2 Achievements o Accredit Jubail Technical Institute (JTI) to be Accredited Testing Facility (ATF) from the American Welding Society (AWS) o Stablished the first underwater training center (Commercial Diving Center) in the Middle East, the training include underwater welding, NDT, Savage work, pipefitting, diving physics, diving physiology, decompression, & emergency management procedures, diving equipment, systems, & procedures, practical use of diving equipment, diving hazards & legislation, diver communication systems, rigging, underwater inspections training & searches, water jetting, airlifts, lift bags, cutting & welding equipment, underwater explosives, underwater construction techniques and hyperbaric chamber operations. o Represent the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the GCC skills competition as welding expert and judge on Oman (2010) - Senior Instructor (May-2014 to Present) Primary responsibilities includes provide training in verity of welding processes and assess them by distractive and non-distractive testing for weldments. A theoretical overview of welding symbols used on drawings in fabrication workshops and industrial plants according to ANSI/AWS A2.4. Provide training in different types of methods and machinery concerning welding requirements, and auxiliary welding equipment on industrial plants and fabrication workshops. Familiarize the students with the chemical and metallurgical properties of various steels and alloys. Provide the students with a technical understanding of oxyacetylene welding, flame cutting and brazing fundamentals and welding safety. Provide training to develop the hands-on skill necessary to produce high quality welds. Provide training on SMAW to develop the manual skills necessary to produce quality multipass fillet and groove welds with backing in all positions, using the E6010 and E7018 electrodes on thick carbon steel plate similar to many structural applications and high quality single V-groove welds carbon steel pipe in all positions (2G, 5G and 6G) visually inspect welds with naked eyes penetrant or magnetic particle testing. Acquiring the basic skills required to weld medium to thick carbon steel plate, steel pipes and Aluminum in all positions with GMAW or flux-cored. Provide the students with a thorough technical understanding of gas tungsten arc welding fundamentals, preparation for welding pipe and tubes and their welding defects. - Master Trainer/ Curriculum Specialist (October/2011 May/2014) Also, I been working as Master Trainer and Curriculum Developer, were I provide professional training for trainer and curriculum development by using best practices to enhance the technical training processes such as students centered learning methodologies and the teaching theories. In the other hand, developing curriculums to meet international standers, including writing learning outcomes to meet industrial needs and then drive the performance criteria, assessment methods/rubrics and teaching methodologies. Moreover, writing graduate profile for generic and specific discipline and moderate the entire process.
