Ali Bin Muhammad Bin Bundar, and someone else, from Ahmad Bin Abu Abdullah, from Muhammad Bin Ali, from Al Hassan Bin Ali Bin Yusuf, from Zakariyya Bin Muhammad Al Azdy, from Abdul A ala, a slave of the progeny of Saam who said, I said to Abu Abdullah asws, We are reported to in our presence from Rasool- Allah saww having said that Allah azwj Blessed and High Hates the house of the meat. So he asws said: They are lying! But rather Rasool-Allah saww said: The house in which the people are backbiting and eating their (brothers ) meats, and my asws father asws was meat-loving, and he asws passed away, (and on) the day he asws passed away in a sleeve of a mother of his asws child were thirty Dirhams for (buying) the meat. 5 و ع ن ا ع ن ع ث م ان ب ن ع يس ى ع ن م س م ع أ ب ي س ي ار ع ن أ ب ي ع ب د للا عسيا الس عن أ ن ر ج ع ق ال ل ا إ ن م ن ق ب س ن ا ي ر و ون أ ن ع ز و ج ل ي ب غ ض ال ب ي ت ال ذ ي ت ؤ ك ل ف يا ل ح و ن ع ز و ج ل ي ب غ ض ب ي ت الس ح ن ف ق ال ص د ق وا و ل ي س ح ي ث ذ ه ب وا إ ن للا للا الن اس. Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Al Husayn Bin Abu Al A ala, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws having said: Rasool-Allah saww was meat-lover, he saww loved the meat. 7 أ ح م د ب ن م ح م د ع ن ع س ي ب ن ال ح ك ن ع ن س ي ب ن ع م ير ة ع ن ال ح س ن ب ن ه ار ون ع ن أ ب ي ع ب د للا عسيا الس عن ق ال ت ر ك أ ب و ج ع ف ر عسيا الس عن ث ع ث ين د ر ه ما ل س ح ن ي و ن ت و ف ي و ك ان ر ج ع ل ح ما. A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ja far Bin Muhammad Al Ashary, from Ibn Al Qaddah, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws having said: Rasool-Allah saww said: We the group of Qureysh are a meat-loving people. 9 باب أ ن م أن ل أم ي أ أ ك ل الل أحم أ أرب ع ين ي أوما ت غ ي ر خ ل ق ه Chapter 56 The one who does not eat meat for forty days, his mannerisms would change ع س ي ب ن إ ب ر اه ين ع ن أ ب يا ع ن اب ن أ ب ي ع م ي ر ع ن ه ش ان ب ن س ال ن ع ن أ ب ي ع ب د للا عسيا الس عن قال الس ح ن ي ن ب ت الس ح ن و م ن ت ر ك الس ح ن أ ر ب ع ين ي و ما س اء خ س ق ا و م ن س اء خ س ق ا ف أ ذ ن وا ف ي أ ذ ن ا. Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Hisham Bin Salim, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws having said: The meat builds the meat, and the one who neglects (eating) the meat for forty days, his mannerisms would worsen, therefore recite the Azaan in his ears. 10 ع د ة م ن أ ص ح اب ن ا ع ن أ ح م د ب ن م ح م د ع ن أ ح م د ب ن م ح م د ب ن أ ب ي ن ص ر ع ن ال ح س ي ن ب ن خ ال د ق ال ق س ت ل ب ي ال ح س ن الر ض ا عسيا الس عن إ ن الن اس ي ق ول ون إ ن م ن ل ن ي أ ك ل الس ح ن ث ع ث ة أ ي ان س اء خ س ق ا ف ق ال ك ذ ب وا و ل ك ن م ن ل ن ي أ ك ل الس ح ن أ ر ب ع ين ي و ما ت غ ي ر خ س ق ا و ب د ن ا و ذ ل ك ل ن ت ق ال الن ط ف ة ف ي م ق د ار أ ر ب ع ين ي و ما. A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Abu Nasr, from Al Husayn Bin Khalid who said, I said to Abu Al-Hassan Al-Reza asws that, The people are saying that the one who does not eat the meat for thirty days, his mannerisms would worsen. So he asws said: They are lying, but the one who does not eat the meat for forty days, his mannerisms would change, and his body (as well), and that is the transference of the seed in a measurement of forty days. 11 ع س ي ب ن م ح م د ب ن ب ن د ار و غ ي ر ه ع ن أ ح م د ب ن أ ب ي ع ب د للا ع ن م ح م د ب ن ع س ي ع ن اب ن ب ق اح ع ن ال ح ك ن ب ن أ ي م ن ع ن أ ب ي أ س ام ة ز ي د الش ح ان ع ن أ ب ي ع ب د للا عسيا الس عن ق ال ق ال ر س ول للا صسى للا عسيا وآلا م ن أ ت ى ع س ي ا أ ر ب ع ون ي و ما و ل ن ي أ ك ل الس ح ن ف س ي س ت ق ر ض ع س ى للا ع ز و ج ل و ل ي أ ك س ا. He (the narrator) said, So Abu Al-Hassan asws looked at him and said: Had Allah azwj Mighty and Majestic Created a chewy morsel which is better than the lamb, so it would have been sacrificed for Ismail as. 13 م ح م د ب ن ي ح ي ى ع ن أ ح م د ب ن م ح م د ع ن م ح م د ب ن خ ال د ع ن س ع د ب ن س ع د ق ال ق س ت ل ب ي ال ح س ن عسيا الس عن إ ن أ ه ل ب ي ت ي ل ي أ ك س ون ل ح ن الض أ ن ق ال ف ق ال و ل ن ق ال ق س ت إ ن ه ن ي ق ول ون إ ن ا ي ه ي ج ب ه ن ال م ر ة الس و د اء و الص د اع و ا ل و ج اع ف ق ال ل ي ي ا س ع د ف ق س ت ل ب ي ك ق ال ل و ع س ن للا ع ز و ج ل ش ي ئا أ ك ر ن م ن الض أ ن ل ف د ى ب ا إ س م اع يل عسيا الس عن. Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Khalid, from Sa ad Bin Sa ad who said, I said to Abu Al-Hassan asws, My family are not eating meat of the goat. So he asws said: And why? I said, They are saying that it stirs the bitterness with them, and the black bile (acidity), and the headaches, and the pains. So he asws said to me: O Sa ad! So I said, At your service! He asws said: Had Allah azwj Known of a thing more prestigious than the lamb He azwj would have Sacrificed it for Ismail as. 14 ب ع ض أ ص ح اب ن ا ع ن ج ع ف ر ب ن إ ب ر اه ين ال ح ض ر م ي ع ن س ع د ب ن س ع د ق ال ق س ت ل ب ي ال ح س ن الر ض ا عسيا الس عن إ ن أ ه ل ب ي ت ي ي أ ك س ون ل ح ن ال م اع ز و ل ي أ ك س ون ل ح ن الض أ ن ق ال و ل ن ق س ت ي ق ول ون إ ن ا ل ح ن ي ه ي ج ال م ر ار ف ق ال عسيا الس عن ل و ع س ن للا ع ز و ج ل خ ي را م ن الض أ ن ل ف د ى ب ا ي ع ن ي إ س ح اق. ه ك ذ ا ج اء ف ي ال ح د يث. One of our companions, from Ja far Bin Ibrahim Al Hazramy, from sa ad Bin Sa ad who said, I said to Abu Al-Hassan Al-Reza asws that, My family are eating the meat of the goat, and are not eating the meat of the lamb. He asws said: And why? I said, They are saying that it is a meat which stirs the bitterness (acidity). So he asws said: Had Allah azwj Mighty and Majestic Known of (anything) better than the lamb, He azwj would have Sacrificed by it, meaning Is haq. Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ali Bin Al Hassan Al Maysami, from Suleyman Bin Abbad, from Isa Bin Abu Al Warad, from Muhammad Bin Qays, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja far asws having said: The Children of Israel complained to Musa asws of what they were facing from the whiteness (vitiligo). So he as took that complaint to Allah azwj Mighty and Majestic, so Allah azwj Mighty and Majestic Revealed unto him as : Order them to eat the meat of the cow with the beet. 16 ع د ة م ن أ ص ح اب ن ا ع ن س ه ل ب ن ز ي اد ع ن ي ح ي ى ب ن ال م ب ار ك أ ر اه ع ن ع ب د للا ب ن ج ب س ة ع ن أ ب ي الص ب اح ال ك ن ان ي ع ن أ ب ي ع ب د للا عسيا الس عن ق ال م ر ق ل ح ن ال ب ق ر ي ذ ه ب ب ال ب ي اض. A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Yahya Bin Al Mubarak, reporting from Abdullah Bin Jabala, from Abu Al Sabbah Al Kinany, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws having said: The broth of the meat of the cow does away with the whiteness (vitiligo). 17 م ح م د ب ن ي ح ي ى ع ن أ ح م د ب ن م ح م د ع ن م ح م د ب ن خ ال د ع ن ع ب د للا ب ن ال م غ ير ة ع ن إ س م اع يل ب ن أ ب ي ز ي اد ع ن أ ب ي ع ب د للا عسيا الس عن ق ال أ ل ب ان ال ب ق ر د و اء و س م ون ه ا ش ف اء و ل ح وم ه ا د اء. Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Khalid, from Abdullah Bin Al Mugheira, from Ismail Bin Abu Ziyad, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws having said: The milk of the cow is a medicine, and its butter is a healing, and its meat is an ailment. 18 ع د ة م ن أ ص ح اب ن ا ع ن س ه ل ب ن ز ي اد ع ن ع س ي ب ن ح س ان ع ن م وس ى ب ن ب ك ر ق ال س م ع ت أ ب ا ال ح س ن عسيا الس عن ي ق و ل الس ح ن ي ن ب ت الس ح ن و م ن أ د خ ل ف ي ج و ف ا ل ق م ة ش ح ن أ خ ر ج ت م ث س ه ا م ن الد اء. 9 ب Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Abu Nasr, from Hammad Bin Usman, from Muhammad Bin Sowqat, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws having said: The one who eats a morsel of fat, throws out the likes of it from the ailments. 20 ع د ة م ن أ ص ح اب ن ا ع ن أ ح م د ب ن أ ب ي ع ب د للا ع ن ب ع ض أ ص ح اب ا ب س غ ب ا ز ر ار ة ق ال ق س ت ل ب ي ع ب د للا عسيا الس عن ج ع س ت ف د اك الش ح م ة ال ت ي ت خ ر ج م ث س ه ا م ن الد اء أ ي ش ح م ة ه ي ق ال ه ي ش ح م ة ال ب ق ر و م ا س أ ل ن ي ي ا زر ار ة ع ن ه ا أ ح د ق ب س ك. A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Abu Abdullah, from one of his companions, having delivered with it by Zurara who said, I said to Abu Abdullah asws, May I be sacrificed for you asws! A man from the companions of Abu Al-Khattab forbade from eating the strutting (racing) camels, and from eating the meat of Al-Masroula pigeons. A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid, from Amro Bin Usman raising it, said, Amir Al-Momineen asws said: The goose is the buffalo of the birds, and the chicken is the pig of the birds, and the pheasant is the turkey of the bird, and where are you from the two rising chicks (such as) raised by a woman from Rabi a ( a village) by the remains of her livelihood (so eat those). 25 ع ن ا ع ن الس ي ار ي ر ف ع ا ق ال إ ن ا ذ ك ر ت الس ح م ان ب ي ن ي د ي ع م ر ف ق ال ع م ر إ ن أ ط ي ب الس ح م ان ل ح ن الد ج اج ف ق ال أ م ير ال م ؤ م ن ي ن عسيا الس عن ك ع إ ن ذ ل ك خ ن از ير الط ي ر و إ ن أ ط ي ب الس ح م ان ل ح ن ف ر خ ق د ن ه ض أ و ك اد أ ن ي ن ه ض. 13 I said to Abu Ja far asws, The companions of Al-Mugheira are forbidding from eating the Jerk which the fire has not touched. From him, (It has been narrated) raising it from Abu Abdullah asws, said, I said to him asws, The meat (which is) dried and the salt is sprinkled upon it, and dried in the shade. Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Musa Bin Al Hassan, from Muhammad Bin Isa, (It has been narrated) from Abu Al-Hassan asws the 3rd, said, He asws used to say: I asws have not eaten a foodstuff which is more remaining nor more stirring for the illnesses than the dried meat, meaning the Jerk. 38 ع ن ا ع ن أ ب ي ال ح س ن عسيا الس عن أ ن ا ك ان ي ق ول ال ق د يد ل ح ن س و ء ل ن ا ي س ت ر خ ي ف ي ال م ع د ة و ي ه ي ج ك ل د اء و ل ي ن ف ع م ن ش ي ء ب ل ي ض ر ه. A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid, from one of his companions, raising it, said, Abu Abdullah asws said: Two things are corrective, either of which does not enter the inside at all as spoilt except that it corrects it, and two things are both spoilers, they do not enter inside at all as correct, except that they spoil it. He (the narrator) said, And Abu Is haq Al-Nahawandy has increased in it: And copulating with the women upon the filled (belly). 41 ع ن ا ع ن ب ع ض أ ص ح اب ا ر ف ع ا ق ال ق ال أ ب و ع ب د للا عسيا الس عن ث ع ث ل ي ؤ ك س ن و ه ن ي س م ن و ث ع ث ي ؤ ك س ن و ه ن ي ه ز ل ن و اث ن ان ي ن ف ع ان م ن ك ل ش ي ء و ل ي ض ر ان م ن ش يء و اث ن ان ي ض ر ان م ن ك ل ش يء و ل ي ن ف ع ان م ن ش ي ء From him, from one of our companions, raising it, said, Abu Abdullah asws said: Three things which are nor eaten and these fatten, and three are eaten and these slim (the body), and two benefit from every things and do not harm from anything, and two harm from everything and do not benefit from anything. ف أ م ا الس و ات ي ل ي ؤ ك س ن و ي س م ن اس ت ش ع ار ال ك ت ان و الط يب و الن ور ة و أ م ا الس و ات ي ي ؤ ك س ن و ي ه ز ل ن ف ه و الس ح ن ال ي اب س و ال ج ب ن و الط س ع و ف ي ح د يث آخ ر ال ج ر ز و ال ك س ب و الس ذ ان ي ن ف ع ان م ن ك ل ش يء و ل ي ض ر ان م ن ش يء ف ال م اء ال ف ات ر و الر م ان و الس ذ ان ي ض ر ان م ن ك ل ش ي ء و ل ي ن ف ع ان م ن ش يء ف الس ح ن ال ي اب س و ال ج ب ن So as for those which are not eaten and these fatten are the linen, and the perfume, and the Noura (Lime-wax); and as for those which are eaten and they slim (the body), so these are the dried meat, and the cheese, and the spadix and in another Hadeeth: The Prairie moon (a herb), and oil-cake; and the two which benefit from everything and do not harm from anything the luke-warm water and the pomegranate; and those two which harm from everything and do not benefit from everything, so it is the dried meat, and the cheese. ق س ت ج ع س ت ف د اك ث ن ق س ت ي ه ز ل ن و ق س ت ه اه ن ا ي ض ر ان ف ق ال أ م ا ع س م ت أ ن ال ه ز ال م ن ال م ض ر ة. I said, May I be sacrificed for you asws! Then you asws said: They slimmen (the body), and over here they are both harmful. 15 A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Al Rayyan, raising it, said, I said to Abu Abdullah asws, Why did Rasool-Allah saww used to the love the arm more than his saww love for the rest of the body parts of the sheep? So he asws said: Because Adam as offered an offering on behalf of the Prophets as from his as offspring, so he as named a part for each Prophet as from his as offspring, and named the arm for Rasool-Allah saww. So I said to him asws, Pain has struck me. So he asws said to me: Eat the meat. So I ate it. Then he asws saw me after the Friday, and I was (still) upon my pale state, so he asws said to me: Did I asws not order you with eating the meat? I said, I have not eaten anything else since you asws ordered me. So he asws said: And how did you eat it? I said, Cooked. So he asws said: No, eat it as Kabab (roast). So I ate it. Then he asws sent a message to me, so he asws called me over after Friday, and the blood had returned in my face.
