1 2016 U18 NATIONALS RACE NOTICE MENS & LADIES GIANT SLALOM Feb 23-24, 2016 Location: Event: The Georgian Peaks Club Peaks Rd., Thornbury, ON Giant Slalom *NJC/February 23 rd, 2016 Codex: Men: 1257 Ladies: 5926 NJR/February 24 th, 2016 Codex: Men: 0856 Ladies: 5927 *Please note the NJC designated races are for U18 aged athletes only Race Hill: Rogers Run Homologation 9957/12/10 Training Hill: Sanction: Registration: Minute Mile FIS, Alpine Canada Alpin, Alpine Ontario Alpin OFFICIAL FIS ENTRY FORM MUST BE USED Entries must be submitted to Alpine Ontario no later than February 12, 2016 *Any athlete being pulled from the entry must be done 48 hours prior to the team captain s meeting or the division/club responsible for entry will be billed. *Changes of race entries must be submitted no later than two (2) hours before the start of the team captain s meeting. (ICR stipulates entries must be submitted not later than 24 hours on or before the draw.) Feb 22 nd 2016 at 6:00pm - Race Headquarters Upstairs in the Whalen Alpine Centre A competitor will not be permitted to start in any FIS International Ski competition who: violates the FIS rules in regard to equipment (art. 222) or commercial markings (art. 207) All equipment must conform to the FIS regulations. The competitor is responsible for the equipment that he/she uses. Equipment will be subject to inspection in start area. All helmets must have conformity label Alpine Comp Equipment, FIS Specifications for Competition Equipment.
