Substances of this class are assigned to one of the three following divisions based on the primary hazard of the gas. 2.1 Flammable Gases, 2.2 Non Flammable, Non Toxic Gases, 2.3 Toxic Gases Segregation of gas cylinders with in the store shall comply with the following: (a) Gases of Class 2.1 shall be segregated from those of Class 2.3 or Class 2.2/5.1 by at least 3m. NOTE: The intervening distance may be used for the storage of Class 2.2 gases. (b) Gases of Class 2.3 shall be segregated from gases of Class 2.1 or 2.2/5.1 by at least 3m.
