1 O Allah, I ask You for protection on the day when property will not avail, nor sons except he who comes with a heart free (from evil) (26: 88) on the day when the unjust one will bite his hands saying: O would that I had taken a way with the messenger(25; 27) on the day when the guilty shall be recognised by their marks so they shall be seized by the forelocks and the feet (55; 41) on the day when a father shall not give any satisfaction for his son nor shall the child give any satisfaction for his father, Surely the promise of Allah is true (31; 33) on the day when the unjust shall not benefit from their excuse and for them is curse and for them is the evil abode (40; 52) on the day when no soul shall control anything for (another) soul and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's (82; 19) on the day when a man shall flee from his brother, and his mother, his father, his spouse, and his children, each one of them on that day will have a concern which will occupy him (80;34) ال له م ا ني ا س ا لك الا م ان ي و م لا ي ن فع ما ل و لاب نون ا لا م ن ا تى االله ب ق ل ب س لي م و ا س ا لك الا مان ي و م ي ع ض ال ظال م ع لى ي د ي ه ي قو ل يا لي ت ني ا ت خ ذ ت م ع الر س و ل س بي لا و ا س ا لك الا مان ي و م ي ع ر ف ا لم ج رم ون بسيماه م في و خ ذ بال نواصي و الا قدا م و ا س ا لك الا مان ي و م لا ي ج زي وال د ع ن و لد ه و لا م و لود ه و جا ز ع ن وا لد ه شي ي ا ا ن و ع د االله ح ق و ا س ا لك الا مان ي و م لا ي ن فع ال ظال مين م ع ذ ر ته م و له م ال لع ن ة و له م س وء الد ا ر و ا س ا لك الا مان ي و م لا تم ل ك ن فس ل ن ف س شي ي ا و الا م ر ي و م ي ذ الله و ا س ا لك الا مان ي و م ي ف ر ا لم ر ء م ن ا خيه و ا م ه و ا بيه و صاح ب ت ه و ب نيه ل ك ل ام ر ي م نه م ي و م ي ذ ش ا ن ي غنيه

2 on the day when the guilty will wish to redeem himself from the chastisement of that day by (sacrificing) his children, and the near of kin who gave him shelter and all those that are in the earth (wising) that this might deliver him by no means! 3 the Wealthy and I am the Poor, and who else can be merciful to the poor except the Wealthy? the Bestower and I am the beggar, and who else can be merciful to the beggar except the Bestower? the Living and I am the dead, to the dead except the Living? the Eternal and I am the transient, and who else can be merciful to the transient except the Eternal? the Permanent and I am the short-lived, and who else can be merciful to the short-lived except the Permanent? the Provider and I am the blessed, and who else can be merciful to the blessed except the Provider? م و لاي يا م و لاي ا ن ت ا ل غ ني و ا نا ا ل فقير و ه ل ي ر ح م ا ل فقير ا لا ا ل غ ني م و لاي يا م و لاي ا ن ت ا لم ع طي و ا نا الس اي ل و ه ل ي ر ح م الس اي ل ا لا ا لم ع طي م و لاي يا م و لاي ا ن ت ا لح ي و ا نا ا لم ي ت و ه ل ي ر ح م ا لم ي ت ا لا ا لح ي م و لاي يا م و لاي ا ن ت ا لباقي و ا نا ا لفاني و ه ل ي ر ح م ا لفاني ا لا ا لباقي م و لاي يا م و لاي ا ن ت الد اي م و ا نا ال زاي ل و ه ل ي ر ح م ال زاي ل ا لا الد اي م م و لاي يا م و لاي ا ن ت الر ا زق و ا نا ا لم ر زوق و ه ل ي ر ح م ا ل مر زوق ا لا الر ا زق the Generous and I am the miser, and who else can be merciful to the miser except the Generous? م و لاي يا م و لاي ا ن ت ا لج واد ي ر ح م ا لب خي ل ا لا ا لج واد و ا نا ا لب خي ل و ه ل the Healer and I am the afflicted, and who else can be merciful to the afflicted except the Healer? م و لاي يا م و لاي ا ن ت ا لم عافي و ا نا ا لم ب تلى و ه ل ي ر ح م ا لم ب تلى ا لا ا لم عافي

5 the High-handed and I am the humble, and who else can be merciful to humble the except the High-handed?
