1995 Tracker 16' Sportsman aluminum hull fishing boat, with an excellent condition and compression, recently tuned up and serviced, 1988 Nissan 25 HP Outboard.

1 1995 Tracker 16' Sportsman aluminum hull fishing boat, with an excellent condition and compression, recently tuned up and serviced, 1988 Nissan 25 HP Outboard. The boat has three installed seats (fore, middle, and aft), but a five-person capacity. With this steady flat-bottom boat comes a 12-volt Prowler 30-pound thrust electric trolling motor mounted on the bow, a working fish finder, new 6-gallon gas tank, new battery, new gas hose and primer unit, rewired, dual anchors, new fire extinguisher, lines and safety items. The excellent-condition, square-tube-constructed, heavy-duty 2" ball receiver Calkins Escort galvanized 20' trailer has a recently serviced heavy-duty mount jack, new bearings, bearing races, grease seals, and auto-greasing units on the wheels. It also has newly added boat guides (bunks), side and bottom, for easier loading. The safety lights work, and there is an easy on/off switch convenient to the pilot. The trailer has a newly installed submersibletype trailer light system. There is a 12-volt receptacle up near the bow and carpet on each divider floor. The center live-well works as intended. Every inch of this boat has been gone over and checked out completely. There are absolutely NO maintenance issues. This one is ready to go now and will serve you well. It does not leak, is totally sound, and tracks true on the water as well as behind a truck. The boat is operational, currently registered and insured. My price is firm. Here above is a good look at the SEA Class 2 trailer, as it was being upgraded. It once carried a yacht, so it is somewhat overkill for this flat bottomed bass boat. It has a 2 inch receiver. Those are the new pressure-treated support boards covered with high-quality indoor/outdoor carpet. I also installed a new front bumper and stay visible on one of the following pages. I installed a new submersible tail light system and new wires all the way to the receiver.

2 Before any work, above, I removed the wheels and inspected the axle, seals, bearings, and races. I replaced all of them with new parts and added a wheel sealer and greaser, using Mobil Marine grease on all parts. Above is a photo of the boat resting on the trailer and support (bunk) boards. I added pressure-treated side guide (bunk) boards, covered with the same carpet. The boat does not have leaks, no tears, and no compromises in the hull and solid throughout. The floor boards were removed and the boat thoroughly cleaned below the boards. The white wheels on this trailer are temporary mounted from my tow-dolly, until I had tires mounted on the original camouflage-colored rims. Don t have a current photo of those but they are similar.

3 This Tracker 16 Sportsman all-aluminum, welded-seam boat is not a flimsy boat. Looking at the bow, above: there is now a 12-volt power port (cigar-type) installed left of the fire extinguisher. I place another smaller battery in the left front to run the trolling motor, but you could modify the electrical connector and plug the line into the 12-volt receiver.

The live well is below the center mounted seat. The pilot s seat is a low seat, like the one in the center, but with an extension it is as high as the front mounted seat, if desired while at a stop.

4 Here above is a view of the front stop and support. The front winch and uniquely-engineered bumper guide system keeps the boat secured to the stop. A safety bungee or chain would provide added security. There is a mid-point strap attached to the frame forward of the wheel and over the boat to the other side. The live well is below the center mounted seat. The pilot s seat is a low seat, like the one in the center, but with an extension it is as high as the front mounted seat, if desired while at a stop. The depth/fish finder is mounted to the left (port) side of the center seat. This is a photo of the engine being serviced off the boat. Drive oil replaced, spark plugs gaped, filter and bowl cleaned, and all moving parts cleaned and lubricated in July. This motor is in excellent shape.

Three cleats were added to facilitate docking. There is an on/off switch for the lights near the stern white light on the starboard side rear. The transom is solid pressure treated marine plywood.

The gas tank with gas gauge is new, as is the fuel cord and primer. The marine battery is encased in a battery box. Wiring comes from the battery along the port side and thru conduit under the floor boards to the bow area. NOTE ADDED : A couple of fellows came and looked at the boat, liked it and wanted to take it on the water. I allowed that and the boat s motor started easily enough. They took it out into the Tennessee River, just outside Ingles Harbor, and the motor stopped for some reason. A motorboat operator volunteered to go out and check on them and towed them back to shore. They were quick to take off having changed their minds about the boat. While the motor is sound it had been setting up a while because I am not physically able to put it on the water. I checked the engine, cleaned the plugs and filters and it s running again. There is nothing wrong with the engine or boat and remains a good investment and boat for anyone wanting a boat of this type. Donald M. Ricks Decatur, Alabama
