Direct drive stem design with optimized single seal reduces friction and operates at exceptionally low torque levels. High durometer back-up ring prevents extrusion of o-ring with proven success in extreme conditions. Metal-to-Metal seal of bonnet below threads prevents pressure from accumulating at top of valve body. Unitized plug design of the pressure relief device (PRD) provides excellent flow characteristics.
