With the 5000 a test device is available that impresses as economic solution within the versatile Dräger test equipment portfolio and has been especially designed for medium to small respiratory protection workshops with moderate test volumes. The computercontrolled test device carries out static and dynamic tests of all respiratory protection equipment (except diving apparatus). It combines intelligent manual operation with technical sophistication to accelerate the test sequence automatically. Not only does the 5000 meet a high technical quality standard, it also has been designed in close cooperation with service technicians throughout the world and tailored towards their needs. SOUND PRODUCT DESIGN FOR YOUR INDIVIDUAL TEST REQUIREMENTS Dräger has developed a modular design providing a viable solution for every respiratory protection workshop. The Dräger Quaestor 5000 is available in four different configurations that in each case test fullface masks, chemical protection suits, airline breathing equipment and compressed air for functionality and leak tightness. The integrated artificial lung further permits dynamic simulated breathing tests. Tests of closed circuit (CCBA) and safety valves (SV) are also available options.

The high-precision and manufacturer-independent measurements are carried out according to EN 137, vfdb guideline 0804 and NFPA BALANCED PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS Practice-oriented product details and a harmonically attuned interaction of manual and automatic processes characterize the 5000: Do you want to diligently follow the tests of your respiratory protection products whilst still designing an efficient work process? No problem for the Dräger Quaestor The test sequence is semi-automatic. On the one hand there are processes, such as the control of the high pressure valve, which are fully automated. On the other hand certain individual tests require manual user intervention. During the leak tightness test for a compressed air breathing apparatus, for example, the disconnection of the lung demand valve medium pressure hose from the test device and the subsequent sealing of the medium pressure hose with a plug are required. If it is necessary to carry out all tests fully automated, then the 7000 as the flagship of the Dräger test instrument portfolio is the right choice. The gel face of the test head which emulates the elasticity of the human facial skin optimizes the tight fit for all common mask sizes. Due to its small dimensions the Dräger Quaestor 5000 takes up only little space in the respiratory protection workshop. A reduced weight (max. 21 kg with test head) and a convenient carrying handle allow easy transportation, e.g. in service vehicles. A workbench fixture, included in the scope of supply for the base unit, ensures a stable alignment during testing. LARGE SELECTION OF ACCESSORIES With an elaborate range of optional accessories the 5000 can be further expanded and thus optimize your user comfort. The Dräger QSI Box* provides a noise insulation for the low pressure warning resulting in a significantly reduced noise perception by the user. Due to its position next to the test device the gauge or Dräger Bodyguard can easily be placed inside the box before every test in which an electronic or mechanical low pressure warning is activated. 5 05 I DRÄGER QUAESTOR 5000 D _A D _A D _S D _A Removable test head Easy transport As a precaution the test head has already been fitted with two screw-on points to attach a holder for all Dräger mask/helmet combinations when necessary. A specially designed bracket ensures a comfortable rest position of the manometer or Dräger Bodyguard and the external microphone during the test; this can be attached permanently to the 5000 and always guarantees an ideal view of the display area. Do you want to work kinder to your back, inspect repair sources directly at eye level and test the compressed air in the upright position in which it is worn during use? No problem with the compressed air holder. Without much effort the holder is attached to the left of the test device using the already provided screw-on points and then offers the option to suspend the shoulder harness from the bracket of the holder. INTUITIVE SOFTWARE The 5000 is easily controlled from the PC. The included software contains a comprehensive database of preinstalled and, where necessary, amendable device data. With user notices and graphic elements the manual test steps are presented comprehensibly even for inexperienced users. After every completed test a test result report including measuring graphs is created and stored revision-safe for documentation purposes. Furthermore, the software corresponds to the equipment management requirements today's modern respiratory protection workshop has. For each respiratory protection product to be tested, individual identification numbers can be assigned, which can additionally be supplemented with location and customer information. An optionally applied test-due list provides timely information about tests that are due. If required, the stored test history of individual respiratory protection products or the equipment inventory can also be viewed at any time. The software also permits a customer-specific design of the test sequences, events and intervals.
