2 & The outstanding feature of the V series lances is their round head with its optimized ratio of interior to exterior surface. In conjunction with countersunk aluminum nozzles, the head remains free of ice even in adverse conditions. In addition to the standard V3, there is also an EE (energy effi ciency) version. The EE version boasts a 50% reduction in air consumption thanks to the further development of nozzles and nucleators. The inside surface is twice as big as the outer surface thanks to a honeycomb system. This allows a special heat transfer system which keeps the head free of ice even in adverse conditions without any additional energy input. The nozzles are made of anodized aluminum and are recessed in the surface of the head for optimum performance. Wear-resistant ceramic inserts guarantee a consistently high quality of snow over the years.

It comes as standard, as do the lightweight plug-in connector, the fi lter and the YB valve in the pit. The overground valve block is positioned on the lance pipe in such a way that the fi lter cartridge can be cleaned without climbing down into the pit. 3 Compressor. The oil-free piston compressor with integrated cooling circuit requires very little maintenance and is also impressively powerful due to its compact dimensions. 4 Plug-in base. The simple and sturdy plug-in connection of the mechanical stand makes it quick and effi cient to fi t on initial installation and just as easy to dismantle. The new plug-in base has a double hole gage and a fl at base therefore it is suitable for various pit and concrete foundations.

6 Lightweight lance construction. The robust galvanized steel base may be compact but it provides great stability. The manual height adjustment mechanism and the horizontal rotating device are easy to access and simple to operate. The optional hydraulic height adjustment cylinder combines pump and tank in one unit and allows the height of the lance to be easily adjusted with very little effort. The built-in throttle valve prevents sudden jerking.
