A pin is used for selecting the load in order to adjust the exercise effort level. The knob can be used to increase the selected workload by 2.5 kg. Pull on the knob and lower it until the extra weight rests on the first plate in the weight stack. To remove this extra weight, simply return the knob to its original position. 10

14 and the cable The equipment does not have any sharp corners. All the parts which come into contact with the body are adequately protected with rubber coverings or padding. The weight stack is enclosed in protective panels. WARNING It is important to pay attention to the labels affixed to, as they provide information about possible risks and hazards. Pay particular attention to the parts of with labels indicating the DANGER OF SQUASHING _targ_schiacciamento 14

15 and the cable The equipment is supplied fully assembled in a carton and protected by cellophane wrapping, and secured to a pallet. The equipment can be lifted and handled using normal lifting machine. In order to ensure the safety of persons and property, carefully determine the lifting and handling machine used as a function of the place of installation

16 and the cable To guarantee safe, comfortable and effective use of, the place of installation must comply with certain specific requirements; in particular, before choosing where to install it is recommended to check the following: - temperature between +10 C and +25 C; - sufficient ventilation to maintain a humidity level between 20% and 90%, when is in use; - adequate lighting, so that the physical exercise takes place in pleasant and relaxing conditions; - sufficient clearance on all sides of, taking into account its maximum dimensions during the movements, necessary for safety reasons; - a flat, stable and vibration-free floor surface, with adequate carrying capacity for s weight. If is installed in a public recreational area, the place must conform to all the requirements prescribed by the regulations in force. WARNING The equipment must be installed and used in a place whose access and supervision are specifically controlled by the owner. 16

17 and the cable The equipment is supplied on a pallet, to which it is secured by means of straps. To remove from the packing: - cut the carton along the bottom and pull it away from the top; - remove the cellophane by pulling it away from the top; cont. 17

18 and the cable - untie the straps securing the equipment to the pallet; - lift from the weight stack side and place it on the ground WARNING Given the weight of, we recommend that more than one person be involved in lifting it. DANGER The packing materials (boxes, bags, etc.) must not be left within the reach of children, as they constitute a possible hazard; nor must they be disposed of in the environment. 18

19 and the cable To move, use normal lifting and handling machine. DANGER The equipment must be moved with great care, due to the risk of it tipping over. Lift from the weight stack side, as shown in the figure. WARNING Given the weight of the equipment, we recommend that more than one person be involved in lifting it. It is recommended to place some padded material between the frame and the lifting machine cont. 19

20 and the cable WARNING When lifting, do not exert pressure against the weight stack guards. Do not use the range of movement (ROM) lever to try to move : danger of HARM and instability

21 and the cable After has been positioned on the floor, check that it is level. The foot (A) is adjustable for this purpose: loosen the lock nut (B) and tighten or loosen the foot until is stable. When this is done, close the lock nut (B) B A 21

22 and the cable WARNING The safety of is assured only on condition that it is carefully inspected for signs of damage and/or wear every two weeks. Replace defective and worn components immediately, or alternatively remove from service. The equipment should always be kept clean and free of dust, in compliance with good hygiene practice, especially if it is used in a gym or by more than one person. To clean the padded parts, use a moist cloth or a sponge and mild soap. Every week, clean the outer parts of using a damp sponge. WARNING Be careful not to rub with excessive force on the drawings and instructions shown on the labels. cont. 22

23 and the cable To lubricate the weight stack guides: - remove the back panel of the weight stack (following the instructions found in the section ); - use a soft cloth to remove any dust and oil residues from the guides; - slightly moisten the cloth with the oil supplied; - using this cloth, apply a very thin layer of lubricant over the guides, being careful not to apply too much; - replace the back panel of the weight stack (following the instructions found in the section in reverse order). For maintenance actions not described in this manual, call in the Technogym. 23

24 and the cable If any of show signs of wear, it is advisable, especially in the interests of hygiene, to replace them completely. In order to replace the pads loosen the screws on the opposite side to the padding. In order to replace seats and backrests loosen the screws on the opposite side to the padding. 25 the cable and The exercise levers are driven by two cables; to replace each cable proceed as follows: - remove the cap (A) from the cam (B); - unscrew the lock nut (C) and the adjuster (D); - slack the cable towards the cam (E) to the extent that the cable locking device (F) goes down under the cam; - extract the cable; D A C B the cable F E cont. 25

26 the cable and the cable - insert the new cable in the cam (E) and make sure that the metal section of the cable goes beyond the hole of the cable locking device (F); - insert the cable locking device (F) under the cam (E) and pull the cable as far as the cable locking device stays locked; - keeping the cable taut all the time, insert the new cable in the cam (B); - keeping the attachment (G) fastened, screw the adjuster (D) and adjust the of the cable; - tighten the lock nut (C) and fit the cap (A). 27 the cable and the cable DANGER ALWAYS use cables supplied directly by Technogym. The cables must always be replaced at the first sign of wear, even if it only affects the outer rubber protection. WARNING Every month, carefully inspect the condition of the cables. 27

28 and the cable To replace the cable, proceed as follows: - remove the back panel of the weight stack (following the instructions found in the section the weight stack panel); - unscrew the screws (A), back off the lock nut (B) and unscrew the adjuster (C); - extract the weight stack cable from the adjuster side; C A B cont. 28

29 and the cable - insert the new weight stack cable beginning on the adjuster side (follow the original path of the cable as shown in the figure); WARNING Pay close attention when passing the cable through the hole in the front panel of the weight stack cont. 29

30 and - put in the screws (A), put in the adjuster (C), and tighten the lock nut (B); - replace the back panel of the weight stack (following the instructions found in the section the weight stack panel in reverse order). 31 and It is possible to take up some of the slack in the weight stack cable using the adjuster (C), after loosening the lock nut (B). For this purpose, you will need to remove the back panel of the weight stack (following the instructions found in the section the weight stack panel). C B the cable WARNING To pull the cable taut after replacement, it may be helpful, when tightening the screws (A), to insert a thickness of approx. 10 mm (1/2") under the first weight in the weight stack A 31

32 and the cable The weight stack panel is attached to the frame with 6 screws. To disassemble the panel (A): - unscrew the 6 screws (B) while holding the panel with one hand; - remove the panel. To reassemble the panel, carry out the above steps in reverse order B A 32

34 and the cable If will not be used for a prolonged period, it is recommended to store it: - in a clean and dry place, covered with a cloth to protect it from dust; - in an environment with a temperature between +10 C and +25 C and a humidity between 20% and 90%. For correct storage, use the original packing materials. 34

35 and the cable It is always good practice to ensure that can never constitute a hazard; therefore do not leave where children might use it as a toy. Do not dispose of in the environment, or in public or private areas accessible to the public. The equipment is made from recyclable materials such as steel, aluminium and plastic, which must be disposed of in the manner prescribed by the urban refuse collection regulations in force, by specialist environmental firms. 35

36 and the cable Sit down and pull up the lever (A) under the front of the seat to set the height so that the handgrips are at the level of the cervical spine. To lower the seat you can remain seated; un-weight the seat to raise it. Select the workload with the pin (B). Use the ROM lever (C) to bring the levers closer and select the starting position. Position your back firmly against the backrest. Take hold of the handgrips symmetrically and rest your forearms on the pads. Adapt a wider stance for greater stability. C B A cont. 36

37 and the cable Close your arms simultaneously, pushing on the pads with your forearms. Your forearms must remain against the pads at all times during the movement. Maintain a smooth controlled speed through the movement while staying in control of the weight. Lower the weight down slowly with the return movement of the last repetition
