4 Flowmeter DFM DFM 350 For use wth flow data sensors the flow meters are equpped wth magnetc floats. Szes DN 10 - DN 65 PA PSU Float flow meters DFM DFM 350 Flow data sensors ZE 3075 Flow data sensors ZE 3000 Lmt swtches ZE 950/ZE951 ASV float flow meters are avalable for many flow ranges from 3 to l/h. The tred and tested desgn s beng used n many applcatons from water treatment to heavy chemcal ndustry. Based on a specal confguraton software specal scales for almost every lqud or gaseous flud can be suppled. The ZE3075 conssts of a reed swtch chan whch s actvated by a magnet n the float. Any movement of the float s detected by the swtches and beng transferred nto a contnuous 0/4..20mA sgnal. The unt s calbrated durng commssonng and requres no further mantenance after that. The ZE 3000 delvers a contnuous 0/4..20 ma sgnal. Ths relates to the actual poston of the float nsde the meter. The workng prncpal of the ZE 3000 s based on tr-angulaton between the sensor and the magnet. Because of ths, the ZE 3000 can also read float postons exceedng the length of the sensor housng. The ZE 950 s a mono-stable lmt swtch, whch s actuated when the float s drectly n front of the swtch. The bstable ZE 951 s swtchng between two postons. These are only changng each tme the float passes the swtch, ether on the way up or down. The ZE 951 for that reason s avalable n NO (normally open) or NC (normally closed) verson. All ASV float flow meters come wth an ntegrated assembly mountng ral for the fttng of poston ndcators and can be suppled wth correspondng magnetc floats. 6 Ultrasonc Sensor UFM Hydrostatc fllng level sensor HFT Ultrasonc Sensor UFM The UFM s able to realse touchless fllng level detecton. The compact devce s able to montor a 6 meter range by means of a contnuously sensng, ntegrated ultrasonc sensor. The programmng and optcal output s done by means of an optonal, plug-n dsplay. As all ASV dsplay-programmable sensors the UFM can come wth varous sgnal output optons. The connecton to a PLC or as drect controller for other system components can be done by dfferent current based nterfaces 0/4..20mA or as relay-versons. The programmng of the devce can be comfortably done be means of many parameters. Hydrostatc fllng level sensor HFT The HFT s detectng the hydrostatc pressure of a lqud nsde a tank wth a known geometry and calculates the correspondng fllng level. The sensor s lowered to the bottom of the tank by a 6 meter FEP-cable and needs to be calbrated for the flud and tank sze once. The specal plastc encapsulaton of the sensor allows very precse control even n aggressve fluds. 7 Conductve Lmt swtch CFP Level Swtch NIS Bstable swtch BSS Level swtch NIS Conductve Lmt swtch CFP The BSS s a bstable swtch, whch gets actuated by means of a passng magnet. The system s beng used for mn/max readng on tanks and contaners. Counterweghts or magnetc floats are used for the actuaton. Next to the clear optcal ndcaton electrc voltages of 250VAC (30VDC) and currents of up to 3A can be drectly actvated. For the BSS a selecton of floats, encapsulated magnets and deflector rollers are avalable as accessores. The NIS s capable to detect up to 4 fllng levels. The devces operates by means of daphragm pressure swtches, whch reach nto the not pressursed tank va submergng tubes. When the flud rses n the tube the hydrostatc pressure of the compressed ar n the tube s actuatng the swtch. The swtchng ponts are determned by drllng 8 mm vent holes nto the tube 100 mm below the desred swtchng pont. The conductve sensor CFP has been desgned for use n electrcally conductve lquds. It s avalable wth two or three stanless steel probes. If the flud closes the crcut between the up to 1 meter long probes the two 24V relays on the nternal output nterface are actvated. Ths smple devce s capable of detectng up to two fllng levels and therefore very sutable for mn/max actuaton. Bstable swtch BSS m Instrumentaton Instrumentaton

8 Leakage and overfll preventon Lmt swtch SGS PE The operaton of contaners for water pollutng substances n accordance wth the German law WHG 19 requres the use of approved sensors to prevent overfllng and detect leakage. ASV Stübbe offers an DIBt approved complete system for electrcally conductve lquds. The system conssts of the lmt swtch SGS and the leakage probe LS. The processng of the sgnals can happen va a PLC or the optonal sgnallng devce SE. The lmt swtch SGS s used to secure that the maxmum fllng level of a tank can not be exceeded. Assembly and heght adjustment happen by means of a G2 threaded fttng. When lqud gets n contact wth the sensor a sgnal s gven va a potental free relay. Sgnallng devce SE Leakage probe LS The sgnallng devce SE s a controller for stand-alone systems on ndvdual tanks. It combnes the power supply and sgnal processng for the lmt swtch SGS and the leakage probe LS and s ftted wth several 230 V relay outputs as well as an optcal and an acoustcal warnng sgnal. The leakage probe LS s a varaton of the lmt swtch SGS. The purpose of ths unt s to detect leakng lquds n the gap between the tank and an outer protectve contaner. It s equpped wth a seven meter cable by means of whch the probe can be postoned at the lowest pont of the double walled tank or n a drp tray. If the capactve sensor gets n contact wth leaked flud a sgnal s send va a potental free relay n the same way as from the SGS sensor. m Instrumentaton Instrumentaton

10 Pressure relef valve DHV 712 R Szes DN 10 - DN 50 Pressure relef valve DHV 712 Szes DN 65 - DN 100 PTFE+C Pressure relef valve DHV 712-R Pressure relef valves are used to acheve and mantan constant operaton pressures, to prevent pressure pulsaton and to protect other ppelne components from pressure peaks. The patented pressure relef valve DHV 712-R contans a hgh qualty sprng system and can be adjusted for pressure ranges between bar. If the pressure on the nlet sde of the valves reaches the set pressure the valve opens relably. Wth ts specal pston desgn the DHV 712-R s 100% back pressure tght and therefore addtonally acts as a non return valve. In combnaton wth pulsatng dosng pumps the 712-R reaches an outstandng and lowvbraton regulaton result. Pressure relef valve DHV 712 The DHV 712 s equpped wth the same back pressure tght pston desgn as the 712-R. It s desgned for bgger dameters and avalable for dfferent pressure ranges. Lke all other ASV pressure relef valves t can be precsely adjusted whle beng pressursed. The hgh qualty PTFE lner on the actuaton daphragm makes t the perfect match for a wde range of aggressve fluds. The seat seal s a guded pston desgn. Wth the extended actuator bonnet very precse adjustment over the full pressure range of bar can be acheved. The hgh reproducblty of the actuaton pressure and the relable and low-vbraton regulaton behavour are the key features of ths valve. Pressure relef valve DHV 715 Pressure relef valve DHV 716 The daphragm operated DHV 718 s a very relable and straght forward desgn, that s avalable also for very small dameters. It s equpped wth the same hgh- qualty PTFElned daphragm as all the other ASV pressure relef valves. But whle t s a daphragm-only desgn t s also sutable for partly partcleloaded or contamnated fluds. The pressure relef valves DHV 715 and DHV 716 operate along the same workng prncples as the DHV 725. They are ftted wth dfferent sprng packages and desgned for dfferent pressure ranges. Because of ther dfferent swtchng ponts the valves of seres DHV 715, DHV 716 and DHV 725 cover a wde range of dfferent applcatons and pressure settngs. The downstream sde from the valve s therefore securely protected from beng over-pressursed. The DMV 750 s one of the bggest avalable pressure reducng valves made of thermoplastcs. It s equpped wth a hgh-grade PTFE lned daphragm. The valve features a very constant and low vbraton regulaton behavour and the hgh reproducblty of the set nlet pressure. The DMV has an output range from bar. Lke all other ASV pressure valves t s ftted wth a PTFE coated daphragm and s therefore sutable for most aggressve fluds. DMV 765 Ths valve has the same basc desgns as the DMV 755, but s ftted wth an extended actuator bonnet and a correspondngly specfc sprng package. 14 Pressure gauge guard MDM 902 Pressure gauge guard MDM 902 Pressure gauge guards protect pressure meters from aggressve fluds. The system pressure s transferred by a generously dmensoned separatng daphragm and a transmtter lqud to the pressure meter. Standard socket connectors and female thread ports allow an easy nstallaton. Pressure gauges ASV offers a wde varety of pressure gauges accordng to chemcal ndustry standards. 15 Pressure and temperature sensor PTM Pressure and temperature sensor PTM ASV Stübbe`s PTM s an ntellgent sensor unt for montorng pressure and temperature ranges. The sensor conssts of a compact housng and can be easly ntegrated nto ppelne systems by means of a DN 25 fttng accordng to DIN The chp nsde the sensor can process pressures from 0-10 bar and temperatures from 0-70 C. It s deal as a pump guard or for flter montorng and s also avalable wth a separated sensor probe comparable to the HFT. Programmng and optcal output of the data from the PTM happens by means of an optonal plug-n dsplay. Ths has an nternal memory and can be used to operate several PTM unts and convenently copy once preset system settngs onto all unts nsde a system. Lke wth all other ASV plug-n dsplay sensors the user can choose from varous sgnal output nterfaces. For connectng to a PLC or the drect control of a system component a current output verson 0/4..20 ma s avalable for constant feedback. Optonally the unt can be suppled wth a relay module. 16 Dosng- and Proportonal ball valves Szes DN 10 - DN 50 Water jet pump SP 820 Szes DN 10 - DN 80 ProfDos 101 C 100 Prop Water jet pump SP 820 The ProfDos 101 s sutable for fne dong or regulaton purposes. The valve opens and closes over a 180 angle and can be adjusted very precsely. Wth the scale underneath the hand lever settngs can be reproduced and documented. The dosng ball valves, lke all other valves from the Prof seres, has a standard thread connecton accordng to DIN The proportonal ball valve C 100 Prop s a product from the C 100 range. The proportonal ball makes t a regulaton devce wth a lnear flow characterstc. The flow volumes are smlar to a daphragm valve MV 310 of the same sze. The proportonal ball valve has a standard 90 degree actuaton and comes wth an clearly readable scale on all manually operated valves. Water jet pumps work accordng to the venturprncple. The SP 820 s used n a host of applcatons such as blendng, mxng, dosng and transportng of lquds and gasses. It s self-prmng, got no movng mechancal parts and s very robust and relable.
