2 Trip Itinerary Day 1 - Split, Croatia to Stari Grad Off the mooring line at Split harbour at lunchtime, and on to our first overnight stop at either Jelsa or Stari Grad on the northern side of the island of Hvar. A UNESCO World Heritage-listed town, Stari Grad is certainly pleasing on the eye. Jelsa's not too shabby either. Day 2 - Stari Grad to Hvar This morning we head straight for Hvar, one of Croatia's glittering gems and playground to the likes of Tom Cruise, Ellen DeGeneres and Prince Harry (just to name a few). Sip a mist-mash in one of the oldest cities in Europe (it's an actual thing and involves red wine and Fanta - best not ask) and rub shoulders with the rich and famous as you stroll the white stone plaza. Included today: -Night out in Hvar -Visit to Hvar Fortress Day 3 - Hvar to Vis Sit, stay and roll over for the ultimate holiday glow - then set sail for Vis, a relatively untouched island on the Dalmatian coast. A visit to the Blue Caves will be just as epic as the name implies, so make sure your waterproof camera is well and truly charged. -Visit the Blue Caves -Visit Fort George Day 4 - Vis to Vela Luka Onwards to Vela Luka, a wide bay surrounded by coves that are covered with vineyards, olive trees, fig trees and pine. Tonight, we get our Klapa on - an a capella style of singing that we may hear echoing from the town's restaurants. UNESCO says that a few Croatian friends singing about their love of wine is of significant cultural importance (so it'd be rude not to join in, right?).

3 Day 5 - Vela Luka to Korcula In the spirit of adventure, explore Korčula's cobblestone alleys, take a spin through Marco Polo's house and then climb your way to the top of an old-school cathedral tower to savour a colourful cocktail. Take note: the ladder to the top of Massimo's cocktail bar is seriously steep, so watch your head! Included today: -Visit old town of Korčula Day 6 - Korcula to Mljet With more natural beauty and cool abandoned stone buildings than you can shake a sextant at, this is the perfect place to chill out. Soak up the serenity in the National Park or boat it over to St Mary island to visit the resident donkeys. Tonight, we clink glasses and indulge in a feast fit for a sailor with an onboard dinner. -Visit to Mljet National Park Day 7 - Mljet to Dubrovnik Check out the Mljet sunrise and head off to Dubrovnik, a city known for huge walls, fantastic ice-cream and a little-known TV show called Game of Thrones. -Sea kayaking around the Dubrovnik walls Day 8 - Dubrovnik Ready to talk to us about another eight days sailing the Croatian islands? 4 We use a fleet of A Category, A* Category and A + Category boats during the summer, which all have en-suite cabins. The cabins can be below deck or on deck and are generally small as there is limited space on the boat so please pack light. If you are a solo traveller, you will always be sharing a twin room with someone of the same sex. All Croatia boat trips include daily buffet breakfasts and three-course lunches, as well as 1 litre of bottled water daily. A Category Cabins are either below deck or on deck. If you are in an on deck cabin you may be on the main deck or on the top deck. The cabins do not have air conditioning but most boats have air conditioning units in the communal areas, which may be put on for some time during the night. A* Category A* boats have the same features as A Category boats, with below deck and on deck cabins. Both communal areas and cabins have air conditioning. A+ Category On A+ boats you will experience a few more creature comforts with air-conditioned cabins, a full hot buffet breakfast and daily fresh fruit. Linen and towels will be changed during the week. There is plenty of deck space on the boat for lounging. Boat Crew Your sailboat will come with three or four Crew members, who will ensure your cruise is the highlight of your experience in Croatia. There will be a Captain, Deckhands and a Chef. The Captain is solely responsible for the boat while at sea, and it is important you heed his advice at all times for your own safety. All our Captains come from the area and have been sailing this coastline for many years, so rest assured you re in capable hands. Meals All breakfasts and lunches are included on the boat (except breakfast on the first day and lunch on the last day). However, no evening meals are included you are free to go and explore each port town you dock in. There will be some optional meals offered on the boat. Please note: You cannot bring your own drinks on board. All drinks, including water, are sold on the boat at reasonable prices. If you bring any alcohol on board, the Captain and Crew have the right to confiscate it. All passengers get 1 litre of bottled water a day included in the trip price. If you have any dietary requirements we will make every effort to cater to your specific needs as long as you advise your travel agent or Customer Service Consultant when you book. Please be aware that it may not be possible to cater for every single dietary requirement, but we will always try our best to arrange it. However, we cannot cater for tastes or dislikes. No Tip Necessary Your Topdeck crew never expect tips themselves and will not ask for any; that s not what friends do! We also know how much tipping can cost you. However, amidst the fun and excitement, it s important to be aware of your surroundings and personal safety as well. Before you hit the road with us, it s important to be aware of the following: When you re on a night out, remember to avoid walking alone, particularly through deserted areas like beaches and back streets. Always stick together, take a taxi where possible, and keep a note of your accommodation details so you can find your way back to your fellow Topdeckers if you become separated. In some countries, alcoholic measures can be considerably larger than what you may be used to. Try to keep track of what you re drinking, and if you see one of your trip mates looking a little worse for wear, take them back to your accommodation. Be cautious when accepting drinks from strangers and never leave your drink unattended. It s also important to be aware that what you might consider harmless flirting may be interpreted differently in some countries. Be yourself and have fun, but don t be naïve, and be mindful of the signals you are sending out so that you don t find yourself in an uncomfortable situation.
