TiControl provides adjustable minimum and maximum inspiratory time limits for both flow- and time-triggered breaths. An increase in Ti Min time will prolong the inspiration time and therefore increase the tidal volume. Pressure controlled mode can be achieved by setting Ti Min and Ti Max on the same value/time. 4 Titration has never been more flexible With the VPAP systems clinicians can titrate patients on three different platforms On the device Via ResControl II Via TxControl On the device VPAP IV ST now has two setting menus to make the setup/titration easier and quicker. The less common settings are displayed in the Advanced settings menu. Three screens (four when S8 ResLink II is attached) displaying measurements that are available during ventilation. This provides superior monitoring of the treatment. Via ResControl II ResControl II is a stand-alone unit that can remotely monitor and adjust parameters of all ResMed flow generators, it has a large LCD display that provides clinician with a superior overview of the treatment. All parameters are displayed and can easily be adjusted. It can be used either on the bedside or in the control room when not using a TxControl on a PC. ResControl II has analog outputs that can be connected to a PSG system. The data from the flow generator can therefore be transferred to the PSG system for more diagnostic interpretation, like Flow leak pressure, but also Ventilation minute and tidal volume. Via TxControl TxControl is ResMeds software that replicates the function of ResControl II but uses a computer for its display. When using TxControl, a clinic can monitor and adjust treatment on several patients simultaneously using the same PC. In addition to saving space in the control room, the soft transparency feature allows to have it on the top of other monitoring software such as a PSG. The combination of TxControl and ResControl offers a bedside unit with a large screen and the possibility of PSG output monitored from the control room PC.
