2 JUNIOR PROGRAM Ages 9-16 Core Curriculum $495 per 2-week course All courses meet 3 hours daily, Monday through Friday, for 2 weeks. Courses start every other week. SAILING 1 START HERE 30 hours course code: S1 9 ft. Bugs & Sit-on-top kayaks This is the place to start! Divided into age groups, young sailors learn safety, confidence, and good boating habits on the water. This class is one week of sailing in 9 ft. Bugs combined with one week of kayaking where students learn safety skills on the water. Prerequisites: Ability to swim and weight 65lbs. SAILING 3 INTERMEDIATE SAILING 30 hours course code: S3 14 ft. Laser 4.7s This course offers an exciting step up in performance to agile, sporty Laser 4.7s. In doublehanded sailing drills, students learn heel control, basic aerodynamics, sail shape controls, and self-rescue techniques. Students under 13 are encouraged to repeat this course before taking Sailing 4. SAILING 2 THE NEXT STEP 30 hours course code: S2 14 ft. Hunter 140 sloops The second step in our core curriculum. Students move from a single sailed boat to a sloop rigged double-handed dinghy. This class sails 14 ft. Hunter 140 sloops. Students 11 and under should repeat this course before advancing to Sailing 3. SAILING 4 ADVANCED SAILING 30 hours course code: S4 14 ft. Lasers Our most challenging course is a ton of fun for students seriously interested in fine-tuning their sailing skills. Learn about hydrodynamics, roll-tacking, racing skills, dry capsizing, and more in this high energy class. This course may be repeated indefinitely for continued skill development.

Hobie Waves & 17 ft. Hobie Getaways course code: IC 12.5 Hrs. 13 ft. Hobie Waves WaterCats is a 100% hands-on adventure week. With an instructor onboard each boat, you ll get supervised tiller time while sailing to local islands in a semi-private lesson format. Everyday is different! Experience the exciting feel of sailing fast moving Hobie Waves. Build on basic sailing skills while mastering multihull handling techniques. Expect to get wet! Prerequisite: Sailing 2 Ages Ages hours Sit-on-top kayaks PADDLING Prerequisite: Intro. to Catamaran Sailing Ages Ultimate Paddling course code: UP 12.5 hours Paddleboards & sit-on-top kayaks Experience the natural beauty of the Long Island Sound on a paddle-board. Instructors teach paddling techniques and provide excursions each day within the protected waters of the Greenwich Cove. Ages Ages 8-11 RACING TECHNIQUES WATERBUGS 10 hours 9 ft. Bugs Learn the finer points of catamaran sailing on larger, faster Hobie Getaways. Don t forget to wear a bathing suit and hold on! course code: KY Kayaking Adventures offers all handson paddling fun, with daily kayak expeditions around Greenwich Cove and the Long Island Sound. Waterbugs is a one week learn-to- sail course for 8 and 9 year olds, perfect for those eager to get out on the water and have fun! Private instruction offered for ages 5+ REFUND POLICY: Class switches are subject to a $10 service charge per course. All refunds are subject to a $35 service charge per course. 6 ADULT PROGRAM Ages 17 & up $225 per course Adult Basic Sailing (ABS) Adult Intermediate Sailing (AIS) 12 Hrs. Hunter 140 sloops Prerequisite: Ablility to swim Learn to sail on our customized trainers. Our popular co-ed beginner s sailing course is concentrated into two consecutive weekends (12 hrs total). It covers all the essentials to start you sailing on your own. Lots of hands-on practice with just two to a boat, this class is also recommended for experienced novices. 12 Hrs. Hunter 140 sloops Prerequisite: ABS, Ablility to swim This course is designed as a direct follow-up to our Basic course. It builds confidence while reinforcing basic skills through hands-on sailing drills and chalk-talks. Students sail two to a boat in Hunter 140s. Many students repeat this course prior to taking our advanced course. Specialty Course Women s Basic Sailing (WBS) 12 Hrs. Hunter 140 sloops Prerequisite: Ablility to swim A beginners course exclusively for women. The same as the co-ed Basic Sailing course, but conducted weekday mornings in June. $65 Adult Catamaran Sailing 2 Hrs. 17ft. Hobie Getaways Prerequisite: ABS prefered or similar experience Learn the tricks to handling a catamaran in a single Saturday morning 2hr class on our Hobie Getaways.
