1 LAGOON BOAT CLUB DECLARATION OF COPLIANCE AND SAFETY EQUIPENT CHECKLIST 2016 and 2017 Submitted to the Lagoon Boat Club Inc. For the year November 2016 to October 2017 Boat Name : Sail Number : Date : The owner shall complete this declaration in acknowledgement of understanding the requirements of the Yachting Australia Racing Rules of Sailing ADDENDU A, AYF Special Regulations Part If the owner is not the signatory, then the owner must sign the following authorization. I authorize. as my representative and understand my responsibilities under ADDENDU A.1. Owner s Name: Owner s Signature: DECLARATION OF COPLIANCE I, the Owner of the above boat, declare that the above boat complies with the requirements of the arine Regulations and the Lagoon Boat Club Sailing Instructions dated September 2009 for Category 4, 5N, 5 (Circle as Applicable) and that where the boat is in compliance with more than one Category level, the boat will carry the equipment commensurate with the specified Category for each race so entered. I also undertake to maintain the boat and all its equipment in good order and condition as specified in these Regulations. I have also read and understand my obligations as set out in Clause 1.02(a), (b) & (c) Owners Responsibility. I understand that receipt of this declaration by the Club and the subsequent issue by them of acceptance of this declaration, does not imply any responsibility of the Club for the seaworthiness and completeness of safety equipment for the boat. I have read and understand the requirements specified and certify that the boat is in compliance with these Regulations and attach a completed and signed declaration form. 2 RECOENDED SAFETY EQUIPENT CHECKLIST This checklist is a guide only. The Owner shall ensure their boat complies and their boat and equipment is maintained in sound seaworthy condition. This guide need not be submitted with your safety declaration. In the following table, indicates a mandatory requirement, N indicates mandatory for night racing and R indicates a recommended requirement. Note 1 : 1 indicates mandatory requirement as per the Victorian arine Regulations.
