4 4 Universal underpacking Universal underpacking for printing blankets Finito is an innovative product, designed to change both the technological and commercial concept of underpacking blankets. This universal underpacking for offset presses offers a better mechanical stress resistance and print quality. Versatile and easy to use thanks even to the handy box ready-to-use. Finito replaces old underpacking blankets and calibrated papers with an exclusive innovative material, eliminating all storage and handling problems of conventional underpacking. The exclusive concept of this new underpacking is to offer a ready to use sheet with the correct thickness recommended by all the press manufacturers. 5 Universal underpacking 5 How does Finito work? Finito is installed on the press just like underblankets and/or calibrated papers. Technical structure of Finito The core structure is a modified TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) used in various thicknesses laminated on polyester films. One reusable polyester films (thickness of 0.05 mm) is applied using stick-tear off technology. Finito is available in different versions. 6 6 Blanket Finito foil Cold foil application in-line on a sheet-fed offset press is a modern technology to achieve extraordinary metallic effect on paper and carton board. Two units are required for cold foil application. The first applies a paste adhesive to all or part of the printing material using a conventional offset plate, while the second incorporates the cold-foil module with the metal foil take-up and take-off unit. The foil is fed through the printing nip between the blanket and impression cylinders. The pressure of the blanket transfers the metal layer of the foil onto those parts of the printing material to which adhesive has been applied. When the substrate is removed, the metal layer remains on the printing material. Finito foil is a special product developed for cold foil application. Finito foil allows an even pressure throughout the width achieving a very high adhesion. That feature has shown the chance to decrease the amount of adhesive to be applied. The high release of its surface allows a regular and defect-free removal of the unused foil. The very low roughness of the top layer allows to achieve a very smooth laminated foil onto the paper or the carton board. Moreover the special characteristics of the top layer, which takes advantage of nanotechnology in its preparation, give a very high rub and scratch resistant surface. 7 Blanket 7 Finito no stop - Finito no stop UV Finito no stop is a total new concept that represents a new vision of the printing blanket and its underpacking. Finito no stop is a patented product that combines the technology of the best conventional printing blanket with the technology of the innovative underpacking Finito. This product is developed for high quality sheet fed printing, web heat set printing and packaging; at temperature above 20 C it offers a high smash resistance along with superb printing quality. Finito no stop improves the ink release and gives economical benefits during its life cycle. Finito no stop is suitable for both standard oil based inks and modern UV inks. 8 8 Plate coating Finito no stick Finito no stick is a complete range of plates and blankets for varnishing. Due to its unique structure and special top formulation, Finito no stick products show excellent transfer performance for both aqueous and UV varnish. Finito no stick can be easily cut and stripped, both manually and by CAD / CAM plotter. In order to optimize the performance of Finito no stick and Finito no stick plus in thickness 1.15 mm and 1.35 mm, special compressible underpacking is available in a wide range of thicknesses (1.2 mm mm mm mm mm mm). Finito no stick 2 - Finito no stick 3 Finito no stick 2 and Finito no stick 3 represent the most advanced technology for varnishing plates. Thanks to the exclusive structure of the compressible layer and the special compound of the top it allows an excellent transfer of the varnish either waterborne and UV. Plate can be handled manually or by a CAD/CAM plotter. Both versions meet all users needs being available in two different styles of bottom: no stick 2 with the compressible layer at the bottom for those who are looking a stronger stability on the cylinder and no stick 3 for those who are more concern to varnish transfer. Finito no stick 4 - Finito no stick 5 Finito no stick 4 and Finito no stick 5 are new varnishing plate among Finito Family. Developed to offer a good transfer for either waterborne and UV varnishes, these plate can be easily stripped manually or by a CAD/CAM plotter. Furthermore thanks to the transparency and the high contrast of the material the preparation of the spot printing area will be very easy.

Finito dress is an innovative product based on a special self-adhesive transparent film especially studied to protect from ink or glue stain the printing machine, either offset or web offset, flexo, gravure, silk screen or digital printing. Finito dress, thanks to its special finishing, shows excellent characteristics of scratch and rub resistance so as to allow to leave unchanged the aesthetic aspect of the printing machine, either offset or web offset, flexo, gravure, silk screen or digital printing. Finito dress is characterized by a surface able to reject all kind of inks, overprint varnishes or adhesives used in the publication and advertising industry, in the packaging and converting sector and in visual communication. Finito dress is especially studied to be easily applied to all metallic and plastic surfaces of the printing machine structures and, when necessary, can be easily replaced with no risk of residuals of adhesive left on the dressed surface. For the proper and accurate application of Finito dress a service is available in all European countries as well as in the rest of the world with specialized teams. Finito dress, thanks to an agreement with the major machine manufacturers, can be supplied in a personalized kit, dye-cut according to the different machine models for an easier and more precise application. The film can be personalized with brand name, logo design or according to customer requirement. Finito dress, thanks to its special surface treatment, shows a high chemical resistance and can be easily cleaned by the most common detergents for the publication and advertising industry, for the packaging and converting sector and in visual communication. Finito dress is supplied with thickness ranging from 75 to 250 μm, in 50 mt rolls, width 1300 mm o in boxes of dye-cut sheets according to the design of every printing and varnishing units of the major printing machine manufactures, either offset or web offset, flexo, gravure, silk screen or digital printing.

11 Press Wrapping Cleaning or removing Finito dress the machine looks new again finishing thermoplastic film adhesive liner Finito dress anti-shock Finito dress anti-shock is an innovative product, especially studied to protect monitors, touchscreens, control console of printing presses and particular areas easy to be scratched, such as where printing plates are placed. It is a self-adhesive modified TPU film treated with a special coating to achieve a high rejection of all kind of inks, overprint varnishes or glues and to get an easily cleanable surface with high resistance to all the most common washes and solvents. Finito dress anti-shock can be easily replaced with no risk of residuals of adhesive left on the dressed surface. It can be applied to almost all plastics and even glass surfaces. Finito dress anti-shock shows a very high mechanical resistance in order to achieve high protection against hits, smashes, scratches and abrasions. Finito dress anti-shock is provided in appropriate dye-cut related to different monitors and console designs. 11
