All operators must be properly trained Operation burns from open cabin Correct PPE usage Operation warning device (horn) Pre-start checklist making sure horn works and reversing alarm Operation front grader blade, tall swing, recovery point Design compliance - Burns collision Engine exhaust is fitted with a guard to prevent injury Safety beacon is fitted
4 Entrapment There are two operator exits. These must be accessible at all crushing Seat belt must be free from and worn during operations crushing Movement awareness alarm must be fully functional and serviceable Crushing ROPS are fitted, permanent must be attached. Seat belt must be worn at all Equipment Design burns, striking Hydraulic hoses must be inspected daily before each use though prestart checklists. Never use any body parts to check for leaks. Always use cardboard to check for leaks entanglement incorrect operation. Intuitive controls Guards must be fully functional Maintain plant at all slipping. Access/Egress Safe access/egress to work area must be maintained at all incorrect operation, slipping Control levers and foot controls must be kept non-slip burns, electric shock The constraint and cover must be present and fully functional at all crushing FOPs Risk assessment must be conducted burns striking The guard between hydraulic hoses must be in place at all poor visibility Lights must be fully functional. If they fail work must cease immediately
5 Maintenance incorrect operation Manufacturers Manual must be available at all. JSEA must be completed daily Maintenance operational malfunction Maintain service and maintenance records. Conduct regular inspections Maintenance ROPS ROPS must be free from Equipment Maintenance Maintenance burns, striking, hydraulic Hoses must be free from. Daily inspection of hoses Maintenance operational malfunction Minor leaks must be fixed within 14 days. Pre start checklists must be completed to avoid major and minor leaks
