1 Supplied Air Respirators Supplied Air Respirators (SAR) are designed to deliver clean air to the worker. The air* can be supplied from a high pressure compressor (breathable plant air). This clean air can be delivered to hoods, helmets, full facepieces, half facepieces and loose-fitting facepieces. 6 EN approved Supplied Airline Systems 3M S 200 A unique dual mode respiratory system Filters are fitted to the breathing tube at the facepiece which provide protection when the compressed air supply is disconnected. Dual-mode use with air supply disconnected is intended to provide protection when air supply connection is not Possible (Eg Entry to, and exit from contaminated areas). Can also be used in ONLY supplied air mode. The user in case of an eventuality can just release the quick release coupling and move out of the place switching over from positive to negative pressure respiratory system. Cartridges are fitted with full facepiece, which can withstand up to 5000-ppm contamination.(3m 6099 cartridge) 3M Visionair A Lightweight air- fed paint spray respirator Wide-view acetate visor can be flipped up and protected with visor overlays. Paint-spray guns or other air-tools can be powered by the belt-mounted regulator through the attached spraygun hose(which can also be detached). Regulator has bulit-in filter to remove nuisance odours. Regulator can be mounted left or right-handed. System also includes hood to protect hair from overspray.
