2 MSDS DPX-B028 Page 2 CHEMICAL REACTIVITY: STABILITY (CONDITION TO AVOID): The materials are stable when stored in their original unopened containers and under the recommended conditions. See Section INCOMPATIBILLITY (MATERIALS TO AVOID): Water, alcohols, alkalis, amines, oxide, metal compounds. Water reacts with isocyanate materials to form heat, CO2, and insoluble area. A closed container may rupture due to pressure and may become violent, if temperatures are elevated and / or if acids, alkalis, amines, alcohols, metal compounds, or surface active chemicals are also present. HAZARDOUS POLYMERIZATION: It should be noted that Components A and B are, by design, chemically reactive with each other to form polyurethane resins. Such polymerizations should be carried out using recommended equipment and under recommended process conditions. Uncontrolled and hazardous polymerization may occur in reactions between isocyanates and other materials, especially with strong bases such as alkalis, amines and metal salts, or at temperatures above 33F. HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS: May include isocyanate mist and vapor, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides, and small amounts of hydrogen cyanid. HEALTH HAZARDS: INGESTION: The single dose oral toxicities are not known, but for each specific material are believed to be low. Based on the available information, no hazards are anticipated from ingestion of the small amounts such as may be incidental to proper industrial handling. SKIN ABSORPTION: An allergic skin reaction is possible for susceptible individuals and repeated exposure may cause skin irritation. Absorption of harmful quantities through the skin are unlikely from a single exposure, even a prolonged single exposure.

3 MSDS DPX-B028 Page 3 HEALTH HAZARDS (continued) : INHALATION: Susceptible individuals may experience respiratory irritation. Vapor pressures are low at room temperature, so exposure is minimal ; however if material is hot, or is ejected under pressure as a spray, concentrations may reach levels which are hazardous even for a single exposure. Acute excessive exposure may cause irritation of the eyes, upper respiratory tract and the lings. Impairment of lung function may occur. THESE EFFECTS MAY NOT BE SEEN IMMEDIATELY, BUT MAY BE DELAYED EYES: Vapor exposure may cause eye irritation. FIRST AID PROCEDURES: EYES CONTACT: Irrigate eyes with flowing water fifteen minutes. Call a physician. The materials may be difficult to remove from the eyes due to their high viscosity. SKIN CONTACT: Wash off with flowing water as in a shower. INHALATION: Remove immediately to fresh air and consult a physician. See Section INGESTION: No adverse effects are expected via this route of exposure under conditions of proper handling. PRECAUTIONS IN HANDLING: STORAGE: Store indoors at 50-95F in the original unopened and sealed containers Store in an area apart from incompatible substances. See Section If the contents of container become contaminated, DO NOT RESEAL THE CONTAMINATED CONTAINER because pressure buildup may cause it to rupture. To avoid contamination, replace material removed from the container with dry nitrogen.

4 MSDS DPX-B028 Page 4 PRECAUTIONS IN HANDLING (continued): SPILLS: Evacuate the area. Wear full protective clothing and use a positive pressure self contained breathing apparatus. Dike the spill and absorb the material with sawdust or other absorbant and place in closed but UNSEALED containers. Take the containers outdoors or to a well ventilated area. Mix about 10 parts of a neutralizer solution (as explained below) with each part of the isocyanate material and allow to stand (letting the carbon dioxide escape) for 48 hours. Clean the floor with neutralizer solution which also containers 102% added detergent. Allow the neutralizing solution to stand over the contaminated area at least 10 minutes. Mops and brooms used for this operation should be covered with plastic and disposed properly (normally by incineration). NEUTRALIZER SOLUTION: Water containing 3-8% of concentrated ammonium hydroxide or 5-10% of sodium carbonate. DISPOSAL: Incinerate of dispose of in a landfill as may be applicable under federal, state, and local regulations. Fill empty drums with water and allow to stand unsealed for 48 hours. After this water treatment, rinse each drum thoroughly and punch it with holes or crush it to prevent its reuse. Dispose in an approved landfill or by another approved method.

5 MSDS DPX-B028 Page 5. PRECAUTIONS IN USE: Use with adequate ventilation to maintain isocyanate (MDI) vapor concentrations below the ACGIH and OSHA ceilings of 0.02 ppm. General Work areas should be maintained below these concentration limits, but for emergency situations or for other conditions under which the exposure limits may be exceeded, an approved self-contained breathing apparatus should be use. Wear appropriate equipment to prevent eye or skin contact. Protective clothing should be impervious to isocyanate materials. Equipment which should be available worn as needed includes face shield, gloves, apron, boots, and a chemical suit with breathing air supply. Remove contaminated clothing immediately, wash skin with soap and water, and launder clothing before reuse.
