2 Page 2 of 5 Section 4 First-aid Measures EYES: Hold eyelids open and rinse the eye continuously with a gently stream of clean running water for at least fifteen minutes. In all cases of eye contamination it is a sensible precaution to seek medical advice. SKIN: Remove contaminated clothing and wash thoroughly with soap and water. Use water alone, if soap is unavailable. Apply a moisturising hand cream, if available. Seek medical attention if any soreness or inflammation of the skin persists or develops later. Launder affected clothing before re-use. INGESTION: May act as a self-emetic i.e. may cause vomiting. If the person is conscious, rinse mouth out with water ensuring that mouthwash is not swallowed. Give about 250mL (2 glasses) of water to drink. Seek medical attention. For advice, contact TOXFREE on 1800HAZMAT ( ) or a Poisons Information Centre (phone eg Australia ; New Zealand ). INHALATION: First aid is unlikely to be required as a result of exposures in normal use but if affected, remove to fresh air. Seek medical attention if symptoms persist. ADVICE TO DOCTOR: Treat symptomatically. Section 5 Fire-fighting Measures EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Use whatever is appropriate for the surrounding fire. Water may be used to cool fire-exposed containers. HAZARDOUS COMBUSTION PRODUCTS: May evolve carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide or oxides of nitrogen if heated to decomposition in a fire situation. PRECAUTIONS: Fire fighters should wear self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing. Section 6 Accidental Release Measures Remove unnecessary personnel from the affected area. Wear protective equipment as specified for handling. Cover with an absorbent such as earth, sand or a commercial oil absorber. Sweep up and collect in sealable containers. Dispose to approved landfill. Section 7 Handling and Storage Avoid any contact with the skin or eyes. Avoid breathing vapours. Store in cool, dry area, away from heat. Keep containers sealed when not in use

Except where modified by consideration of excursion limits, exposure standards apply to long term exposure to a substance over an eight-hour day, for a five-day working week, over an entire working life. Except for short-term exposure limits (STELs), or where a peak value has been assigned, the exposure standards for airborne contaminants are expressed as a time-weighted average (TWA) concentration of that substance over an eight-hour working day, for a five-day working week. Use mechanical and/or natural ventilation to ensure that vapour levels are maintained below the recommended exposure standard. PERSONAL PROTECTION: Respirator Type (AS 1716) - For brush or roller application, with good ventilation, respiratory protection is unlikely to be required. For spray application, wear an approved cartridge respirator fitted with a cartridge suitable for ammonia vapours and particulates. Eye Protection - Eye protection is required to prevent splashing in the eyes, eg. Safety glasses with side shields or chemical goggles. Wear full-face shield if mixing or pouring operations pose risk of splashes. An eye wash station is suggested as a good work place practice. Glove Type - Wear nitrile, viton, neoprene or other similar waterproof gloves to keep skin contact to a minimum.
