Our information includes overviews for over 50 countries worldwide, spans over 1,000 separate dive sites and includes dive site maps for each location, photos and even diving videos and wreck illustrations. In the five years since dive site directory was established we have grown the business into position as one of the highest ranking diving web sites for information related diving searches. This means that if a diver is looking for information on a diving location to help them plan a diving holiday online they are highly likely to find and browse dive site directory in the process. As our information is and always will be provided on a free basis, we have an excellent relationship with the diving community. So good in fact that more often than not we find it difficult to keep up with the flow of excellent reviews and images they kindly submit through the web site itself. Due to the way dive site directory s information is provided by our reader base, site visitors can be sure that they are receiving impartial, accurate information about diving locations. We are very happy to say that we receive a great deal of positive feedback from our readers who are very happy with the service which we provide to them. Campaigns on dive site directory can consist of a banner on a single dive site page or on a number of pages spanning several levels and across multiple regions. The structure below should serve only as a guide; we aim to please and feel that it is on our interest to serve our clients as best we can. 6 Advertorials & Business Listings Advertorials As well as serving as an index and jumping off point for the rest of the directory our home page is also the perfect place to feature advertorial and promotional content. We have a Diving News section in which previous advertisers have promoted books and diving guides, competitions and contests. For a flat rate of 250 per month you have the option of placing a 180x150px rectangle ad and up to 400 words of copy (including any HTML links you choose). Below is a recent example of advertorial content for a British Airways competition to win a luxury travel to the Westmoreland Estate in Barbados. Business Listings As the directory is something of a diver s guide, it seemed natural for us to include links to hotels, dive charters, tour operators and travel agents offering services in the related regions. Our visitors would then be able to read reviews on the dive sites and also locate businesses in the area open to dive travelers. To this end we have a Resources & Links section on the left side of every page with sub headings for Dive Centers, Apartments & Villas etc. If a subheading for your business does not seem to exist we can create it for you! The links are shown in such a way as to be a natural progression from browsing the dive site pages for a location down into visiting the web sites of businesses listed in that location. Examples of link placement can be seen on the next page. An annual fee of 48 (just 4 a month) will secure you a text link with your business name to a specified page on your website. We ve received many enquires from the site and it has increased our exposure dramatically. We now have a conversion ratio of 3.6% (views to clicks), which is better than our Google advert which gets %. The location of the advert on the site is perfect. Its positioning could not be better.
