2 ADMS Asessippi Overnight Ski/Snwbard Trip Itinerary Thursday, Feb 26 th 5:00 am Bus arrives in the ADMS parking lt (Students must be there by 5:15 am.) 5:30 am Depart Winnipeg frm ADMS staff parking lt (n waiting arund s be n time!) 9:30 am Arrive at Asessippi Ski Hill. We g directly t the hill. Keep ski clthes n the bus but put everything else dwn belw. 9:45 am Safe ski/snwbard instructin 10:00 am-12:30pm Ski/snwbard with yur buddy 12:30 pm Lunch (bring yur wn frm hme, r buy frm the cafeteria) Yu must check in with yur designated supervisr 1:30 pm-5:30pm - Ski/snwbard with yur buddy 5:30 pm is last run fr the day. Lad the buses and depart fr the htel at 5:50pm. 6:00 pm Check in at the Russell Inn Hand in all electrnic devices & cell phnes t yur designated supervisr 6:30 pm Supper 7:30 pm Swimming fr Grade 7s, Games fr Grade 8s 8:30 pm Swimming fr Grade 8s, Games fr Grade 7s 9:30 pm Dwntime in rms befre bed 10:00 pm Students are in their wn rms, ging t bed, student rms taped in Friday, February 27 th 6:45 am Wake up (get dressed and ready t g) 7:15 am Breakfast 8:15 am Rm check and key hand-in Keep everything yu need fr the day in yur backpack! 8:30 am Buses depart fr Asessippi with all equipment and bags All electrnic devices returned t students n the bus 9:00 am Ski/Snwbard with yur buddy 12:30 Lunch (buy frm cafeteria) Yu must check in with yu designated supervisr 3:15 pm Last run 3:45 pm Bard the buses fr hme (Subway pick up n the way hme) 8:00 pm Arrive back at ADMS (rides shuld be waiting in the parking lt) Meals: Students will have supper and breakfast prvided at the htel. All ther meals are the student s respnsibility. Students are encuraged t bring a bag lunch frm hme fr the first day. Fd available at the ski hill includes typical cafeteria fd. Students als will have an pprtunity t purchase Subway fr the ride hme fr arund $6-$9 (must be rdered in advance thrugh the schl).

3 Bus Rules Student Expectatins n Ski / Snwbard Trip Be respectful (space, nise level, persnal belngings, etc.) Remain seated at all times Students n medical plans must bring their medicatins ON THE BUS. Clean up after yurself and use the garbage bags prvided Generally, where yu sit ging t Russell is where yu sit returning t Winnipeg At the Htel Yu are guests in the htel and yu are representing Arthur Day. Be n yur best behaviur at all times. Walking in the halls and keep hallways clear N bys in girls rms r girls in bys rms Meeting areas are: the pl, mvie rm, and games rm. N smking is allwed. Remember that yu are nt the nly nes in the htel. Nise levels must be kept lw. Stay in ur designated hallways. Once rm checks are made, n ne is t leave the rm until wake up call. Pl Rules: A swimming time frame will be prvided fr students, during which a staff member must be present. A lifeguard must be present as well. Wrist band required N running, diving r rugh play Slide Rules Maximum 2 at a time Wait until sliders exit the bttm befre sliding N head first r knee slides At the Ski Hill: Meeting/Lessn/Test n Day 1 Always ski/snwbard with yur buddy. Always ski/snwbard within yur ability. When ging up the main chairlift, always start by ging t yur right when yu get ff. Students n medical plans must bring their medicatins ON THE HILL. Watch the message bard at the lift. Any imprtant messages will be psted n this bard. There is a clck in the lift shack at the barding area f bth quad and triple chair lifts. Student with their wn equipment: Lcks are recmmended Leashes n snwbards are mandatry. Helmets are mandatry fr everyne Limited lckers are available fr rental at the ski hill fr $1.00. Yu may want t cnsider sharing a lcker with ne r tw peple. Students can nly make utside phne calls frm the pay phnes in the htel lbby r at the ski hill. Htel phnes will nt wrk in the rms. Cell phnes can be used fr emergencies and cmmunicatin with hme. Cell phnes must be turned in t the designated teacher upn arrival at the htel. They will be returned at the bus n the way back t the ski hill the next mrning. Students will be respnsible fr their wn phnes n the bus and at the hill the schl is nt respnsible fr missing r damaged phnes. Htel phne number is: r

4 This is a schl event, and therefre it ges withut saying that n drugs, alchl r inapprpriate behaviur will be tlerated. Cnsequences will be at the discretin f the chapernes fr any disciplinary actin. Students whse actins endanger themselves r thers in any way will be asked t leave the trip. It is the respnsibility f the student s family t prvide transprtatin hme.
