1 WELCOME ABOARD TO YOUR NEW ENGLAND BYC CHARTER EXPERIENCE Thank you for your reservation deposit. We look forward to making your charter with Bluenose Yacht Charters enjoyable and fun. Please take a moment to carefully review and sign the Charter Agreement to confirm all of the information is accurate and complete. To confirm your reservation we need the charter agreement, credit card authorization, cancellation policy, skipper s resume forms completed and signed as soon as possible to process your reservation without delay. SALING RESUME If this is your first charter with us we need this form returned for our review and approval. If we have any questions or need further information we will contact you. Balance Payment/Boarding Appointment Your balance is due not later than 45 days prior to the start of your charter. If you wish to pay by check, please make sure we receive this no less than 45 days prior to the start date of your charter. A security deposit as specified for your charter boat selection is to be provided upon check in with a credit card, cash, or traveler s check. Yacht Locations Most of our BYC yachts are located at Harbor Light Marina, 200 Gray St. Warwick, RI. This is conveniently located eight miles from PVD airport. harbor- lights Early Boarding (Sleepaboard) If requested 30 days prior to your charter date and if your charter yacht is available, you may arrive at our office at 4-5 pm the day before your charter. If possible, we will try to give you your charter briefing upon arrival. We will provide you with instructions on your charter yacht location, access to key and meet you the following morning at 9 AM for your check in. Departure from the slip is only allowed after check in and briefing. If you wish to remain or return to your boat s slip at any point during your charter period, you must inform and receive our permission to do so. Otherwise your slip may not be available. Your charter agreement should remain on the boat at all times during your charter.

2 BASE LOCATION. Bluenose Yacht Charter base is located a mere eight miles from Providence Airport, (PVD). There are numerous supermarkets for provisioning conveniently located between the airport and our charter base. The charter base is well protected and on the property of Harbor Light Marina and Country Club in Warwick Neck, RI with a brand new swimming pool, clubhouse, restaurant and golf course. There is parking at no charge and the premises are considered quite safe. Cleaning: to be added to the above daily rates a per charter cleaning fee for Monohulls: from 36 to 48 : $250.-, 49 and over: $300.- Starter Pack is an extra to be added to the above daily rates at a set fee of $100.- per charter. The pack includes: 1 bottle of Mount Gay Rum, 2 limes, sugar; 1 pack of 6 Coke cans, 1 gallon Water, 1 small bottle of washing up liquid, 1 dish cloth/sponge, garbage bags,1 roll of paper towels, 1 box of matches, 1 roll of toilet paper in each head. All our yachts are equipped with dinghy and outboard engine. The charter rates do not include: Cancellation insurance, transfers airport- base- airport, diesel fuel or food provisions. Embarkation 17h30 / Disembarkation 11h00 Early booking discount Repeater discount Boat show discount Group discount 5% for any charter booked and deposit paid 180 days or more prior departure date. 5% for any repeat client 5% for any charter booked on a boat show 5% for at least 3 yachts booked Options: All extras and options paid locally on spot are subject to a surcharge of 15%. Skipper/Licensed Captain $350.- /night + provisioning Captains are not BYC employees, however we will assist in arranging for a USCG certified Captain for your charter. Please inquire for details. You will pay the Skipper/Captain directly and in advance of your charter. It is normal to also expect to pay a small gratuity to the Skipper of between 10-15% depending upon your satisfaction. Hostess/cook $200.- /night + provisioning All our yachts are delivered to you with full tanks of fuel (yacht & dinghy), full tank of water, 1 bottle of cooking gas in duty + 1 spare bottle. You have to re- deliver the yacht with full tanks of fuel and water. There will be a fee of $100 plus the cost of fuel deducted from your Security Deposit if your yacht is returned without full fuel and water. There is a fuel dock at the marina. Security Deposit The security insurance refundable deposit is mandatory Your charter yacht is not to be used for regattas & races. Yachts from 49 and up - a refundable deposit of $2,000 to be paid prior to start of charter Yachts from a refundable deposit of $1,500 to be paid prior to start of charter Security Deposit To be paid at the base upon embarkation by bank certified cheque, cash, traveller cheques or credit card (Visa and MasterCard only). If paid by credit card the client should contact his/her bank previously and let them know about the transaction. Should the refundable full security deposit by credit card be refused at the time of embarkation, client will be obliged to subscribe the non- refundable security insurance.

3 Charter Payments: $500 of the charter fee to confirm booking reservation. Balance of the charter fee plus all booked options 45 days before embarkation Travel Insurance: Is available on request for all BYC charters and must be secured before the final payment is due. Please inquire for details. Hull Damage Waiver: The charterer is required to pay a non- refundable Hull Damage Waiver (HDW) in the amount of $35 per day, a minimum of $100 and not to exceed $490 (14 days). The HDW is to protect the charterer against losses incurred in excess of their security deposit. Cancellation fee If the charter is cancelled more than 90 days prior to your departure date, then your deposit is fully refundable. If between 89 days and 45 days prior to the charter start, a fee of $250 will be charged. If the charter is cancelled between days prior to the charter s inception, a cancellation fee equal to $500 for all yachts will be charged. If a charter is cancelled 14 days or less prior to departure, there will be no refund. There will be a $100 rescheduling fee if the charterer elects to move the charter in lieu of cancellation; this is subject to availability of another similar yacht and must be more than 15 days prior to departure. No charters will be cancelled or rescheduled due to inclement weather or rain. However, if a named tropical storm or hurricane occurs rescheduling is permitted at no charge. Qualifications: The designated skipper is required to complete and sign a Sailing Resume detailing his/her adequate experience. This is subject to our approval. For those considered not qualified for a bareboat charter a licensed Captain or approved instructor may be required for all or part of the charter. BYC reserves the right to assign a Captain at the time of embarkation at the charter s cost if the charterer is deemed unqualified at the day the charter begins. Charter Guidelines: Sailing is prohibited after dark. No smoking below deck. No pets permitted on board. Charterer is responsible for re- fueling and pump- out at the end of the charter. PROVISIONING: HELPFUL INFORMATION Between the airport and route 95 as you drive to our base there are a number of large super markets you may wish to visit to prepare and purchase your charter provisions. A few of them are: Dave s Market Place is a local icon here for good quality and good prices, 2687 West Shore Rd, Warwick, Shaw s Supermarket, 320 Warwick Rd, Warwick, Super Stop and Shop, 300 Quaker Lane, Warwick, As far as beer, wine and alcohol, these can only be purchased in RI at local package stores. They are readily located next door to the above food stores or within a quarter mile in their vicinity. We also have a local Walmart that could be useful located at: 650 Bald Hill Rd, Warwick, RI. And there are several large shopping malls in the area if shopping on a grand scale is your objective such as Warwick Mall, 400 Bald Hill Rd, Warwick; and also near the airport.

4 BOAT SUPLIES: As always WEST Marine is the local one stop shopping for marine supplies. The closest West Marine is about ten miles from the airport at 100 Division St. East Greenwich, One of the largest West Marine stores in the USA is located in Middletown and near Newport. This might be applicable if you have departed our Harbor Light Marina base and steaming or sailing to Newport. Their address is: 379 West Main Rd, Middletown, From downtown Newport this is a short taxi ride of about three miles.some of our clients have walked for the additional exercise. RESTAURANTS: Within ten miles of Harbor Light Marina are a variety of reasonably good restaurants such as: Legal Sea Foods 2099 Post RD, Warwick , right near airport. Bertuccis 1946 Post Rd, Warwick Sophia s Tuscan Grille 1729 Warwick Ave, Warwick Han Palace Chinese Restaurant 2470 West Shore Rd, Warwick Uno Chicago Grill 399 Bald Hill Rd, Warwick Ronzio Pizza 2424 West Shore Rd, Warwick, RI Or if you prefer fine dining in Providence we recommend: Capriccio 2 Pine St, Providence Meditearanneo 134 Atwells Ave, Providence Siena Restaurant 238 Atwells Ave, Providence If you decide to visit Newport as most people do in this area within walking distance of the dinghy dock downtown or if you decide to use Oldport Launch service you will find at least a dozen or more great restaurants and bars in the immediate downtown are such as Cooke House a Newport institution, 22 Bowens Grill, The Landing, The Black Pearl, Mooring Restaurant, Scales and Shells; and our favorite for French cuisine and a romantic setting would be Bouchards on lower Thames St. DIRECTIONS TO HARBOR LIGHT MARINA AND COUNTRY CLUB Gray ST, Warwick, RI Harbor Light Marina and Country Club is situated in the heart of Narragansett Bay - - and is conveniently located just minutes from I- 95, the Warwick MBTA Intermodal Station, and T.F. Green Airport. By land, just 4 miles from I- 95 From I- 95, take Exit 10E onto Rt 117 East Follow Rt 117 for 4 miles to Warwick Neck Ave (Sunoco station) on right Turn onto Warwick Neck Ave for.6 miles to Meadow View Ave on right Turn onto Meadow View Ave and follow the signs to Harbor Lights

5 HOTELS: Given our close proximity to the Providence airport (TFGreen) there are many reasonable hotels immediately adjacent to the airport that are reasonable in price and convenient to route 95 and our base location. Some to consider are: Hilton Garden Hotel, One Thurber Rd, Warwick, RI Hampton Inn, 2100 Post Road, Warwick, RI Crown Plaza, 801 Greenwich Ave, Warwick, RI PLEASE remember to complete your Contract and the Cancellation Policy and Charter/Skipper Responsibilities forms. Should a technical failure happen despite our highly professional maintenance, we commit ourselves to repair the failure in the next 6 hours following your call at the base during working hours (8 am. to 5 pm). If you loose more than 6 hours (during working hours) we will refund you one full day. If the repair takes more than 1 day, we will provide you with a similar boat or refund you on a pro rata basis.
