7 Learn to Dive PADI OPEN WATER COURSE $ ($ $40 levy) Our professional and friendly instructors will provide attentive expert tuition on all Open Water dive courses. Once you have successfully completed your chosen course you will be competent and internationally recognised as a PADI Diver. Inclusions - BBQ lunch provided onboard vessel for Days 3 & 4. All equipment is included. Free city transfers provided. Commences Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays Day 1 - Medical checks and paperwork completed on site at 8am, before classroom & training pool sessions completed. Day 2 - Classroom sessions re-commence & small exam completed and finalising your skills in the training pool. Day 3 - Onboard Evolution we travel to 2 fantastic dive sites on the Great Barrier Reef to conduct a series of training skills in the open water environment. 2 dives are completed. Day 4 - Onboard Evolution we again travel to our dive sites for completion of your course. When 2 dives are completed your Instructor will present you with your Scuba Diving Licence!! NOTE: All students must complete a medical declaration on day 1 of Open Water Course. If required, a Dive Medical is available with Dive Doctor at an extra charge. Medical Form can be found at: A current AS dive medical is required if 45 years+. Minimum Requirements: Students must be able to complete a basic swimming and floating test to complete this course. Students must be deemed fit by Dive Doctor/ Instructor before course commences. Students with Asthma cannot dive. Students must be over the age of 12 years. After a single dive, a wait of 12 hours is recommended before ascending to altitude or if multiple dives are completed, an interval of 24 hours is suggested.
