4 K A T S U In 2011 the Reichel Pugh 45 was named Sailing World's 'Boat of The Yearʼ and has all it takes to win regattas. The hull, deck and interior furniture are vacuum bagged EGlass/ epoxy/ foam core composite with carbon reinforcement. The RP45 boasts a Southern Spars carbon Grand Prix boom and mast and carbon fibre mould bow sprit. Katsu offers a great opportunity to any team looking to charter a Grand Prix racing yacht in the Mediterranean this summer or Caribbean next winter. Katsu enjoyed a 6 week refit at Berthon in Lymington this winter; with all rigging checked, engine fully serviced, rudder bearing replaced, keel off and checked, hull respray and a new kiwi grip deck. This work plus 4 new sails means Katsu is ready for the season ahead! Lucy's passion has always been for racing and she enjoys developing the skills of the crews that race with her. Lucy started in the sailing industry owning and running Northern Child, a Swan 51, for racing and cruising charters in the UK and Caribbean which developed into Performance Yacht Charters offering worldwide race charter packages. Lucy has since expanded this into FAST40+ Charters offering racing events on the newest fastest 40ft race boats.
