In rder t help prvide a fun safe experience fr bth uphill and dwnhill guests n a 24/7 basis, all uphill travelers are required t fllw Hudsn Bay Muntain Resrt rules. Land Use Hudsn Bay Muntain Resrt leases land frm the Prvince f the British Clumbia, thrugh the Ministry f Frests, Lands and Natural Resurces via a Cntrlled Recreatin Area License. The Cntrlled Recreatin Area license gives the right t Hudsn Bay Muntain Resrt t cntrl access and use by ther persns within the defined bundaries f the Cntrlled Recreatin Area. Hudsn Bay Muntain Resrt is respnsible fr the users f the CRA. Uphill Travel Pass All uphill travelers are required t have a Uphill Travel Pass with pht ID and t sign a Release f Liability, Waiver f Claims, Assumptin f Risks and Indemnity Agreement frm befre accessing pen and designated uphill travel rutes at Hudsn Bay Muntain Resrt. Signature f parent r legal guardian is required fr minr children ages 18 and under n the Release f Liability, Waiver f Claims, Assumptin f Risks and Indemnity Passes must be carried by all uphill travelers at all times whenever they utilize uphill travel rutes n resrt prperty, during bth perating and nn-perating hurs. Please be prepared t present yur pass t resrt persnnel upn request. There is n charge fr an Uphill Travel Pass fr anyne wh has already purchased a Hudsn Bay Muntain Resrt Seasn Pass. Uphill Travel passes are available at the Hudsn Bay Muntain Resrt Guest Service ffice n muntain and at Hudsn Bay Muntain Resrt ffice in Smithers, lcated at 3866 Railway Avenue, please check ur website fr hurs f peratin. Fr anyne wh hasn t purchased a Hudsn Bay Muntain Resrt Seasn Pass, a Uphill Travel Pass can be purchased fr $50. Funds raised frm the sale f the Uphill Travel Pass will be used fr maintenance and upgrades f the Smithers Rtary Club Trail t Twn. The Uphill Travel Pass DOES NOT prvide lift access either up r dwn the muntain

2 Open Uphill Travel Rutes Uphill travel rutes will be made available at Hudsn Bay Muntain Resrt during the winter seasn as cnditins permit. We will pen uphill travel rutes in line with ur ability t effectively manage and perate all functins within the entire resrt. Check fr the current status f uphill travel rutes. Access and Parking fr Uphill Travel Rutes Uphill travel rutes can be accessed frm any f ur parking lts. If parking vernight r arriving befre 9am PLEASE DO NOT use parking lt 1 (at main ldge) as plwing peratins are usually frm 8-9am. Overnight parking shuld be n the high side f Parking lt 2. There is n parking at the Prairie T-Bar, please limit use f this DROP OFF ZONE t 30 minutes, per the psted signage. Park in cmpliance with psted signage, parking n radways is nt permitted. While Traveling Uphill and Dwnhill Befre accessing resrt premises make thers aware f yur uphill travel plans, including anticipated arrival and departure times. Charge yur cell phne battery befre yu g and always travel with yur cell phne. BE AWARE THAT ON-MOUNTAIN CELL PHONE SERVICE IS NOT ALWAYS AVAILBLE OR RELIABLE Always use the buddy system. It s a gd idea t travel with a party f at least three r mre. If yu decide t g alne, be sure t advise smene in advance abut yur activities. Wearing reflective clthing and a bright head lamp is mandatry if yu will be n the muntain in lw light r when it s dark. It s yur respnsibility t make yurself visible t peratins persnnel & all ther muntain users. Yur safety is directly affected by yur judgment. 3 Travel uphill nly n designated rutes indicated by uphill travel icns lcated beside the trail. Travel n the edge f the trail and in single file. Dn t stp in high traffic areas. Be alert and yield t all dwnhill traffic, including skiers and snwbarders. Dgs are nt allwed n Up-Hill Travel Rutes r runs during peratinal hurs. Outside f these times, dgs are welcme, prvided Pet Owners clean up after their pets, and ensure they are under cntrl at all times. Resrt and muntain peratins run 24 hurs a day, 7 days a week.

4 Stay clear f all muntain peratins and equipment, including, but nt limited t grming machines, equipment, snwmbiles and lifts. Always yield t all resrt persnnel, muntain peratins equipment, machines and vehicles. Stay clear f all snw grming peratins. Be alert fr warning beacns n vehicles: be alert fr equipment and machinery. If yu encunter grming peratins, stay ff the trail. Be prepared fr changes in weather and cnditins. Nighttime cnditins and weather are usually very different frm cnditins and weather during the day. Be alert t cntinually changing weather, visibility, surface cnditins and terrain features. Anticipate numerus hazards and dangers including, but nt limited t snw, ice, ruts, bumps, sheer drp-ffs, bare grund, rcks, rts, stumps, trees, pwer ples, lift twers, grming vehicles, snwmbiles, ther skiers and riders, and many ther natural and man-made bjects. Area Bundary If yu decide t leave the ski resrt premises and g beynd the ski area bundary, be aware that Hudsn Bay Muntain Resrt assumes n respnsibility fr safety f, r injury, death r damages t skiers r riders. Backcuntry areas beynd the ski area bundary are nt maintained r checked by ski area persnnel Check the Hudsn Bay Muntain Resrt Trail Map t see ski area bundaries shwn by a dtted red line. Emergencies DURING RESORT OPERATING HOURS: Fr first aid assistance during resrt perating hurs, reprt accidents t any ski patrller r lift peratr. Yu can als stp at the first aid statin lcated at the tp f Panrama T-bar r the first aid statin lcated adjacent t Guest Services Office. DURING RESORT NON-OPERATING HOURS: Ski Patrl is nt present and will be unable t prvide services t uphill travelers during nn-perating hurs. DO NOT cunt n ski area persnnel t be available t assist yu. Uphill travelers assume full respnsibility fr persnal safety, and any injury, death r damages when traveling n resrt premises during nn-perating hurs.
