Verily in it there are great Signs for everyone who is patient and gives thanks (to Allah). 3 Page 2 of 39 Then We said, "O Adam, you and your wife, both dwell in the Garden and eat both of you freely with pleasure and delight of things therein where from you will, but do not go near this tree; otherwise you shall become transgressors." After a time Satan tempted them with that tree to disobey Our Command and brought them out of the state they were in, and We decreed, "Now, go down all of you from here; you are enemies of one another and there is for you in the earth an abode and a provision for a time." At that time Adam learnt appropriate words from his Lord and repented, and his Lord accepted his repentance, for He is Oft-Returning with compassion and very Merciful. We said: "Get down all of you from this place (the Paradise), then whenever there comes to you Guidance from Me, and whoever follows My Guidance, there shall be no fear on them, nor shall they grieve. Then if there comes to you guidance from Me, then whosoever follows My guidance shall neither go astray nor fall into distress and misery. But whosoever turns away from this Admonition from Me shall have a straitened life, and We shall raise him up blind on the Day of Resurrection, where-upon he will say: "O my Lord! Why have You raised me up blind while I had sight in the world? "Allah will say: "Like this Our Signs came to you and you ignored them. So shall you be ignored this Day". 4 Page 3 of 39 Allah never destroyed any town unless its habitants were iniquitous. ۰۰۵۹ { وا ما ن كيكل ه مى ر ق لاا لا وا ه ل ه ا ن و مل ظ 53} 22 - سورة القصص We never destroyed the towns unless its inhabitants were iniquitous. { 12} 22 - سورة احلج ۰۰۴۸ و ي لا يص م لان ١ و ن ي ا ك ن م ة ي ر ق ت ي ل م اا ه ل و يه ة ملا ظ م ثا ه ت ذ خ ا How many towns did I respite at first though they were steeped in iniquity, and then I seized them! To Me are all destined to return. { } 41 - سورة النحل و ب ر ض ه للاا ل ث م ة ي ر ق ت نا ك ة نم ا ا ي ة ن ى ق زر ا ه يد غ ر ا ها د غ ر ن ما ك مف ك ف ن اب ت رم ع و د ق ل م ه ء ا ج ل و س ر م ه ن م ه و ب ذ ك ف ۰۰۱۱۲ ه للاا ه قا ذ ا ف ه للا سا بلع و ج لا وف و خ لاا مبا و نا ك ن و ع ن ص ي ۰۰۱۱۳ م ه ذ خ ا ف با ذ ع لا و م ه ن و مل ظ Allah sets forth the parable of (the people of) a town who were secure and well content and whose sustenance came in abundance from every quarter. But then the people of the town showed ingratitude towards Allah for His bounties, so Allah afflicted them with hunger and fear in punishment for their evil deeds. Most certainly a Messenger came to them from among them; but they rejected him, calling him a liar. Therefore chastisement seized them while they engaged in wrong-doing. { 53} 42 - سورة الكهف ۰۰۵۹ و ك لتى ر ق لا م ه ن ك ل ه اا م لا و م ل ظ وا ن ل ع ج مهكل ه مل دع و من And these towns - We destroyed them when they committed iniquities. 5 Page 4 of 39 Before destroying the iniquitous habitations, Allah sent warners to admonish them. { } 21 - سورة الشعراء ۰۰۲۰۹ وا ما ن ك ن يمل ظ ١ ى ر كذ ٥ ۰۰۲۰۸ و ا ما ن ك ل ه ا نم ة ي ر قا لاا ه ل ن و رذ ن م We never destroyed any habitation but that it had warners to admonish them. We have never been unjust. { 53} 22 - سورة القصص وا ما ن كيكل ه م ١ وا م نا ك ك ب ر كل ه مى ر ق لاى ت ح ث ع ب ي يفا ه م اا ل و س را و ل ت ي مه ي ل عا نت ي ا ۰۰۵۹ ى ر ق لاا لا وا ه ل ه ا ن و مل ظ Your Lord would not destroy a town until He had sent to its centre a Messenger who would recite to them Our verses. Nor would We destroy any town unless its inhabitants were iniquitous. ۰۰۱۵ { وا ما ن ك ن يب ذ ع مى ت ح ث ع ب نا ل و س ر 45} 41 - سورة اإلسراء And never do We punish any people until We send a Messenger (to make the Truth distinct from falsehood). But the unbelievers resort to falsehood in order to rebut the truth with it, and scoff at My revelations and My warnings. 6 Page 5 of 39 Response of wealthy and affluent people to the prophets' call { 45-41} 41 - سورة سبأ وا و لا ق ن ح ن ۰۰۳۴ ا نا ا مب م ت لس ر ا هب ن و رف ك ١ و ا ما ن ل س ر ا يف ة ي ر ق ن م ر يذ ا لا لا ق ا ه و ف ر ت ۰۰۳۵ وا م ن ح ن ن يب ذ ع مب ١ ر ث ك اا لا و م ا وا دا ل و ا We never sent a warner to any town but its wealthy ones said: We disbelieve in the Message you have brought." They always said: We have more wealth and children than you have, and we shall not be chastised. { 25-22} 14 - سورة الزخرف و كل ذ ك ا م ا ن ل س ر ا نم ۰۰۲۲ ل ب ا و لا ق ا نا ا ن د ج و ا ن ء ا ب ا ى ل ع ة م ا و ا نا ى ل ع مهر ث ا ن و د ت ه م ا نا ا ن د ج و ا ن ء ا ب ا ى ل ع ة م ا و ا نا ى ل ع مهر ث ا ١ كل ب ق يف ة ي ر ق ن م ر يذ ا لا لا ق ا ه و ف ر ت ا و لا قا نا ا مب م ت لس ر ا هب ١ ل ق و ا و ل م ك ت ئجى د ه ابا مم م ت د ج وه ي ل ع م ك ء ا ب ا ۰۰۲۳ ن و د ت ق م ۰۰۲۵ ن يب ذ ك م لاة ن ا ن م ق ت نا ف م ه نم ر ظ نا ف ف ي ك نا ك ة بقا ع ۰۰۲۴ ن و رف ك Nay; they simply claim: We found our forefathers on a way, and we continue to find guidance in their footsteps." And thus it is: whenever We sent any warner to a city its affluent ones said: We found our forefathers on a way and we continue to follow in their footsteps." Each Prophet asked them: Will you do so even if we were to show you a way better than the way of your forefathers? They answered: We disbelieve in the religion with which you have been sent." Initially I granted respite to the unbelievers for a while and then seized them. How dreadful was My punishment!how many towns have We destroyed because their people were steeped in iniquity: so they lie fallen down upon their turrets! How many wells lie deserted; and how many towering palaces lie in ruins! Have they not journeyed in the land that their hearts might understand and their ears might listen? For indeed it is not the eyes that are blinded; it is rather the hearts in the breasts that are rendered blind. They ask you to hasten the punishment. Allah shall most certainly not fail His promise; but a Day with your Lord is as a thousand years of your reckoning. 8 Page 7 of 39 { 41} 1 - سورة األنعام و ا ل ل د ب م ١ و د ق ل ت ب ذ ك ل س ر ن م كل ب ق ا و ر ب ص ف ى ل ع ا م ا و ب ذ ك و ا و ذ و ا ى ت ح م هى ت ا ا ن ر ص ن ۰۰۳۴ و د ق ل ك ء ا ج نميا ب ن ن يل س ر م لا ١ ت مل كله للا Messengers before you have been rejected, and they endured with patience their rejection and persecution until the time when Our help reached them. None has the power to alter the words of Allah. Indeed some news of the Messengers have already reached you. { 44} 11 - سورة حممد ۰۰۱۳ م ه ن ك ل ه اا ل ف رصا ن م ه ل ١ و ن ي ا ك ن م ة ي ر ق يه د ش ا ة و ق ن م كت ي ر ق يت لا ك ت ج ر خ ا )O Prophet), how many are the cities that had greater power than your city that drove you out? We destroyed them and there was none to protect them. { 52-54} 12 - سورة غافر م و ي ا ل ع ف ن ي ۰۰۵۱ ا نا ر ص ن ن ل ا ن ل س ر و ن يذ لا ا و ن م ا يف ةو ي ح لا ا ي ن دلا و م و ي م و ق ي ا ه ش ا لاد ۰۰۵۲ ن يمل ظلا م ه ت رذ ع م و م ه ل ة ن ع للا و م ه ل ء و سرا دلا Surely We will help Our Messengers and the believers in the life of this world and on the Day when witnesses will rise to testify, the Day when the excuses offered by the wrong-doers shall not avail them. 9 Page 8 of 39 So let not the strutting about of the unbelievers in the land delude you. { 1-1} 12 - سورة غافر ت ب ذ ك م ه ل ب ق م و ق ح و ن و ۰۰۴ ا م لدا ج ي يفت ي اه للاا لا ن يذ لاا و ر ف كا ل ف ك ر ر غ ي م ه ب ل ق تيفدا لب لا و ت م ه ل ك ة م ا مهل و س رب ه و ذ خ ا يل وا و ل د جلطا ب لابا و ضح د يلهب ق ح لا ١ با ز ح ا لا نم مهد ع ب و كل ذ ك ت ق ح ت مل ك ك ب ر ى ل ع ن يذ لا ا و ر ف ك م ه ن ا ب ح ص ا ۰۰۵ ف ي ك ف نا ك با قع ١ م ه ت ذ خ ا ف ۰۰۶ را نلا None but the unbelievers dispute regarding the Signs of Allah. So let not their strutting about in the land delude you. Before them the people of Noah also denied, and so did many parties after them. Each nation sallied forth against its Messenger to seize him, and they disputed with false arguments seeking therewith to repudiate the Truth. Then I seized them; and behold, how woeful was My retribution! Thus has the decree of your Lord become due against the unbelievers. They are destined for the Fire. Granting respite before chastisement { 14} 41- سورة النحل ١ و و ل ذخا ؤ ي ه للا سا نلا مهم ل ظبا م ك ر تا ه ي ل ع نم ة ب ا د و نك ل م ه ر خ ؤ يى لا ل ج اى م س م ۰۰۶۱ ا ذا ف ء ا ج م ه ل ج اا لن و رخ ا ت س ية ة عا س وا ل و مد ق ت س ية Were Allah to take people to task for their wrong-doing, He would not have spared even a single living creature on the face of the earth. But He grants them respite until an appointed term. And when that term arrives, they have no power to delay it by a single moment, nor to hasten it. How many a generation have We destroyed before them, who were more imposing in respect of gear and outward seeming!say: As for him who is in error, the Beneficent will extend (the rope) to him, until, when they behold that which they were promised, whether it be punishment (in the world), or the Hour (of doom), they will know who is worse in position and who is weaker as an army.allah increases in right guidance those who walk aright, and the good deeds which endure are better in your Lord s sight for reward, and better for resort. { } 1 - سورة األعراف ۰۰۱۸۳ نا يد ي ك ن يت م ١ و يل م ا م ه ل ۰۰۱۸۲ ن و م ل ع ي و ن يذ لاا و ب ذ كا نت ي اب م ه جر د ت س ن س ن م ث ي حا ل As for those who reject Our signs as false, We shall lead them, step by step, to their ruin without their even perceiving it. 11 Page 10 of 39 { 42-44} 44 - سورة الرعد وا ل لا ز ي ن يذ لاا و ر ف ك م ه ب يص تا مبا و ع ن ص ة عرا ق و ا ل ح تا ب ير ق ن م مهرا دى ت ح يت ا ي د ع و و د ق ل ئز ه ت سا ل س رب ن م كل ب ق ت ي ل م ا ف ن يذ لل ا و ر ف ك م ث ۰۰۳۱ نا ه للا ا ل فل خ ي ا ع يم لان ١ ه للا ۰۰۳۲ ف ي ك ف نا كبا قع ١ م ه ت ذ خ ا Misfortune continues to afflict the unbelievers on account of their misdeeds, or to befall on locations close to their habitation. This will continue until Allah's promise (of chastisement) is fulfilled. Indeed Allah does not go back upon His promise. Surely the Messengers before you were ridiculed, but I always initially granted respite to those who disbelieved, and then I seized them (with chastisement). Then, how awesome was My chastisement! { } 4 - سورة آل عمران د ير ي ه للاا ل ا ل ع ج ي م ه لا ظ ح ١ م ه نا ن لاو ر ض ي ه للاا ـ ي ش ١ وا ل ك ن ز ح ي ن يذ لا ن و عرا س ييفر ف ك لا و م ه ل ١ نا ن يذ لاا و ر ت شا ر ف ك ل نا م يا لا ن لاو ر ض ي ه للاا ـ ي ش ۰۰۱۷۶ و م ه ل با ذ ع م يظ ع ١ يفة رخ ا لا ا م نا يل م ن م ه لا و دا د ز يل ١ وا ل ن ب س ح ي ن يذ لاا و ر ف كا م ن ا يل م ن م ه ل ر ي خ مهس ف ن ا ل ۰۰۱۷۷ با ذ ع م يل ا ۰۰۱۷۸ و م ه ل با ذ ع ن يه م ١ ا م ثا Let not those who run towards disbelief grieve you; they shall not hurt Allah in the least. Allah will not provide for them any share in the Next Life. A mighty punishment awaits them. Indeed those who have purchased unbelief in exchange for faith shall not hurt Allah in the least. Theirs shall be a painful chastisement.do not let the, unbelievers imagine that the respite We give them is good for them. We give them respite so that they may grow in wickedness. But when a warner came to them, his coming only increased their aversion (to the Truth). They began to wax even more proud on earth and contrived evil plans although the contriving of evil plans only overtakes their authors. Are they waiting, then, for anything except what happened to the nations before them? You shall not find any change in the Way of Allah; and you shall not find anything that can ever alter the Way of Allah. Have they not journeyed in the earth to behold the end of those who went before them though they were stronger than them in might? Nothing in the heavens nor on earth can frustrate Him in the least. He is All-Knowing, All-Powerful. If Allah were to take people to task for their deeds, He would not leave any living creature on earth, but He grants them respite to an appointed time. They schemed and Allah did also scheme. Allah is the best of those who scheme. { 424} 1 - سورة األنعام ۰۰۲۳ وا م ن و ر ك م يا لا مهس ف ن اب وا م ن و ر ع ش يم ١ و كل ذ كا ن ل ع ج يفا ك م ة ي ر ق رب ك اا ه يمر ج ما و ر ك م يلا ه يف Thus We have appointed the leaders of the wicked ones in every land to weave their plots; but in truth they plot only to their own harm, without even realizing it. { 12-14} 44 - سورة الرعد و د ق ر ك م ن يذ لا نم مهل ب ق ۰۰۴۱ و و ه ع ير سبا سح لا ١ و ه للا م ك ح يا ل ب ق ع م هم ك حل ۰۰۴۲ و م ل ع ي س ر ف ك لا ن ملى ب ق عرا دلا ١ م ل ع يا م بس ك ت ل ك س ف ن ١ ه لل ف ر ك م لاا ع يم ج Allah commands, and no one has the power to reverse His Command. He is swift in reckoning. Those who lived before them also devised many a plot, but the master plot rests with Allah. He knows what everyone does. 15 Page 14 of 39 Then they schemed (against the Messiah), and Allah countered their schemes by schemes of His own. Allah is the best of schemers. { 33-31} 1 - سورة األعراف و ا نم ا ل ه اى ر ق لا ن ا م ه يت ا ي ۰۰۹۷ نم ا ف ا ل ه اى ر ق لا ن ا م ه يت ا يا ن س ا با تا ي ب و م ه و م ى ا نن ۰۰۹۹ ا ل ف ن م ا ي ر ك مه للاا لا م و ق لا و رس خ لان ١ ا و نم ا ف ا ر ك مه للا ۰۰۹۸ ا ن س ا بى ح ض و م ه ن و ب ع ل ي Do the people of the towns feel secure that Our punishment will not come to them at night while they are asleep? Or, do the people of the towns feel secure that Our punishment will not come to them by daylight while they are at play? Do they feel secure against the scheme of Allah None can feel secure against the scheme of Allah except the utter losers. And these iniquitous towns, we destroyed them { 53} 42 - سورة الكهف ۰۰۵۹ و ك لتى ر ق لا م ه ن ك ل ه اا م لا و م ل ظ وا ن ل ع ج مهكل ه مل دع و من And these towns - We destroyed them when they committed iniquities. 16 Page 15 of 39 And We did indeed send Messengers to other nations before you and then We seized those nations with misfortune and hardship so that they might humble themselves (before Us). But when misfortune befell them from Us why did they not humble themselves? Their hearts had hardened and Satan had made their deeds seem fair to them. So, when they forgot what they had been reminded of, We opened the gates of all things so that while they rejoiced in what they had been granted We seized them suddenly and they were plunged into utter despair. Thus the last remnant of those wrongdoing people was cut off. Did they not see that Allah, Who created them, is greater in strength than them? They continued to deny Our Signs, whereupon We sent upon them a fierce wind on inauspicious days that We might make them taste a disgracing torment in the life of this world. 17 Page 16 of 39 As for Thamud, We bestowed guidance upon them, but they preferred to remain blind rather than be guided. At last a humiliating scourge overtook them on account of their misdeeds. But they obeyed the command of Pharaoh even though Pharaoh's command was not rightly-directed. He will go ahead of his people on the Day of Resurrection, and will lead them into the Fire. What a wretched destination to be led to! They were pursued by a curse in this world and so will they be on the Day of Resurrection. What an evil reward will they receive! That is an account of some towns which We narrate to you. Of them some are still standing and some have been mown down. And when the command of your Lord came to pass, the gods besides Allah whom they had called upon, did not avail them in the least. They added nothing to them except ruin. Such is the seizing of your Lord that when He does seize the towns immersed in wrong-doing, His seizing is painful, terrible. Surely in that is a sign for him who fears the chastisement of the Hereafter. That will be a Day when all men shall be mustered together; that will be a Day when whatever happens will be witnessed by all. Nor shall We withhold it except till an appointed term. { 25-22} 12 - سورة غافر ا و نا ك ر ث ك ا م ه نم و ١ م ل ف اا و ر يس ييفض ر ا لاا و ر ظ ن ي ف ف ي ك نا ك ة بقا ع ن يذ لا نم مهل ب ق ا م ل ف م ه ت ء ا ج م ه ل س ر ۰۰۸۲ د ش ا ة و ق و ا را ث ا يف ض ر ا لا ا م ف ى ن غ ا م ه ن ع ا م ا و نا ك و بس ك ي ا م ل فا و ا را ن س ا ب ۰۰۸۳ ت ن ي ب لابا و حر فا مب م ه د نع ن مم لع لا و قا ح مهبا ما و نا ك هب و ءز ه ت س ية م ل ف ك ي م ه ع ف ن ي م ه نا م ياا م لا و ا ر ۰۰۸۴ ا و لا قا ن م اه للاب ه د ح و وا ن ر ف كا مبا ن ك هب ن يكر ش م ۰۰۸۵ و رس خ كلا ن ه و رف ك لان ١ ت ن سه للا يت لا د ق ت ل خ يف هدا بع ١ ا ن س ا ب Have they not travelled in the land and seen what was the end of those who had gone before them? They were more numerous and greater in strength and left behind more splendid traces in the land. Yet their attainments did not avail them. When their Messengers came to them with Clear Signs, they arrogantly exulted in whatever knowledge they had. They were then encompassed by what they had mocked. 19 Page 18 of 39 in His Divinity)". But their believing after they had seen Our chastisement did not avail them. That has been Allah's Way concerning His servants. And the unbelievers courted utter loss, then and there. { } 41 - سورة النحل و ب ر ض ه للاا ل ث م ة ي ر ق ت نا ك ة نم ا ا ي ة ن ى ق زر ا ه يد غ ر ا ها د غ ر ن ما ك مف ك ف ن اب ت رم ع و د ق ل م ه ء ا ج ل و س ر م ه ن م ه و ب ذ ك ف ۰۰۱۱۲ ه للاا ه قا ذ ا ف ه للا سا بلع و ج لا وف و خ لاا مبا و نا ك ن و ع ن ص ي ۰۰۱۱۳ م ه ذ خ ا ف با ذ ع لا و م ه ن و مل ظ Allah sets forth the parable of (the people of) a town who were secure and well content and whose sustenance came in abundance from every quarter. But then the people of the town showed ingratitude towards Allah for His bounties, so Allah afflicted them with hunger and fear in punishment for their evil deeds. Most certainly a Messenger came to them from among them; but they rejected him, calling him a liar. Therefore chastisement seized them while they engaged in wrong-doing. { 53-52} 22 - سورة القصص وا ن ك ١ ك لت ف م ه نك س م م ل ن ك س ت ن م مهد ع با لاا ل يل ق ١ و م كا ن ك ل ه ا نم ة ي ر ق ت رط با ه ت ش يع م وا م ١ وا م نا ك ك ب ر كل ه مى ر ق لاى ت ح ث ع ب ي يفا ه م اا ل و س را و ل ت ي مه ي ل عا نت ي ا ۰۰۵۸ ن ح ن ن يثر و لا ۰۰۵۹ ا ن كيكل ه مى ر ق لاا لا وا ه ل ه ا ن و مل ظ And how many a town have We destroyed whose inhabitants exulted on account of their affluence. 20 Page 19 of 39 Your Lord would not destroy a town until He had sent to its centre a Messenger who would recite to them Our verses. Nor would We destroy any town unless its inhabitants were iniquitous. { 41-45} 41 - سورة اإلسراء و ا م ا ن ك ١ و ا ل رز ت ة رزا و ر ز و ى ر خ ا ١ و ن م ل ض ا م نا ف لض ي ا ه ي ل ع ١ ن م ى د ت ها ا م نا ف يد ت ه ي هس ف نل و ا ذا ا ن د ر ا ن ا كل ه ن ة ي ر قا ن ر م اا ه يف ر ت ما و ق س ف فا ه يف ق ح فا ه ي ل ع ل و ق لا ۰۰۱۵ ن يب ذ ع مى ت ح ث ع ب نا ل و س ر ۰۰۱۷ وى ف ك ك ب ربب و ن ذب هدا بعا ر يب خا ر يص ب ١ و م كا ن ك ل ه ا نمن و ر ق لا نمد ع ب ح و ن ۰۰۱۶ ا ه ن ر م د فا ر يم د ت He who follows the Right Way will do so to his own advantage; and he who strays will incur his own loss. No one will bear another's burden. And never do We punish any people until We send a Messenger (to make the Truth distinct from falsehood). When We decide to destroy a town We command the affluent among them, whereupon they commit sins in it, then the decree (of chastisement) becomes due against them and thereafter We destroy that town utterly. Many a generation has been destroyed by Our command since Noah's time. Then We changed adversity into ease until they throve and said: 'Our forefathers had also seen both adversity and prosperity.' So We suddenly seized them without their even perceiving it. Had the people of those towns believed and been God-fearing, We would certainly have opened up to them blessings from the heavens and the earth; but they rejected [their Prophets] and so We seized them for their deeds. So, do the people of the towns feel secure that Our punishment will not come to them at night while they are asleep? Or, do the people of the towns feel secure that Our punishment will not come to them by daylight while they are at play? Do they feel secure against the Plan of Allah None can feel secure against the Plan of Allah except the people who are the utter losers. Has it not, then, become plain to those who have inherited the earth in the wake of the former generations that, had We so willed, We could have afflicted them for their sins, (they, however, are heedless to basic facts and so) We seal their hearts so that they hear nothing. To those [earlier] communities - some of whose stories We relate to you - there had indeed come Messengers with clear proofs, but they would not believe what they had once rejected as false. Thus it is that Allah seals the hearts of those who deny the truth. We did not find most of them true to their covenants; indeed We found most of them transgressors. 22 Page 21 of 39 And on the Day of Judgment they will bear witness against themselves { } 1 - سورة األنعام و لا ق م ه ؤ يل و ا ن م ١ ر ش ع م ي نج لاد ق م ت ر ث ك ت سا ن مس نا لا ١ و م و ي م ه ر ش ح يا ع يم ج لا ق را نلا م كى و ث م ١ س نا لا ا ن ب ر ع ت م ت سا ا ن ض ع ب ض ع بب و ا ن غ ل ب ا ن ل ج ا يذ لا ت ل ج ا ا ن ل و كل ذ ك ي ل و ن ض ع ب ن يمل ظلاا ض ع ب ۰۰۱۲۸ نا ك ب ر م يك ح م يل ع ١ ن يدل خ ا ه يفا لاا م ء ا ش ه للا ر ش ع م ي نج لا وس نا لا م ل ا م كت ا ي ل س ر م ك ن م ن و ص ق ي م ك ي ل ع يت ي ا ۰۰۱۲۹ ا مبا و نا ك و بس ك ين ا و لا ق ا ن ده ش ى ل ع ا نس ف ن ا و م ه ت ر غ ةو ي ح لا ا ي ن دلا و ١ م ك ن و رذ ن ي ء ا قل م كم و ي ا ذ ه ة و كل ذ ن ا م ل ن ك ي ك ب ر كل ه مى ر ق لا م ل ظب و ۰۰۱۳۰ ا و ده شى ل ع مهس ف ن ا م ه ن اا و نا ك ن يرف ك ۰۰۱۳۱ ا ه ل ه ا ن و لف غ And on the Day when He will muster them all together, He will say (to the jinn): 'O assembly of the jinn, you have seduced a good many of mankind.' And their companions from among the humans will say: 'Our Lord! We did indeed benefit from one another and now have reached the term which You had set for us.' Thereupon Allah will say: 'The Fire is now your abode, and therein you shall abide.' Only those whom Allah wills shall escape the Fire. Surely your Lord is All-Wise, All-Knowing. In this manner We will make the wrong-doers friends of each other (in the Hereafter) because they earned (evil together in the world). (Then Allah will also ask them): 'O assembly of jinn and men! Did there not come to you Messengers from among yourselves, relating to you My signs, and warning you of the encounter of this your Day (of Judgement)?' 23 Page 22 of 39 against ourselves.' They have been deluded by the life of this world, and they will bear witness against themselves that they had disbelieved. (They will be made to bear this witness to show that) it is not the way of your Lord to destroy cities unjustly while their people were unaware of the Truth. There is not a town but { 52} 41 - سورة اإلسراء نا ك كل ذيف ١ و نا ن م ة ي ر قا لا ن ح نا ه و كل ه م ل ب قم و ية م يق لا و اا ه و ب ذ ع ما با ذ عا د يد ش ۰۰۵۸ ب تك لاا ر و ط س م There is not a town but We shall destroy it or upon which We shall inflict severe chastisement before the Day of Resurrection. This is written down in the Eternal Book (of Allah). { 5-1} 45 - سورة احلجر ا م قب س ت نم ة م ا ا ه ل ج ا و ا م ۰۰۴ و ا م ا ن ك ل ه ا نم ة ي ر ق ا لا و ا ه ل با تك م و ل ع م ۰۰۵ ن و رخ ا ت س ية Whenever We destroyed a town, a definite term had previously been decreed for it. No people can outstrip the term for its destruction nor can it delay it. { 35} 24 - سورة األنبياء ۰۰۹۵ و م ر حى ل ع ة ي ر ق ا ه ن ك ل ه ا م ه ن اا ل ن و عج ر It has been ordained against every town that We ever destroyed that they will not return. Saving the righteous men from those generations who forbid others from committing evil in the land { } 44 - سورة هود و ل فا ل نا ك نمن و ر ق لا نم م كل ب قا و لو ا ة يق ب ن و ه ن ين عدا س ف لايفض ر ا لاا لاا ل يل ق ن م م وا م نا ك ك ب ر كل ه يل ۰۰۱۱۶ و ع ب تا ن يذ لاا و م ل ظ ا ما و فر ت اه يف وا و نا ك ن يمر ج م ١ ا ن ي ج ن ا م ه نم ۰۰۱۱۷ ى ر ق لا م ل ظب وا ه ل ه ا ن و حل ص م Why were there not, out of the generations that passed away before you, righteous men who would forbid others from committing evil in the land? And if such were there, they were only a few whom We had saved from those generations, or else the wrong-doers kept pursuing the ease and comfort which had been conferred upon them, thus losing themselves in sinfulness. And your Lord is not such as would wrongfully destroy human habitations while their inhabitants are righteous. { 42} 14 - سورة فصلت ۰۰۱۸ وا ن ي ج ن ن يذ لاا و ن م ا وا و نا ك و ق ت ين Yet We saved those who believed and were God-fearing. Thus did We test them because of their disobedience. And recall when a party of them said: 'Why do you admonish a people whom Allah is about to destroy or punish severely?' They said: 'We admonish them in order to be able to offer an excuse before Your Lord, and in the hope that they will guard against disobedience.' Then, when they forgot what they had been exhorted, We saved those who forbade evil and afflicted the wrong-doers with a grievous chastisement because of their evildoing. 26 Page 25 of 39 Believers! Respond to Allah, and respond to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life. Know well that Allah stands between a man and his heart, and it is to Him that all of you shall be mustered. And guard against the mischief that will not only bring punishment to the wrong-doers among you. Know well that Allah is severe in punishment. Some Ways of chastising the Nations { 11-15} 1 - سورة األنعام ل ق و ه ردا ق لا ى ل ع ن ا ث ع ب ي م ك ي ل ع ا با ذ ع ن م م كق و ف و ا نم ت ح ت م كل ج ر ا و ا م ك سب ل ي و ب ذ ك هب ۰۰۶۵ ر ظ ن ا ف ي ك ف ر ص نت ي ا لا م ه ل ع ل ن و ه ق ف ي ١ ا ع يش و ق يذ ي م ك ض ع ب س ا ب ض ع ب ۰۰۶۷ و ف و س ن و م ل ع ت ١ ل كل ا ب ن ر ق ت س م ۰۰۶۶ ل ق ت س ل م ك ي ل ع يك وبن ١ ك م و ق و و ه ق ح لا Say: "It is He Who has the power to send forth chastisement upon you from above you, or from beneath your feet, or split you into hostile groups and make some of you taste each others' violence. Behold, how We set forth Our signs in diverse forms, so that maybe they will understand the Truth". Your people have denied it even though it is the Truth. Say: "I am not a guardian over You. Every tiding has its appointed time; you yourselves will soon know (the end)". { 411} 1 - سورة األعراف نا ك ب ر ع ير س ل ١ و ذا ن ذ ا ت ك ب ر ن ث ع ب ي ل مه ي ل عى لام و ية م يق لا ن م م ه م و س ي ء و سبا ذ ع لا ۰۰۷۶ و ه نا ر و ف غ ل م يح ر ١ با قع لا And recall when Your Lord proclaimed that 'He would continually set in authority over them (israilites), till the Day of Judgement, those who would ruthless oppress them.' Consequently, by Allah's grace, they routed the unbelievers, and David killed Goliath; and Allah gave him kingship and wisdom and taught him whatever other things He willed. And if Allah had not been repelling one set of people by means of another, the earth would have been filled with chaos. But Allah is bountiful to the world (and so repels chaos in this way). These are Allah's revelations, which We are conveying to you accurately. He said: My people, serve Allah and look forward to the Last Day and do not go about the earth committing mischief.but they denounced him as a liar. So a mighty earthquake overtook them, and by the morning they lay overturned in their houses. And We destroyed Ad and Thamud, whose dwellings you have observed. 29 Page 28 of 39 of clear perception. And We destroyed Qarun (Korah) and Pharaoh and Haman. Moses came to them with Clear Signs but they waxed arrogant in the land although they could not have outstripped (Us). So We seized each for their sin. We let loose upon some a violent tornado with showers of stones; some were overtaken by a mighty Cry; some were caused to be swallowed up by the earth, and some We drowned. Consequently in the end everything they did, proved vain in this world and shall be vain in the Next World: surely they are the people who are the losers Has not the story reached them of those who had gone before them-the people of Noah, tribes of `Ad and Thamud, the people of Abraham and the inhabitants of Midian and of the overturned cities? It is they who will attain true success. Do not be like those who fell into factions and differed among themselves after clear signs had come to them. A mighty chastisement awaits them.
