1 Have the right equipment on the ski slopes Equipment Ski helmet 1 Ski goggles 1 OU 2 If you have special goggles for whiteout days, don t forget to pack them, they can always come in handy. Take 2 pairs of goggles: great if one pair breaks or fogs up! Gloves, mittens 2 1 pair + 1 spare to leave in your backpack Neck warmer, snood 1 Very important: the neck is often where the cold gets in! Backpack 1 You can keep one always ready for skiing (with shovel, probe, avalanche beacon, spare gloves and other useful things) and 1 for going out, travel, etc. Back protector 1 Shovel 1 Can be used to build igloos, make toboggan runs, etc. Probe 1 For freeriding lovers Avalanche beacon 1 For freeriding lovers Vêtements Ski/snowboard jacket 1 2 if they have different technical features, this will also let you leave one to dry if necessary Ski/snowboard liner jacket 1 If you have one Ski/snowboard trousers 1/2 if they are different, or to let a pair dry Base layer, ski underwear 6 Ideally, 1 per day. But you could get by with only 3 or 4. Mid layer, fleece or other material 2 to 4 Used for skiing and for après-ski. Technical leggings, base layer for legs Ski socks or tights 1 OU 2 6 pairs Best solution? Have 2 pairs with a good level of warmth and 1 a little less warm.
2 Have the right equipment on the ski slopes Ski gear Skis Ski boots Ski poles Snowboard Snowboard boots Take them in a ski bag, that will make your life so much easier! And have you thought about the boot bag? very handy to carry your boots! Put them in the ski bag, and off you go! Same about the snowboard bag Same advice: think about the boots bag
3 Don t forget your apres-ski gear! For the apres-ski, the house and the nights out Hat(s) 1 / 2 Sunglasses 1 pair Trousers 2 1 pair for going out, e.g. jeans 1 pair of comfortable trousers of your choice: leggings, jogging bottoms or other Jumper 1 / 2 Depending on the number of fleeces you pack, you could take 1 or 2 «smarter» jumpers T-shirts or tops 6 For around the house and for going out Pair of shoes 1 Comfortable and warm, if possible with studded soles to avoid slipping. Don t take too much with you, choose a pair that can be used for everything (travel, chalet, evenings) Slippers 1 Thick socks would also do the trick and take up less space Pyjamas 1 / 2 Underwear (knickers/pants) 8 Bras 3 / 4 Don t forget the sports bra Pairs of socks 8 Including 2 pairs for travelling (there and back) Children For equipment and clothing, the same as for grown-ups Cuddly toys 1,2,3... or 10! Cuddly toys 1,2,3... or 10! Bodysuits 10 Including 2 for travelling Sleep suit, pyjamas 3 or 8 If you dress your baby during the day, only take 3 sets of pyjamas. Otherwise, put them all in and forget about the trousers. Tights, leggings 6 Trousers 2 or 3 Polaires, pulls 2 or 3 Choose warm and comfortable ones: jogging bottoms, velour or fleece trousers. Socks 6 pairs Always useful, even if you dress them in tights. sleeping bag 2 For cosy nights Ski suit 1 Sunglasses Hat(s) 2 Gloves 1 pair 1 pair
