1 P a g e 1 Course Synopsis Working at Height for General Industries Trainer/Supervisor/Rescuer/Inspector/Installer (CS WAH-TSRII) Course Code: WAH-TSRII Version: English 3.0 Duration: 4 Days / 36 Hours / 8am to 6pm (8am to 8pm on 3 rd Day) Location: Block 61 Ubi Rd 1. Level 4. Unit Trainer to Student Ratio: 1 to 6 Style: Competency-Based, requiring 100% pass mark throughout. Target Audience: Any and all personnel at a Supervisor Level or above, who s work activities include: working at height and supervising work at height; inspecting and installing fall protection equipment; providing emergency response while working at height, and; delivering Operator Level working at height training. Overview: This course provides the Trainer Training element for the Capital Safety Non Commercial Associate Trainer (NCAT) Program. This program provides students with their own Working at Height Supervisor/ Rescuer/Inspector/Installer level certifications, as well as coaching the students in the delivery of the Working at Height Operator level course materials. Students may only undertake this course where they, or their employer, has signed the NCAT Agreement and paid the NCAT Once Off License Fee. Upon successfully completing this course, the student will be issued with a full courseware bundle for Working at Height Operator level, which they will be licensed to deliver in-house to their own employees or direct contractors, and strictly for non-commercial purposes. This course has been designed to meet or exceed the minimum standard for Working at Height Training for Trainer/Supervisor/Rescuer/Inspector/Installer Level (Competent Person Trainer/Competent Person/Competent Inspector/Competent Rescuer), as stipulated by ANSI Z359.2 and OSHA This course is aimed at delivering students the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to competently and safely: work at height and supervise work at height; inspect and install key fall protection products; conduct rescue from height, and; deliver Operator Level (Authorized Person) Working at Height Training. This course has been contextualized to address the working activities, hazards and fall protection equipment used in General Industry.

5 P a g e 5 Student Requirements: Students should wear comfortable lace-up trainers or safety shoes. Slip-on shoes of any kind will not be permitted for practical activities. Students should also wear long trousers or jeans, and a comfortable t- shirt or polo shirt. Students should bring their own prescription safety glasses, otherwise standard safety glasses will be provided. Students must arrange, and pay for their own transportation to and from the training location. Students must bring sufficient money (SG$5-8) per day to purchase their own lunch from onsite food center. Only snacks and drinks will be provided during the class.
