Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Bloodborne Pathogens As established the provider ou are designated to be an AED user at an office or project site. 2 Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) As established the provider typically biennial for 1) employees who are designated as first aid responders, 2) employees who are performing high hazard activities (e.g., potential for falls, suffocation, electrocution, amputation) and medical attention is more than 4 minutes away, or 3) required client contract. Confined Space Entry Once ou perform confined space entry/authorizer/attendant duties (including anyone performing non-entry rescue activities). Confined Space Confined Space Rescuer Emergency Preparedness Plan/ Emergency Action Plan Excavations/Trenchin g Experienced Miner Training Fall Prevention/Protection N As needed Recommended if you perform entry activities. Once ou may have to enter a confined space to perform a rescue. Acquire from recognized source (e.g., Red Cross, American Heart). Once for all employees. For office personnel, this information is covered in employee orientation. Once and client or provider Once, followed annual refreshers ou are or may be involved in excavation or trenching operations ou meet the US Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) definition of an Experienced Miner. 3 First Aid As established the provider - typically biennial Hazard Communication Hazardous Materials Shipping Hazardous Waste Operations (40-hours) Hazardous Waste Operations (8 hours) Initially and if hazards change for 1) employees who are designated as first aid responders, 2) employees who are performing high hazard activities (e.g., potential for falls, suffocation, electrocution, amputation) and medical attention is more than 4 minutes away, or 3) required client contract. for anyone who is potentially exposed to/works with hazardous chemicals. Biennial for anyone who packages, labels, transports, completes paperwork for, or offers for shipment, hazardous materials/dangerous goods. Once Anyone performing work or expected to perform at hazardous waste sites or treatment, storage, and disposal facilities. Annual (See Hazardous Waste Operations.) Acquire from recognized source (e.g., Red Cross, American Heart). Training must occur before any work with hazardous chemicals. Included (as needed) in safety orientation. After the initial, required updates will typically be handled as part of project-specific safety. Training must have a hands-on component (i.e., donning/doffing PPE). Any exceptions must be approved a Regional SH&E Manager. When offered as a combination of online modules and classroom instruction, online modules must be completed prior to the classroom portion for participants to receive credit. Both portions (online and classroom) need to be completed within the same calendar year. 3/6
4 Hazardous Waste Operations Supervisor (8 hours) Once for anyone serving as the site supervisor at a hazardous waste site. Hearing Conservation Annual Employees exposed to noise 85 decibels averaged over an 8-hour day, or who otherwise utilize hearing protectors. Injury/Illness Prevention Once ou are assigned to California offices or job sites. Laboratory Safety Once ou work in a fixed or mobile wet chemistry lab. Lead Project Designer Every 3 years Lead Risk Assessor Every 3 years Lockout/Tagout Awareness Affected Person Lockout/Tagout Authorized Person Marine Trash and Debris Awareness and Limitation Nuclear Density Gauge Operator Nuclear Density Gauge Transporter Once; Once; ou are a lead project designer. ou are a project lead risk assessor inspector. ou work with and around equipment that may need to be locked out/tagged out. (ou are not responsible for applying tags/locks). ou lock out or tag out machines or equipment in order to perform servicing or maintenance on that machine or equipment. Annual ou work on contract operations for lessees and/or operators of oil and gas operations in the Gulf of Mexico. 5 Powered Industrial Trucks (Forklifts) Radiation Worker Once; Radiation Safety Officer Respiratory Protection Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) or Safety Qualified Supervisor (SQS) Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)/Cascade Systems Once our job assignments include operating a powered industrial truck (forklift). ou may require non-routine or short-term unescorted access to radiological controlled areas (excluding Radiation Areas and Airborne Radiation Areas), or you work in areas where radioactive materials are stored. Once ou are designated as a Radiation Safety Officer. Annual for any employee who may be required to wear a respirator. N Once Any manager directly overseeing revenue generating projects with any aspect of work conducted outside of an AECOM office Once for any employee required to wear SCBAs or to operate a supplied air system.
