Curling has been an official sport in the Winter Olympic Games since the 1998 Winter Olympics. It currently includes men's and women's tournaments. Curling is a team sport played by 2 teams of 4 players on a rectangle sheet of ice who slide a stone towards a target. Think of it like shuffleboard. A player slides a stone toward the target and 2 teammates use brooms to try to alter the path of the rock. The objective in skating is to get the highest score from the judges.
