2 FIRST LEG: Offshore route Montenegro Turkey in Simple Sail Adriatic Team The length of the route 750 nautical miles. During the trip you can complete IYT Yachtmaster Coastal course. This course is recommended for those who wants to gain additional experience and knowledge, to open more remote water areas by yourself, not limited to coastal trips in calm weather and daylight. Short course outline: Practical: Navigation instruments and chart works Recognition of distance, speed, time and direction Magnetic compass Ways of observation and position recognition Maneuvering and controlling the vessel in narrows and currents Pilotage and passage planning COLREGs (The International Regulation for Preventing Collisions at Sea) Short range radio communication rules (optional as separate course) Theory: Electronic navigation aids Safety at sea Survival at sea Anchors and anchoring Tides and currents Safety checks Good seamanship Captain's duties and responsibility Navigation Meteorology Price for Yachtmaster Coastal course: 1500 Berth in double cabine Certificates and logbook Study materials (in electronic formats) Moorings, port and channel fees Final test *If you want to join without Yachtmaster course price is 980 only
3 SECOND LEG: 29-th Marmaris International Race Week One of the most popular regattas in Mediterranean. Annual 160 yachts participate. Both professionals and amateurs. Two classes: IRC and IRC Charter for chartered boats. In each class there are several divisions that are ranked based on the IRC rating. In 2018, there will be competition on five distances: four triangles in Marmaris gulf and an offshore 24 hours race. The daily start at 9:00. Return to Netsel marina at 15:00, and for offshore distance - late evening, and possibly the morning of the next day - depending on weather conditions. In the evenings prize giving awards, dinner and drinks. Netsel marina is an hour's drive from Dalaman Airport, Turkey. 4 THIRD LEG: Göcek Race Week - 10th of November Atatürk Cup Göcek Yacht Club holds two big regattas every year. Autumn is a test of the changing November weather in Fethiye gulf. Four short tactical 10-miles races. Similarly, MIRW - two classes of participants IRC Charter and IRC. In each class, divisions ranked according to the IRC-rating. To participate in this race allowed no more than 70 yachts. Two days of team training near the island of the same name, and then the race. Every day starts at 9:00, return to the marina, usually after 15:00 - depending on weather conditions. Excellent company and good mood are guaranteed. Marina Göcek is located near the airport of Dalaman, Turkey, just 20 min away. This course is for those who want to become a professional yachtsman and independently master the seas far away from the shore.
