10 Club Judge Participates in protest and redress hearings May chair hearings once experience is gained Certification Participated in racing and hearings at the club level Attendance at a judges seminar is encouraged Ontario Sailing

11 Provincial Judge Able to chair hearings at an inter-club level Certification Been Club Judge Have racing and race management experience Experience with Rule 42 judging, if possible Ontario Sailing

12 Safety Officer Two general lines of safety officers Provides on water safety function, AKA Regatta Safety Generally in dinghy events Physical requirements Provides safety inspections Generally for keelboat racing and long distance races, e.g., Lake Ontario 300 Needs knowledge of boating safety especially equipment requirements Ontario Sailing
