2 VIAFLO 96 Unique Multichannel microplate pipetting is a growing task because of the need to increase productivity and improve the quality of the data obtained by increased numbers of replicates. In addition to the large investments that are traditionally required to obtain such instrumentation, many customers are also concerned about the complexities associated with using an automated system. INTEGRA s VIAFLO 96 introduces a totally new concept in 96 well pipetting, which is affordable and simple to use. It renders 96 channel pipetting as easy as manual single channel pipetting. VIAFLO 96 performs all tasks easily in multiwell format, just as a standard pipette would in a single tube. Applications may include: Replication or reformatting of plates Transfer of reagents and compounds from plate to plate or within plates Gentle and convenient dissolution or re-suspension of solid compounds Fast execution of serial dilutions by columns Increment dispensing to multiple plates VIAFLO 96 is used like a hand-held pipette. The movement and positioning of the 96 channel pipette is supported by a servo assisted steering mechanism which allows fast, precise and stress free multichannel pipetting. Just by moving the assisted pipetting head between two plate positions, as you would move a hand-held pipette, you are able to simply perform 96 channel pipetting! 3 Reliable VIAFLO 96 works with GripTips, which can be used for all VIAFLO electronic pipettes. The combination of VIAFLO s Tri-Lobe tip fitting and GripTips provides the highest lateral resistance on the market and the most consistent tip seal in the industry. This ensures that all tips are at an identical height, ideal for dispenses requiring the touch-off of liquids. Due to high precision and safety requirements, VIAFLO 96 works with selected GripTips. The filtered GripTips are a reliable protection against contamination of the pipetting head by splashes or aerosols, keeping the heads safe and clean and therefore reducing service requirements to an absolute minimum. Small-sized The compact and ergonomic design allows the placement of the VIAFLO 96 into most laminar flow hoods to allow work under sterile conditions. 5 Flexible Four interchangeable pipetting heads and the corresponding GripTips guarantee optimal matching of the available volume range to the application performed. The GripTips are comfortably loaded and ejected without any physical effort due to a power assisted mechanism activated by a push button.
