2 Lift Passes Pre-booked lift passes are issued on arrival saving precious time queuing at the lift pass offices our prices are identical to the prices you can find in resort, and sometimes we have special offers which you can t find anywhere else so you don t pay anything for the service and convenience. The most common lift pass durations are shown below but passes are available for any duration from three days upwards - please contact us for information on these prices. Everyone receives a discounted rate where everyone skis at the child price and children are counted up to 17 years old, as opposed to the normal 12 years old so this is a great bargain for families in general but particularly those with teenagers. When booking family passes, please let us know which family members belong together and provide us with dates of birth for all children. To qualify as a family, the adults and children need to normally share the same surname (although not essential if family relationship can be proven) and be living at the same address. Proof of age, family and residential status may be requested in the resort. Free Ski Passes ** Children under 5 years old and adults over 75 years are free ** Children under 5 years old and adults over 75 years are free. If you would like us to provide free passes, then we will require a copy of the passport and a recent photo clearly showing the face a passport type photograph is ideal. These must be sent at least one in advance by to sales@skiamis.com if we don t receive the ed documents, the free pass order cannot be provided. Page 2 of 13

3 Insurance with your Lift Pass Carré Neige By default we do NOT add insurance to your lift pass as most guests have better alternative travel insurance and it is not advisable to be doubly insured. However, Carré Neige insurance is available at a supplement if required - at 2.80 Euros per person per day. This does not replace proper holiday insurance but will provide some assistance in the case of an accident on the piste. Please let us know when you book if you require this insurance as it cannot be added afterwards. Please note this insurance is not sold or recommended by Ski Amis and you must make your own decision as to its suitability to cover your needs full details of the cover provided are available on their website at Ski Schools New Generation Ski & Snowboard School New Generation are a British ski and snowboard school who teach in English in small and friendly groups. All instructors are fully qualified and are able to teach all levels of skiers or boarders. They also offer a number of special lessons or clinics aimed at specific skills improvements. Not all lessons will run every depending on the availability of instructors and the booking demand so it is essential to check with us regarding availability and to book early. 4 Snowboarding s Description 1 I am a complete beginner or I have done an hour or two on a snowboard 2 I can turn heelside to toeside and toeside to heelside on easy terrain like green slopes or dryslopes I can happily turn on blue slopes. On green runs I link my turns and carry my speed from one turn 3 to the next I am happy riding on red runs. I can ride fast on easy slopes. I can make basic switch turns on easy 4 slopes I can ride on all marked runs. On easy slopes I can grip and carve a narrow track in the snow. I 5 have done a bit of off-piste and freestyle before but want to learn more Adult Ski & Snowboard Group Lessons: Group lessons are the most popular lessons New Generation organises. Their instructors all speak excellent English. They are a family run business with over 80 instructors and therefore are big enough to operate all levels of classes every but still have the personal care to make sure every guest is happy with their holiday. The ski school offers all sorts of specialist lessons and services such as adaptive lessons and off-piste ski touring. Please let us know your level and where possible a little about you such as your objectives for the lessons and your age so the ski school can allocate the most appropriate instructor. If you require off-piste or speed riding, you must let us know so the ski school can allocate one of their specialist instructors. Adults and young children cannot share lessons as the teaching styles are very different and it is not productive to teach them together people sharing an instructor must be at the same level. Lesson prices are for the group specified so for either one or two people for all lessons except for the full day lesson which covers more people. Additional people can be added to the lesson by paying the extra person price for the lesson. New Generation Ski & Snowboard School A one-on-one coaching session or sharing your lesson with friends is one of the best ways to quickly learn. New Generation offer private lessons from 2 hours to all day, on or off piste, lessons or guiding, and skiing or boarding so there really is lots to choose from! As nanny services are a personal preference between the parents and the nanny, we prefer to leave this service to the childcare professionals and we ll leave you to discuss personally with the nanny services to choose the one you feel is most appropriate for your child. Prices for a full time nanny for a full-time start at approximately 700 and go up to around 1,000 for one child the ratios of children to nannies depend on the age of the children and also the charges made for additional children vary between the companies. Most companies will provide half day care as well but many will only accept full bookings during the school holidays you ll need to speak to them yourself to work out the best plan. You certainly need to book early for the peak s as all the nanny services are very much in demand. 10 Equipment Rental We work with Ski Set under a global contract covering all resorts Ski Set are the largest chain of equipment rental providers and are able to provide top quality equipment at all levels in all resorts. Our discounted rates below are for service at the local shop and are for pre-bookings only. Prices are between 40% - 60% discounted from the standard public prices - depending on the level. From time to time, the local shops may offer promotions or additional discounts and in this case we will also pricematch to ensure you have the best deal available. Gold Performance and Platinum Excellence levels allow you to change the equipment once during the if you want to try out different skis or boards or to switch from one to the other. Please note A ski pack consists of skis, boots and poles and does NOT include a helmet which must be added separately if required. Although they are not a legal requirement in France, helmets are strongly recommended for both adults and children. s Bronze Economy (Skis) Lowest price reliable equipment for the skier on a budget equipment which has been downgraded from higher levels due to its age skis in their third year of use and not recommended unless you are trying to keep the costs very low.
