Skin Contact: No health effects are expected under normal conditions of use by individuals who are not sensitive or allergic to the active ingredient, neomycin sulfate. Inhalation: No health effects are expected. Ingestion: No health effects are expected. Target Organ Effects: Product contains neomycin sulfate. In sensitive individuals or allergic individuals, following oral or topical absorption, there have been reports of nephrotoxicity and/or neurotoxicity, including ototoxicity. Neuromuscular blockage and respiratory paralysis have also been reported, especially in patients receiving a neuromuscular blocking agent, anesthetics, or massive transfusions of citrate anticoagulated blood.
