Check out some great on mountain dining at Lizard Creek, Corner Pocket Brassiere or Kelsey s. 8:00pm-Late Ski Canada Magazine Ski Test The Royal in Historic Downtown Fernie, st Ave. See event poster attached. - Open party for Ski Canada Ski Testers, Reps and Fernie locals and visitors! Drink specials. - Doors open at 8pm, Live DJ starts at 9pm - Dress up Theme Crazy Hair Party!! Prizes for best hairdo!! - Thanks to the Reps from Atomic, Fischer, Marker, K2 and The Guide s Hut in Fernie for donating prizing!! - Local Evening Shuttle available from resort to town - $3/person each way. Shuttle schedule is attached (cheaper option than a cab). NOTE: shuttle operator will provide an extra run from The Royal to the Resort departing from The Royal at midnight. 6 Ski Canada Test Location Information & Directions: Slopeside Café Main Plaza - Base area of Resort Griz Daylodge Main Plaza - Base area of Resort Griz Bar Main Plaza - Base area above the Griz Daylodge Maintenance Shop Base Area - Head up ski hill road at the y intersection head left and take the road straight up past all the parking lots. You will see an gated entrance (gate will be open) that says Authorized Vehicles Only take that road up and as it winds around to the right the parking lot will open up and you will see the shop (go past the smaller building on your right, the shop is a large building with big bay doors). The cat box will be sitting out front. Just load your skis into the box between 7 7:30am (cat will be leaving with the box at 7:30am sharp). - Please do not leave your vehicles up at the shop for the day, please drive them back down and park in lot #2 (lot by the Wolf s Den hotel). Please do not park in Lot #1 (closest to plaza) as that is our priority parking lot and guests have paid to get a pass to park there. Corner Pocket Brassiere In the Griz Inn - Bottom of Mighty Moose Ski Slope, in the Griz Inn Hotel (brown building) Lizard Creek Lodge Base Area - Hotel directly at the bottom of the Elk Chair (green roof). Park Place 742 Highway #3 (town of Fernie) - From Ski Hill Turn left at bottom of the ski hill and take Highway #3 into town. Park Place is the hotel on your right after the second set of traffic lights (green roof). Royal Hotel & Bar 1 st Avenue (town of Fernie) - From Ski Hill Turn left at the bottom of the ski hill and take Highway #3 into town. Turn right on 4 th Street (1 st set of lights). Head up the hill until the 4 way stop (2 nd Avenue). Go straight through the 4 way stop and turn left on 1 st Avenue (before the train tracks). The Royal is at the end of the block. If you are driving and drinking please leave your car downtown and take a shuttle or cab home. **Included in your welcome package is a Fernie Trail Map, Fernie Town map and Shuttle Schedule.
