ل ي ت ن و ت ر د ب ا ع ل ي م ا ه و أ ح س ن ع اد ات ك ع ن د ي ف ق د ض ع ف ت ق و ت و ق ل ت ح يل ت و ان ق ط ع م ن خ ل ق ك ر ج ائ ي و ل ي ب ق إ ل ر ج اؤ ك و ت و ك ل ي ع ل ي ك و ق د ر ت ك ع ل ي (الكافي (ط - اإلسالمية( ج 2 ص: ( Al Kafi V 2 The Book Of Supplication CH 52 H 7 Al Kafi V 2 The Book Of Supplication CH 52 H 10 9 out of 11

10 And Grant me, O my God, an opportunity from Your azwj Opportunities Removing with it from me the entirety of what I am afflicted with, and Return upon me what is better Ways with me, for my strength has weakened, and my reasons are scarce, and my hopes from You azwj creatures are cut off, and there does not remain except hoping in You azwj, and reliance upon You azwj and Your azwj Power upon me. ي ا ر ب أ ن ت ر ح ن و ت ع اف ي ن ك ق د ر ت ك ع ل ي أ ن ت ع ذ ب ن و ت ب ت ل ي ن إ ل ي ذ ك ر ع و ائ د ك ي ؤ ن س ن و الر ج اء ل ن ع ام ك ي ق و ي ن و ل أ خ ل م ن ن ع م ك م ن ذ خ ل ق ت ن و أ ن ت ر ب و س ي د ي و م ف ز ع ي و م ل ج ئ ي و ا ل اف ظ ل و الذ اب ع ن و الر ح يم ب و ال م ت ك ف ل ب ر ز ق ي O Lord azwj! If You azwj are Merciful to me and Grant good health to me, is like Your azwj Power upon me if You azwj were to Punish me and Afflict me. My God! Mentioning Your azwj Rewards comforts me, and the hoping for Your azwj Bounties strengthens me, and I have not been isolated from Your azwj Bounties since the day You azwj Created me, and You azwj are my Lord azwj, and my Master, and my Defender, and my Shelter, and the Protector for me, and the Lenient to me, and the Merciful with me, and the Guarantor of my sustenance. و ف ق ض ائ ك و ق د ر ت ك ك ل م ا أ ن ا ف يه ف ل ي ك ن ي ا س ي د ي و م و ل ي ف يم ا ق ض ي ت و ق د ر ت و ح ت م ت ت ع ج يل خ ال ص ي م ا أ ن ا ف يه ج يع ه و ال ع اف ي ة ل ف إ ن ل أ ج د ل د ف ع ذ ل ك أ ح دا غ ي ر ك و ل أ ع ت م د ف يه إ ل ع ل ي ك And in Your azwj Ordainment and Your azwj Power is everything what I am in, therefore let it happen to be, O my Chief and my Master, regarding what You azwj Judge, and You azwj Ordain, and You azwj Finalise, hasten my finishing from what I am in, the entirety of it, and the good health for me, for I cannot find anyone to repel that apart from You azwj, nor do I rely with regards to it upon anyone except You azwj. ف ك ن ي ا ذ ا ا ل ال ل و ا ل ك ر ام ع ن د أ ح س ن ظ ن ب ك و ر ج ائ ي ل ك و ار ح م ت ض ر ع ي و اس ت ك ان ت و ض ع ف ر ك ن و ام ن ن ب ذ ل ك ع ل ي و ع ل ى ك ل د اع د ع اك ي ا أ ر ح م الر ا ح ني و ص ل ى الل ه ع ل ى م م د و آل ه. Therefore be, O the One with the Majesty and the Benevolence, during the goodness of my thoughts with You azwj, my hope for you, and be Merciful on my desperation and my dependence, and the weakness of my (body) parts, and Favour with that upon me and upon every illness, Your azwj Cure, O Most Merciful of the merciful ones, and Send Salawāt upon Muhammads aww and his saww Progeny asws. 8 ع ل ي ب ن إ ب ر اه يم ع ن أ ب يه ع ن اب ن أ ب ع م ي ع ن م م د ب ن أ ع ني ع ن ب ش ر ب ن م س ل م ة ع ن أ ب ع ب د الل ه ) عليه السالم ( ق ال ك ان ع ل ي ب ن ا ل س ني ) عليه السالم ( ي ق ول م ا أ ب ا ل إ ذ ا ق ل ت ه ذ ه ال ك ل م ات ل و اج ت م ع ع ل ي ا ل ن س و ا ل ن Ali Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Muhammad Bin Ayn, from Bishr Bin Maslama, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws having said: Ali asws Bin Al-Husayn asws was saying: I asws don t care, when I asws say these words, if (all) the human beings and the Jinn were to gather against me asws : 8 Al Kafi V 2 The Book Of Supplication CH 55 H 8 10 out of 11

To You azwj I submit myself, and to You azwj I divert my face, and to You azwj I seek my backing, and to You azwj I delegate my affairs. O Allah azwj! Protect me by the protection of the Eman from in front of me, and from behind me, and from my right, and from my left, and from above me, and from beneath me, and from my face, and Repel from me by Your azwj Might and Your azwj Strength, for there is neither Mighty nor Strength except with You azwj. م م د ب ن ي ي ع ن أ ح د ب ن م م د ب ن ع يس ى ع ن اب ن أ ب ع م ي م ث ل ه.
