1 Update 1 of September 2017 Year Club Napolitain Français Diving Section Rules 1. What is the Club Napolitain Français (CNF) Under the French MoD welfare structure, the Fedération des Clubs de la Défense (FCD), the CNF is the official structure to support French welfare activities (Board, insurance, treasurer ) The CNF supports different sections, such as cultural visits, soccer. and diving. Member s fee o CNF: 25 ; including insurance (15 value). o For the diving section: free. Honorary member: discovery and limited dive: free. 2. What is the CNF- diving section : Facilitator to discover or practice diving or snorkeling activities. Platform to exchange information to practice snorkeling and diving activities. (Technical advice, tips, common activities ) 3. A Partnership with a diving center : SUBAIA diving center Subaia is our reference center for training and try scuba diving for 2017 year. Selected for: Quality of the courses/instructor (recreational or technical). Scuba School International (SSI) / PADI : o E learning in 25 different languages. o Practice in English or Italian. Negotiated prices Open all year long 4. Plan dives at different places. Abruzes, Castellaromare di stabia, Ponza island, Amalfi coast

2 5. Maintain and develop water comfort. Initial aim: develop water comfort (swimming, snorkeling and free diving). Place: Lago Patria base swimming pool (when open). Time: Tuesday from 17h15 to18h30. Dedicated water lane. Equipment to bring : o Minimum: swim suit. Activities restricted to swim and free diving, o Optimum: swim suit, fins, mask, snorkel and 1 kg weight belt. 6. Discovery: Scuba trial: Initial aim: Discover diving in a confined and protected area (swimming pool). Place: Lago Patria (Villa Vittoria or JFCNP) swimming pool. Cost: 25. No medical check required. Spring and summer time / 1 or 2 time a month / Wednesday from 17h30 to Discovery: Scuba Diving trial: Initial aim: Discover diving in a unique area. Place: Baia s archeological site. Cost: 70. No medical check required. All year long with a focus between spring and fall/autumn. 8. Learning (medical check required) Scuba diving courses: o Open water diver (minimum 2 divers, 300 / student, all included except meal) and rental s Subaia equipment free for the rest of 2017 for dive with Subaia, o Advanced diver, o. Specialty courses: o Navigation, o Night and limited visibility), o NITROX, o Dry suit, o..

3 9. Diving with Subaia (medical check required) Place: Baia, Naples bay, Procida, Ischia, Nisida. Price: Normal: minumum 35 / dive. o 35 / dive (15 liter tank, weights and guide), o 15 / day for renting full equipment (Fins, mask, snorkel, wetsuit, BCD and regulator) or : Wetsuit: 7, BCD: 7, Regulator: 8, Diving computer: 10, Finns, mask, snorkel, 8, Torch/Flashlight: CNF s member or other FCD s member: minimum 29 / dive. o 29 / dive (15 liters tank, weights and guide), o 15 / day for renting full equipment (Fins, mask, snorkel, wetsuit, BCD and regulator) or : o 7 / day for renting CNF full equipment (wetsuit, BCD and regulator except Finns, mask, snorkel), o or CNF s equipment : Wetsuit: 3 BCD: 3, Regulator: 3, Dive computer: 3, Torch/Flashlight: 4. Honorary CNF member but booking via CNF: minimum 32 / dive. o 32 / dive (15 liters tank, weights and guide), o 15 / day for renting a full equipment (Finns, mask, snorkel, wetsuit, BCD and regulator) or : o 10 / day for renting a CNF full equipment (wetsuit, BCD and regulator except Finns, mask, snorkel), o or CNF s equipment : Wetsuit: 5 BCD: 5, Regulator: 5, Dive computer: 5, Torch/Flashlight: Log Book. Each diver (except student or scuba diving trials) has to register his dive parameters in the CNF log book. The permanent log book is stored in the Subaia diving center. The temporary log book travels with the diver in charge. For non-club dives, but with CNF equipment, the diver will send the parameters to the diving section head.

4 11. Payment Single dive and CNF equipment rental: o CNF (CNF s treasurer or diving section head or deputy) by cash or bank transfert. Other (courses, discovery, option as archeological park, long distance, night, rent ): o SUBAIA (cash). 12. Insurances. General : FCD License Specific : o Resort and diving center: Diving center s insurance. o Other dive place and dives in foreign countries : Proposals : For FFESSM s certificates : Assurances AXA Individuelles Accident Complémentaires Plongeurs (4 types de contrats) ; via licence FFESSM valide. For other certificates or guide/teaching activities: DAN. 13. Contact and responsibilities Yves-Marie DENAT : Section head, liaison with SUBAIA and technics. Guillaume LE DORTZ : Deputy section head and equipment manager. Others: to be developed.

5 Annex 1 CNF s equipment. 1. Issue: Directly coordinated with the equipment manager. The payment of rent is made with the treasurer of the CNF or with the equipment s manager upon return. 2. Return: Equipment must be return by Thursday the week following issue. Longer periods are available only with the agreement of the administrator of the equipment. The equipment must be returned clean and in good conditions. (Purged, dry ) Member will immediately report to the board any dysfunctional equipment. 3. Responsibilities: The leased equipment is under the full responsibility of the member. While under its possession, the member should be able to check and properly use it. For any malfunction or unknown use, member should immediately stop using the equipment and report to an instructor or board member who will take all appropriates measures. For losses, theft or deterioration; the cost to repair or replace the equipment are borne entirely by the borrower. The use of equipment for other activities than organized by CNF-Diving has to be approved by the section head or his deputy.

For minor, attach an authorization from guardian (no need for scuba diving try, except if the parents are not present) and a hand-written cover letter from the candidate.
