2 Day 1 - Vancouver to Whistler, British Colombia Press nose to window as you vacate Vancouver via the ever-so-pretty Stanley Park. Then it's along the scenic Sea to Sky Highway with the picture-perfect views of the mountains and coast below. After dinner, the Whistler nightlife will be waiting for you. Day 2 - Whistler Welcome to the holy grail of ski resorts. Planker (skier), brain box (helmet) wearing snowboarder or complete beginner, you've got two days to show the slopes who's boss. -Skiing & snowboarding lift passes for Whistler/Blackcomb -Ziplining in Whistler -Nightlife tour of Whistler Day 3 - Whistler There's a peak-to-peak gondola that'll give you views of volcanic peaks and coastal rainforest. You might just spot one of the 60 brown bears that call Whistler home. Then there's the après-ski. Whistler has one of North America's best après bars and loads of live music on offer. When you're ready to wind-down, there are shops, cafes and galleries too. -Skiing & snowboarding lift passes for Whistler/Blackcomb -Ziplining in Whistler Day 4 - Whistler to Kelowna From white, we go green with a scenic route through Fraser Valley, before climbing the Coquihalla Pass and dropping into British Columbia's biggest wine region, Kelowna. Meaning grizzly bear in Salish, Kelowna is the largest city in BC's Okanagan Valley and is often considered one of the most livable cities in Canada.

3 Day 5 - Kelowna (Big White day trip) Big White is a big deal, it's the highest peak in the Okanagan Highland, with Western Canada's largest night skiing area. There are snowmobile tours, tubing and ice skating, not to mention the 750cm of annual snowfall for skiing and snowboarding. And if the Kelowna Rockets ice hockey team are playing, there's the chance to see them take to their skates. -Skiing & snowboarding lift passes for Big White -Snow-mobile tour Day 6 - Kelowna (Big White day trip) Need a break from the slopes? Channel your inner ice princess on the blades today with a round of optional ice skating. If you'd rather feel the wind in your hair on a cross-country jaunt, hire yourself a snowmobile to soak up the alpine vistas. You won't regret it. Either way, this free day is yours for the taking. -Skiing & snowboarding lift passes for Big White -Snow-mobile tour Day 7 - Kelowna to Banff, Alberta Time to leave Big White behind for Banff, but first straddle the Continental Divide as you saddle up for Kicking Horse Pass. It's high, it's picturesque, and it takes you to Lake Louise for a pitstop. Think cobalt blue waters and soaring, glacier-clad peaks and you'll be somewhere close. If you're game, there's ice skating afoot. Included today: -Banff National Park entry Day 8 - Banff Banff is National Geographic on steroids, it's picture perfect in every way and great for a free day. If you're new to pounding the powder, you can take a lesson and if you're already ready to ride, you've got three world-class ski hills to pick from and 8,000 acres of snow to ski. Then again, you could get some canine friends to do the hard work and see Banff by dogsled.

Today's yours to do as you wish. Hit the slopes for the next round of shredding, find your feet with an ice walk, or follow the cave and basin trail. The possibilities are endless. Or, you could simply rest up before tonight's farewell dinner and trip to the hot springs. Win win. You might just get to take one last trip with new-found friends if you're heading to Calgary airport. The optional shuttle bus is on hand if you need it. -Calgary airport shuttle Accommodation Hostel Plus trips host our most eclectic types of accommodation. While modern hostels make up the majority of your overnights, you may also stay in hotels (free upgrade - yeah!) or lodges. The 'More Inclusions' section details what type of accommodation will be used for overnight stops on your trip. The number of people to a room on Hostel Plus trips will vary. In hostels you will sleep in multi-share rooms and share with between 3 and 7

5 others, while in hotels you will be in twin-share rooms. Lodges sleep 2 people to a room, with 2 rooms per suite. Please note: When staying on a Hostel Plus trip, multi-share accommodation follows a single-sex policy. Optional Activities On all trips we have arranged extra activities that we think will enhance your travel experience, but you have a choice as to whether or not you will participate. These are not included in the cost of your trip. They are usually organised on a group participation basis and should be taken into consideration when budgeting your spending money. 6 Meals Your included meals are detailed in the 'More Inclusions' section of this document. Please note that drinks are not included with meals, except at breakfast where coffee, tea and/or juice may be included. If you wish to purchase drinks at dinner you may do so at your own expense. If you have any dietary requirements we will make every effort to cater to your specific needs as long as you advise your travel agent or Topdeck Trip Consultant when you book. But please be aware that although we will do everything in our power to arrange it, we cannot guarantee that every restaurant we use will be able to cater to all dietary needs. We cannot cater for tastes or dislikes, as most of our included evening meals feature a set menu. However, amidst the fun and excitement, it s important to be aware of your surroundings and personal safety as well. Before you hit the road with us, it s important to be aware of the following: When you re on a night out, remember to avoid walking alone, particularly through deserted areas like beaches and back streets. Always stick together, take a taxi where possible, and keep a note of your accommodation details so you can find your way back to your fellow Topdeckers if you become separated. In some countries, alcoholic measures can be considerably larger than what you may be used to. Try to keep track of what you re drinking, and if you see one of your trip mates looking a little worse for wear, take them back to your accommodation. Be cautious when accepting drinks from strangers and never leave your drink unattended. It s also important to be aware that what you might consider harmless flirting may be interpreted differently in some countries. Be yourself

7 and have fun, but don t be naïve, and be mindful of the signals you are sending out so that you don t find yourself in an uncomfortable situation.
